I got online and searched for "best barber shops in Queens." Right at the top of the search was Prestige Barbershop here in Lefferts. Honestly, I've walked past this place many times before without stopping. I had the impression that barbershops in Kew Gardens don't always deliver the best fades. Naturally, I assumed this one might be the same and planned to head to Jamaica for a fade instead. But these guys have done something smart. They have a website, offer online scheduling, and showcase all their barbers on Instagram. That's what made me decide to give them a shot. I checked out the barbers and their work on Instagram, and I was impressed -- their fades looked solid. That simple, smart move of being visible online and showing their skills won them a new customer. I told the owner kudos for that. Plus, booking an appointment was really easy and convenient with no back and forth or hassle. If you've ever dealt with barbers who make the scheduling process more complicated than it needs to be, you know what I mean. The cut looks clean, and I like it, though next time I might go back to a fade. I'm used to getting fades, but I'm open to trying new styles. I'll see how it grows out in the next few weeks. The plan was to do a cut that looks good now and continues to look good as it grows in over time. That part remains to be seen. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the haircut, the service, and the shop. Small shop at well kept and the three barbers are very well versed in their craft. Yogi shaped me up in about half an hour and had me back at work in no time. Definitely worth a half an hour drive from LaGuardia to liberty Ave. They all wear masks in the shop and clean up pandemic protocols call for. They're also available on booksy.

just some feedback for your business ;…read more I had an Appointment with Johnney Fade I'm trying to understand why I am making an appointment on Booksy and when I get there 1 someone is in the chair ( ok fine ) but then you telling me I gotta wait another 20 for some else after the person in the chair to get there cut when I am schedule for 9:30; very unprofessional if there was a delay you owe it to the customer to update the Booksy and let them know the appt has been pushed back ; this is the second time this has happened; at least shoot a text inform the customer before they get there that you are behind schedule ; the fade game prides it self on being the most reliable barbershop and from the experience I've had it's not at all !
