We made sure we communicated our intent prior to headed to the shop. We let them know and got the "go ahead" prior to loading the 4 wheeler up. We arrived and it was as if we farted in church. Pickup, post repairs, was even worse. Durham traffic caused awful delays. We called ahead to let them know we would be there in 10 minutes and arrived with minutes to spare. Their response, "well...get here or the gates will be locked. Sorry. "Best be here by 5 or no one will be around." We get there at 4:58. Lights off. A guy on a forklift is blocking the back lot entrance to make sure I don't delay him closing the gates. He says nothing and offers me no information. I go in and have to ask multiple times "can I get my key and the Polaris." The nice repair guy gets the key. He tells me it's outside. Where outside? I was just outside. Someone parked it at the other gate around the other gate outside the blocked lot that was already closed up. I begin walking around the shop. Final thoughts: I'll go ANYWHERE else. I guess I'm not a regular, so I won't inconvenience y'all anymore. Forklift dude...I get it. You worked all day. But, come on man. You didn't even leave after getting in your personal truck.

We took our motorcycle to this shop for diagnosis of a warranty-related concern. We did not take it there and tell them to repair whatever they wanted and send us a bill afterward. At no point were we provided a quote for repairs before the work was completed. At no point were we contacted and asked to approve over $1,000 in repairs. At no point did we authorize the labor or parts that were installed. Instead, we were informed the bike was finished and then provided what was labeled as an "estimate" after the repairs had already been completed. An estimate is supposed to help a customer decide whether they want the work performed. It's hard to make that decision when the work has already been done. What makes this even more concerning is that the owner later admitted he could not produce any signed authorization approving the repairs. No signed repair authorization. No signed estimate approval. No email approval. No text approval. Nothing. The owner also stated in writing that it was his decision that the issue was not a warranty concern. Rather than contacting the warranty company before repairs were performed, he made that determination himself and completed the work first. Think about that for a second. The shop found time to diagnose the bike. The shop found time to perform the repairs. The shop found time to install parts. The shop found time to create an invoice. The shop found time to decide the failure wasn't warranty related. But somehow there was never time to call the customer and obtain approval before moving forward. Throughout this process, getting answers and documentation was a battle. We repeatedly requested paperwork and records. We were given changing explanations, references to documents that could not be produced, and excuses instead of clear proof that the repairs had actually been authorized. As business owners ourselves, we understand mistakes happen. What we don't understand is how a shop can complete repairs, present a four-figure bill, and then be unable to provide documentation showing the customer approved the work. If you choose to do business here, protect yourself. Get copies of everything. Get every estimate in writing. Get every authorization in writing. Do not assume you will be contacted before work is performed. We certainly wish we had. For those asking what the issue was... Went in for not starting until warm, they found some valves had no clearance and fixed them without letting us know until after it was all said and done, stated it was over 8.5 hours of work. On their website which anyone can view, a customer only authorizes 1.5 hours of diagnostic work, to which then the customer is to be contacted if they need to go further to get authorization from the customer. None of that was done.

A slow leak quickly went to a fast leak so in the middle of everything else we were trying to deal with we got the tire inflated and were able to drive it to Durham Tire. The staff there were AMAZING -- friendly, understanding, and efficient. They did a great quick job for us and got us back on the road, along with kind words about our loss. We have always received good service there, but they really went above and beyond this time. Their empathy and responsiveness was much appreciated.

He then tried to say that they were so Christian that they could not have done a bad job but I don't think it is Christian to waste time and do a bad job and be rude to your customers. Required fairly extensive maintenance, so I was expecting to drop some coin. The counter man was friendly, helpful, and gave me a quote I was pretty happy with. In the end, it was unusually spot on, and when I came to pay and fetch, a different counter lady saw my work ID and gave me a discount for working at Duke. Overall, fair, efficient and would definitely be comfortable going back there again.

A few months ago, I took my QX80 in for an oil change before traveling out of town. Thank goodness we stopped at a church and a nice man checked the oil and told us to follow him to a local place where we brought oil and he added it. I am not sure what was done but the oil was not changed correctly. I spoke to the manager of service and he did make it right. I kept going back to get my car serviced for a while, but then started going to Apex as it was more conveniently located. Just recently, I started going back to Raleigh since crossroads no longer owned the Apex Infiniti. This particular time I called about being on the way to pick up Vehicle. It was close to closing and we were on the way. The person on the other end of line was very rude(I guess they were ready to go home And close down before 6 PM) and he actually ended up hanging up on me. I called the manager to let him know about my experience and he told me he would "talk to him". Totally unacceptable for a luxury brand service. I have gotten my vehicle serviced every single time (since I've had it) at the Infinity car dealership.
