    Giant Mozzarella Sticks!
    Melinda S.

Wet City is an awesome spot to hang out! The bartenders I've met are very friendly and accommodating. There is a decent amount of bar seating as well as table seating. For food, I've tried their giant mozzarella sticks which are tasty and delightfully cheesy, and have tried their Tuesday special Crunchwrap, which was very delicious and filling (shared with my partner!). They have a good variety of beers and also liquor if you'd prefer a cocktail! Overall, this is a great local spot and will definitely be back!

Ok, so I spent the block again. I was a bit upset Drake wasn't manning the bar. There was clearly a difference in the quality of service I received. I was also disappointed that they were out of wings. I ordered the Brussels sprouts and the Pilsner-style beer. I also ordered the chicken tacos. Overall, it was a good experience, but it could have been better. The music and vibe gave me life as always.

I've been to wet city a couple times. They are very consistent in just providing a nice vibe. I got wings, garlic parm to be specific, and they were really good! Their wings must be popular because they ran out the day I was there. They have a full bar and really make custom cocktails. I had a glass of wine then asked the bartender to make a drink he thought I'd enjoy, he made a drink with a custom syrup he had just created. Very good! I will definitely be back!

It's been years since I first went to Wet City, and I was a Yelp Elite back then. Not sure why I never wrote a review before now [shrugs]. That said, I visited Wet City this past Sunday, 6/29 to attend a listening party of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. I came closer to the start of the event and thus I was able to secure a stool at the bar. I like the looks of Wet City - I'd visited this space before it was Wet City and it was in the dive bar category back then, dark and a wee bit gross. However, Wet City is light and bright. Off-white walls and light toned wood (birch???) furniture and fixtures. It gives me Scandinavian vibes, made even better by the awesome art adorning most walls in Wet City. I went with a suggested sour beer, which was OK. Unfortunately I tasted a better beer after I ordered the other, but I'll go back another time for it. Additionally, I ordered a burger which came with fries. There was a bit of delay with my food coming out which was fine given the crowd. The burger was really good! Unfortunately the fries were oversalted and I had to send them back. They came back out with no salt, which was frustrating. Don't swing to the other side of the pendulum, I just want the middle, sheesh. Overall, not a bad visit, but could be better. I'd return to improve my star rating.

Great venue for album listening parties. Smooth mature vibes and lighting. Great for 30+ plus crowd music heads. The menu is diverse and pretty good. Only two bathrooms, so management has to keep cleaner with air fresheners. Street parking is pretty easy. Extra points for art.

Visited Wet City for Evening Ritual Vinyl Listening Session: SADE Definitely a more mature crowd for the event, well appreciated. We listened to both sides of SADE debut album "Diamond Life" with open discussion at the end. We ordered the hot lemon pepper wings snd Mediterranean Caesar Salad. Top tier. Cole and Casey were the absolute BEST!

My friend recommended the kimchi tater tots, and they were surprisingly delicious. The fermented sourness of the kimchi balanced perfectly with the starchy richness of the potatoes.

Where do I begin?! Wet city is a beautiful gem! I love that it is a place for everyone; date night, friends, and I've even seen families come in and eat. The owner is so kind and personable and helpful when it gets busy. I love the themed music nights!!! It's a good time!! Wing night is exceptional! They partnered with the Sauce King himself Mr Monroe to bring you a top tier wing. The Caesar salad with the chickpeas are chef's kiss!! The purple marg is a hit and the beer selection has something for everyone. Thanks Wet City for always making me feel welcomed!

I'll start off by saying the staff were super nice and helpful with ordering- The drinks my friend and myself got were very bland not much taste at all we got a blue and a pink seltzer kind of drink I can't remember the names of the drinks- might have been Peach, Blue Hibiscus, Mint, Thirst and swoon? My friend said hers was interesting- she couldn't taste the mint- and mine (the pink) didn't taste much like anything- I wish I got the lil smoochie- my other friend said it was delicious. I also got the pickles to go which came out 20 minutes after my friends tator tots came out- but they were the BEST fried pickles I have ever had- The ambiance was chill and the decor was super cute- it was clean and modern. I'll be coming back to try other things on the menu for sure!

I went to an invite only at this place and as I pulled up my first reaction was wtf? I thought I was going out for a nice evening and now I may need a tetanus shot... lo and behold I stepped into an oasis. Very neat and well appointed , I was flabbergasted. Upon stepping out of the vestibule there was a strong aroma of incense and fried chicken. The door guy asked if we had been there before and then laid down expectations... claim your seat and one at a time come order your food and/or beverage take a table flag with a number and they will bring your order out. It turned out to be a tribute to Earth, Wind & or as my father called them The Essential Elements. A time was had and the night turned out better than expected. My suggestion...get a kiosk that goes to each table or a text to order system because getting up and standing in a line by the front door may lose you a few customers. IJS

This place is so dope! Great drinks, the staff is super nice & accommodating, food is well beyond expectations for a drink focused place like this. Atmosphere and vibe are quite diverse, we felt welcome even though we were way less cool than the rest of the clientele. ; ) We got burgers and apps and all were well executed.

I was in town for work and looked up a bunch of breweries open on a Monday. I visited this spot and was instantly greeted. I was told about the $12 burger and $3 dry hopped series beer special! I sat at the bar and was recommended several sounds that were incredible! Exceptional service and cool aesthetic. The buyer was great as well. I forgot to get a copy of the check to get reimbursed through my work and Scott Jones promptly helped me get a copy.

And I love that they give back to the community in areas such as education, community and philanthropy. Stopped in this past Saturday with a bunch of my gym friends. I love that their tap list offers a little bit of everything for everyone, from classic lagers and IPA to house ciders. I am a Pilsner girl, so their Pilsner was my fave. I love that they do weekly events such as Trivia and open mic nights to name a few as well as host a few several food trucks out back. Oh and this is the spot where they have that really nice flea market as well. You have to check their Instagram page to see which food trucks will be serving food. Saturday they had empanadas from Aru Aru, which were very yummy and made fresh to order. Best spot if you are a beer connoisseur, great place for happy hours and is accommodating for large parties. Plus you bring your own cards and board games to play as well. I will so definitely return.

The old church and architecture is so warm and inviting-- it was still decorated and lit for Christmas so it felt extra festive. It WAS weird to see the brew tanks at the front of the old church, where the altar would have been. But it also places the beer on the altar of our Friday night so I was OK with that. I had an American Pale Ale, the husband had a Kolsch. My beer was exceptional and delicious. My husband said the kolsch was OK. They also have a cute space with books and board games! As well as a cool merchandise wall with excellent cool t-shirts. I had to restrain myself. There is no kitchen or food served here. Order at the bar and sit where you want, there are plenty of tables and a lot of elbow space. The folks at the bar are Super Nice and you should tip them well. They told me there is usually a food truck that shows up at an undisclosed time in the evening. We did order some fantastic pretzels (w/ smoked gouda) and waited some more but ultimately had to go find a meal elsewhere. We will be back, perhaps in warmer weather to wait out the food truck and have more beer. Also, we were there for happy hour so our beers were $5! Thank you to all of the kind people at The Ministry of Brewing! We will be back.

What a fun brewery!…read more My brother had a birthday gathering here this year - we were able to comfortably seat a group of 15-20 people in the outdoor picnic section area. Highly recommend this spot for groups looking for a place to gather and socialize. The space is deceivingly large; there are multiple indoor spaces all within a quick stride from a long bar with dozens of beer taps. The outdoor space is even larger than what's available indoors; their vast street level patio/deck space is full of picnic tables and benches that are perfect for larger groups when the weather is nice. And yes, their outdoor patio is pet friendly. While the brewery itself doesn't serve food, there was a food truck (that looked to be there quite often) set up in the outdoor area that had several good options. I had their burger and fries which was exactly what I needed after an afternoon of brews. The beer itself was tasty; I had several of their hazy IPA's which I've grown to enjoy. They also offer a very solid selection of N/A beer options; some of the folks in our group enjoyed them and gave them great reviews. I didn't get a chance to check out the arcade portion of the brewery, but yes, this is a barcade as well. If you're looking for an inclusive, energetic brewery to check out, definitely keep Peabody on your list.

It's a Barcade, and again, if you're a Baltimore Orioles fan, this is definitely a destination to check out. When we arrived, we were seated right away, but it seemed like there were very few staff working--possibly only one waiter. It took about 10 minutes before we finally had to flag him down just to place our order. The food then took around 25-30 minutes to come out, which felt very long since we were on a tight schedule for our flight. When the food finally arrived, I ordered the macaroni and cheese, and unfortunately it was the worst mac and cheese I've ever had. I don't want to be mean, but it was very bland and really needed salt. My sister surprisingly liked it, but it just wasn't for me at all. The rest of my family did enjoy their meals, and I thought the fries were decent, just lightly seasoned. My mom especially liked the grilled cheese. The waiter himself was nice and kept our drinks refilled, so I don't think the long wait was entirely his fault. The restaurant is very cute inside with cozy, old-style vibes and festive Christmas decorations, which I really liked. However, between the long wait times, the limited menu, and my disappointing mac and cheese, I wouldn't recommend that dish. Overall, it's a charming place, but the service was too slow for us--especially when trying to catch a flight.
