The regular price is on the higher side at $29 plus tip, but with the quality of the cut -- and the compliments I've gotten -- it felt worth it. I usually go to another barbershop that charges $20 plus tip. It's a quick in‑and‑out cut, and sometimes a lazy or incompetent barber does a questionable job. No wash, no hot towel, no neck shave. For the price, it's probably fair. As a fixed‑income retiree, I'll likely continue using the less expensive barbershop for routine cuts, but I can definitely see myself coming back to Hair Mechanix every few months to treat myself. Sometimes it's worth paying a little more for genuinely good service.
