Sharper image pools has done a fabulous job remodeling my pool. I would highly recommend them.

Current Resolutions - Ok, Sharper Image is Owning it! Thank you Beth for caring enough to talk to me in person. Conclusion = Refund pending but I feel so much better about them. 10/07/2025 Sharper Image = I tell them for three weeks in a row before this week that there's algae and it needed to be brushed and treated. Since it doesn't get brushed, algae comes back . They send the same guy who didn't do it properly two weeks before hand to treat it and guess what because it was never brushed now I have more algae. Not to mention when he tried to leave, and I asked him to come back and look at the green and yellow algae on my pool. He laughed at me. All they wanna do is send me a bill for things that should've been covered under my $40 a week, maintenance and chemical charge. And this is how they treat somebody who spent 20 grand ( I must not have spent enough for a little respect) in May and they also know that I'm recently widowed and guess what they don't give a damn! So now I get to pay the new Pool company to do W/Sharper Image couldn't seem to do. Negative stars! Hurt and disappointed. read more

Extremely unhappy with Sharper Image Pools. I thought I was contracting a reputable company but unfortunately everything was outsourced. Diagnostics was never accurate from the beginning leading to extra costs along the way. It's been 3-4 months now and I still don't have a working pool. The last phase has once again been outsourced and I have been ignored as a customer. After spending close to $15,000 on this project you would think the company would see it through to the end but unfortunately not. This project has been a complete waste of money and we still have not enjoyed our pool. If you are looking for a pool remodel I would seek bids from other companies as this one is definitely not professional or reliable at all. read more

When deciding to hire Sharper Image for our pool resurfacing, the first person I spoke with was the owner of the company. He was very informative but wasn't pushy at all. I'm so glad we decided to go with this company, from the first phone call to the last day they started our pool back up. With all of their crew that came to the house, every single person was so nice and very professional. Nick is probably one of the nicest people I've had at my house doing work, EVER! On June 30, 2021, and after 28 years, our pool pump finally gave out. After making numerous phone calls to very brusque responding companies, I found Sharper Image Pools. Beth was very patient and asked me for pictures of the existing unit. She asked that I send as many as possible so they could see what they were dealing with for a replacement. The very next day, I received an emailed quote from Sandy. I replied with some questions, and she immediately returned my call. On July 5, Dave installed the pump in a couple hours. He did such a neat job and left everything in perfect order. The entire office staff provided outstanding service, and I would recommend this company wholeheartedly. read more

If I could give it a 0 stars I would worse customer service I have ever encountered. . . I needed to have someone come out to give me an estimate, I called them and I spoke with a woman first. She was rude and not very helpful, she put a man on the phone that was equally rude and unhelpful. Apparently didn't think my pool was worthily of their time. Thank you for not helping me out. This pool cleaning business has cleaned my pool for over a year. They have always been quick to respond to issues due to weather or with the pump. I had them do a remodel recently. A few years ago Sharper Image did some extensive repairs and refinished my pool interior with marcite. Though the pool had been attentively and properly maintained, the marcite is coming loose and crumbling. Repeated attempts to have Sharper Image correct/repair their flawed workmenship has fallen on deaf ears. Don't make the same mistake I did and fall prey to their BS. read more

Called to complain so I finally got a call back. Then scheduled an apt time only to be no called no showed. Thank you Anthony for wasting my entire day! Called Sharper Image a week ago to request an appt for an estimate on resurfacing/remodeling our pool. Was told the sales person would give me a call. 3 days later still hadn't received a call, so I called the office once again. I was told: "oh yes, that would be Anthony. I can give you his cell number or relay your message to him again". I said relay my message and was told he will call me promptly. Well, here we are 4 days later and still no call from Anthony. HOW DOES THIS GUY STILL HAVE HIS JOB?????? Must be a relative of the owner. My husband told me even is he does call now this is a company we surely don't want to do business with. Imagine the hassle we'd go thru once they started and we had issues. And this is winter, their slow time. Imagine the service you would get during "their season". Good riddens Sharper Image. read more
