Shark heads is usually an amazing place to find cute little swimsuits & memorabilia from your trip to Biloxi. Expensive, but cute nonetheless. Sharkheads Airbrush Studio is the whole reason for my 2 stars though! My family was visiting for the weekend and we decided to get some tshirts airbrushed, but the lady taking our tshirt orders was HORRIBLE! She had the WORST attitude and was continuously snapping at me when I was placing my order. I really wish I would've gotten her name but I was so infuriated that I got my family together and left. You could tell she was lazy and careless, she didn't even apologize for offending us. She was extremely rude and began by rushing me while I viewed their selection. Then as I was telling her what I wanted on each shirt she made it seem like almost everything I asked for was just impossible to do. I kept my composure and limited my questions to keep our family outing positive in that moment... She continued to be rude, and as I was asking my family members for the template numbers she rudely interrupted me and said "ok i'm gonna need you to talk to me so I can get this done", that's when I let her know that she was extremely rude and I'd rather not do business. My recommendation is, if you do go here for the airbrushed items, get her name before you begin your transaction.. I wish I would've! Sharkheads should know about this employee. read more

The hermit crabs aren't mistreated there.I have lived here for a year but have been coming here for as long as I can remember.Hermit crabs are social creature.If they were mistreated they would be in separate tanks without food or water. read more

This is a huge souvenir shop! They have tons to choose from. We found a Christmas ornament for our travel tree, postcards, and a mug for my mom. Exactly what we were looking for, but they have SO much more to choose from than our easy souvenirs. Also a cute photo opp spot. They have one of those huge huge shark mouths that you can stand under. Also a dolphin to pose with and a shark to climb into so you are standing in it. My husband may or may not have climbed into the shark with our Pomeranian. Speaking of our dog - they are dog friendly! read more

My family loves this store. Even though we are locals we enjoy going here. The fudge is so good. We also love the shirts. They also do a very good job with airbrushing. It also has a big shark head in the front that makes for a perfect photo opportunity. My son enjoys looking at the hermit crabs. read more

As an African American woman, I love being by the beach without unnecessarily baking in the sun. So on my cross-country moving vacation passing through Biloxi, I left my hotel and drove a couple of blocks to grab breakfast, then stopped at Sharkheads, which is across the street from my hotel and conveniently oceanfront. The building is elevated on stilts with covered parking beneath, providing protection from the sun while still allowing an ocean view. The water in the Gulf is too dirty and contaminated to swim in, so most people just lay on the beach sunbathing, which I have no desire to do with my natural tan. My dog and I sat in my moving van for quite some time, me reading while he slept, and enjoyed the gorgeous day, view of the beach and the balmy breeze coming off the water. Several other people also sat in their vehicles nearby, chatting to one another or playing on their phones. At one point I went into Sharkheads to peruse their endless aisles of souvenirs, but didn't come across anything I had to have. The girls working the cash registers were very welcoming and sweet, and assisted me when I wanted to buy an orange juice from their cooler. (Alas, they only sold apple juice and soda). I used the restroom, returned to my vehicle and continued reading. Shortly thereafter, an unidentified white-haired man in casual wear approached me and asked what I was doing there. I told him I was enjoying the gorgeous weather. "Oh," he said, "because you've been parked under my building for awhile. You're not going to sleep here are you?" I looked around and said, "Sleep HERE?? There's no hotel here." "I know ," he said, and again, "it's just that you've been parked under my building for awhile and I just wanted to make sure everything was alright." I assured him that everything was perfectly fine. By this time, the people sitting in the two vehicles in the spots next to mine had stopped what they were doing and were turned around in their seats, staring and watching the exchange taking place between me and the older man. I asked him if I was trespassing or doing anything illegal and he informed me I was not. And as long as I wasn't planning on sleeping there and was just enjoying the weather and the beach it was fine. I was perplexed why he kept mentioning sleeping in broad daylight in early afternoon, or why he assumed that was my plan when I had a perfectly lovely hotel room across the street, but didn't comment on it. As he started to walk away, I fully expected him to also question the caucasian couple in the vehicle to my left or the caucasian man in the vehicle to my right, but he passed right by them as if they didn't exist and kept walking. Realizing that I was being singled out, I called after him and said, "Aren't you going to ask them what THEY'RE doing here?" He stopped walking, turned back to me, the pleasant look leaving his face, now replaced with anger and said, "Excuse me?" "Aren't you going to ask them why they're here just sitting in their cars like you asked me?" "No," he stated, coming closer. "They just got here. You've been sitting here for three hours." I gestured to the man in his car alone and countered, "He's been sitting here a good hour, hour and a half. He did NOT just get here." The man in the car shrugged his shoulders at me, clearly as confused as I was. To which the older gentleman retorted, "You wanna challenge me?? Is that what you wanna do?!? Cuz if you wanna challenge me..." "No, that's not what I want to do." I interrupted. "THIS is what I want to do." I replied, as I pulled out my cell phone and turned on the camera feature. Upon seeing that, the old man immediately started walking away, preventing me from filming him. At that point, not knowing if he was going to call the police and if I might end up getting shot for reading in my vehicle while black and daring to stand up to this entitled man who already informed me I had done nothing wrong, I collected myself and departed Sharkheads parking structure. While the white-haired man prevented me from capturing his image on my phone, through the wonders of the internet, I searched and came across pictures and was able to identify him as J.J. Pierotich, the owner of Sharkheads. Not only will Sharkheads never get a dime of my hard-earned money, thanks to this man, my vacation in the Mississippi Gulf was tainted by an ugly racist experience. I am NOT one to be quick to play the race card because, while I am well aware racism exists, I've always naively believed that the way I carry myself and the way I treat people will erase any negative assumptions made about me based on the amount of melanin I was born with in my DNA. And while this atrocious interaction is very disheartening, I will not allow the actions of Mr. Pierotich to color my view of all caucasian people, the way he apparently has been conditioned to believe the worst of all black people. read more

This shop is HUGE including the parking!! I love that they had the huge shark near the elevators where you can take a picture sticking your head in the shark's mouth. That was a good photo opp. They had everything from air brush T-shirts to frames, magnets, jewelry, bathing suits, and many other unique little souvenirs. Some of the items were a bit overpriced but of course that is always expected. It seemed like for every section they had a SALE section where we got shot glasses for just 2.50 each. Another plus is that they offer a 10% military discount. You should check this store out b/c you will surely be able to find a gift for everyone on your list! read more

Selection wasn't as broad for the the top brands like Hurley and quicksilver. Maybe because they are super popular they don't have a lot. They have a good amount of stuff. We were only able to find one medium tank that was Hurley brand. Place improved since I came to visit. The lady at the changing hut was nice even though we kept going back and fourth. Great employee! Edith at the cashier stand was very sweet as well. My visit improved at this location which I am glad i gave it a second try. read more

OMG! I felt like a kid in a candy shop! There are so many items to choose from. T-shirts, keyrings, shot glasses, etc. Too many things to try and remember. The shop is huge and just full of all types of fun things! I have to admit, I was a little skeptical of the hermit crabs but that's just me personally. LOL I visited Biloxi, MS for the first time and stayed at the Econo Lodge across the street...FROM THE BEACH!!!!! I was in Heaven on earth! I enjoyed every aspect of my LONG DRIVE FROM OMAHA, NE! I'd never been there and was so excited to have the opportunity. Sharkheads Souvenir Shops was OFF THE CHAIN! I loved it! I only wish I had purchased more items but it's ok because I will be returning! A must see! read more

If you are into beach goodies and souvenirs this is your place. This store is enormous and filled with some really cool stuff. The have all your typical items you would expect to find along with some unique items. They have a huge selection of flip-flops including Rainbow's and there is even a t-shirt screen section where they can put pictures on stuff including names on beach towels. You could really spend a fortune in here. I ended up getting some Rainbow's and my sister got a bunch of stuff to take home to Denver. The only complaint I have is the personalized items such a mugs with names were very low on inventory and therefore trying to get anything with my name was impossible- everything was sold out. I really wanted this nurse mug and of course they were out of that so that sucked. Everyone loves to have their name on things so I would have expected that they would be better at keeping up with that. The location is great and there is plenty of parking including covered spots. Outside there are several photo opps that make great pics for the vacationers and the scrapbook. read more

A great selection of gifts. A theme of 'Biloxi'. Chimes made of seashells, beautiful globes, allot of gifts for the kids. Allot of t shirts, bumper stickers, hats/lapel pins, allot of different sea life stuff,(ie starfish) you won't be disappointed. They make great fudge there too. read more

Went to the Sharkheads and was very impressed with how large the store is, a very large variety of souvenir and the staff was very friendly. The store is handicap accessible with elevators on both ends of the building for those in wheelchairs. Thank you for a great time. read more

Last time I saw this place was 10 years ago -- right after Hurricane Katrina. Very glad to see they rebuilt, giant shark head and all!!! I spent about $250 on souvenirs...no regrets. read more
