Good place to grab some munchies especially on a Monday afternoon when a lot of places have closes for the morning or jot yet opened for dinner service. Would give a higher rating, but could not try the fried chicken.

Amazing staff, delicious fried chicken, and a nice can of malta. This place leaves a great imprint on you if you want a local feel. One item I can highly recommend is their fried chicken. If you want a cheap fulfilling meal shaunaas is the place to go if you are visiting vieques

This is a buffet restaurant that is open only for lunch. The food is Puerto Rican. I love that most customers are locals, mostly they are workers from nearby business. We went twice there. It is not a fancy place nor it has elaborated food, it is simple food. The 5 stars are for the quality and taste of food and for the service: we arrived 15 minutes before closing, the food was already taken away from the buffet and the place was spotless clean, they were ready to close -- nonetheless they served us in few minutes and made us feel comfortable. The chicken beats most of soul food I had. The bacalao guisado (cod fish stew) is terrific! The flans are sinful! I just wish they had local fruit juices but nobody is perfect. The name on Yelp is (was) incorrect, it is Shaunaa's. They have a page on FB but Yelp doesn't allow a link to it. Correct hours are 10:30am-5pm (information provided March, 2012).

This is a lunch buffet with typical puerto rican food. It's fast, and it's not terribly expensive. It was good, nothing spectacular.

The ginger limeade was also very tasty, and we grabbed a bottle of it on our way out to enjoy the rest of the day! They even gave use cups of ice and lids/straws for the road, very helpful. Nice and laid back place, you order at the counter and then they bring out the food. No rush, nice to sit and relax and enjoy the view!

So, I say all this to say - make sure to make a reservation if you'd like to avoid a long wait &/or disappointment with there not being a table available. We were extremely lucky to have gotten a table with a relatively short wait on a busy evening. Likely because it was within the last hour of the restaurant's opening!! Now - on to the best part... the FOOD! The creamy pumpkin soup with an arepa was really delicious!!! Full of flavour, prepared with passion and love and I would definitely go back for more! For our mains, my sister and I decided to both have the seasonal fresh caught fish with Puerto Rican yellow rice - YUMMMM! My only regret is that the fish was not big enough... I would have loved MORE! Overall this was a great dining experience.

We were seated right away with friendly staff . We ordered fruit juice (mango and watermelon) and got them right away. They were excellent and super cold (maybe too much ice and not enough drink).
