Fish was freshly fried and was nice and hot! The service was good, nice and friendly. We got the combo dinners which are filling. We wanted to sit and eat but it's really limited options to sit so we at it in the car. I would recommend getting a food tables, the space is there too! Parking can be hard, it's street parking, no lot, there are menus on the counter for your take home convenience. Service: The girl who takes the order was very pleasant, professional and new her stuff about the orders. It appears that the cook may have owned the restaurant and was quietly giving her orders about little things, as maybe he didn't want to have to deal with customers directly and hired a friendly young lady to assist him. Just tasting my six piece wing order and the wings are old - either refried or been sitting for a while. The skin is tough and the meat is hard, dry. I called the store & was told the manager is unavailable. I said that's unacceptable then I was told that he would let the manager know. I proceeded to say I was going on YELP to write a review -he then listened. I gave my phone number--- asked him to repeat it and ended the call . I have not heard anything from Sharks. The customer service is awful the restaurant does not even offer a seat for the customer. Yet again a person selling goods in a neighborhood where no one looks like him. I had the chicken wings and perch combination with fries and coleslaw. I don't like the lemon pepper seasoning that they like to drown on all the food. So now I get to taste the food and it is horrible. No seasoning to ANY of the food. So, that's why it's covered and drowned with lemon pepper. Thanks, but no thanks. Never again. I randomly found this place in my Chicago trip because my hotel was only 2 blocks away. I was blown away. The chicken gizzard was tender, cheap, fresh and went so well with the hot sauce. I literally live around the corner from this establishment and I chose to live here for a reason. If you want to fill up on chicken, just get the dark meat and always get extra lemon pepper. If you're hosting for a big group, the wings are delicious and more worth it if you order by the tray. The sauced party wings are a little smaller but also delicious. If you are doing the fried chicken or wings, always get the hot sauce and mild sauce. I like to get it on the side so my chicken stays crispy. I've had the fried talapia a few times and it's pretty good. Don't ever get the pizza puff. It was gross. Expect to wait a bit since the chicken is fried to order aka always fresh. read more

All of their menus are pretty close to identical, centered around chicken wings and fried fish. I think it's important to rate restaurants relatively, so out of the hundreds of fish& chicken restaurants Sharks is my favorite; yes over Harolds. I think Sharks is the most consistent out of the bunch and they by far have the best fish. A lot of the other spots mostly focus on chicken and their fish suffers. Wings are wings so fish is really the differentiating factor to me so that's why I like Sharks so much. I'd highly recommend. read more

The owner is a snake. He went over my order twice with me and when I got home my little to no fries were cold and stiff like they had been old for two days. He cheated me on my fish dinner.
