There was also a group tour from our Norwegian cruise ship that made a stop there, pretty cool. They serve food including wood fired pizzas. We walked out in the patio and they showed us the pizza oven. We bought shirts when we ordered, they had a nice selection, but I think they need better color choices. As we were finishing our beers and I snapped some pics for Yelp, I noticed a Michigan flag on the wall. I asked the bartender who was from Michigan and he told me the owner, and told me she was sitting on the patio. We went out to find her and met her. After I pointed it out, they corrected it, so I assumed it was an honest mistake and decided to come back. On our second visit, I ordered wings and a spicy mezcalita. The drink wasn't spicy, so I asked if they could make it a bit hotter. They added more Tajín. Fine. Not what I meant, but not worth arguing about. The real issue came with the bill. I was charged nearly 600 pesos for the mezcalitas. When I asked why, I was told that because I requested extra spice, they charged me as if I had ordered another drink. Meanwhile, their margaritas are listed at 119 pesos. Charging hundreds of extra pesos because a customer asks for a little more spice is absurd. The food was mediocre, the restaurant smelled like sewage inside, and the server had already added himself a 15% tip. When I declined the automatic gratuity, he was clearly unhappy about it. I still left 10%. After two visits involving questionable charges, disappointing food, and poor service, we won't be returning.

But at 60 pesos ($3.50ish a beer, depending on exchange) you cant go wrong! When I am back in the area, I will definitely stop by for more beer and try out their food.
