I've been here twice but I simply don't care for the food. The food is very greasy and this time I got the Philly cheesesteak. Most disgusting sandwich I have ever tasted. Been meaning to write my review, something I do not generally do. Every once in a while you find that place that warrants the effort. Just WOW you guys. Family owned little hidden gem in Sunland. Having been a fan of Mediterranean food my whole life, I have had my fair share of delicious eats. Stopped by B of A across the street some time ago, and fortunately spotted this restaurant & went in, been a fan since and was there today. The food is BOMB, hands down. I get the shawarma plates. Every single time it has been on point. The meat is fresh and well prepared. Lot's of sides with the extras. Talk about a HUGE portion, can generally split one of their plates. Me I eat the whole thing myself. The staff, especially the owners-I think his name is Arnous (hope I spelled that right), are super cool and very much concerned with you enjoying your meal and having a good time. The sign for the restaurant is a bit too small and you can easily miss it as did I for years. LOVE IT!!!!!! read more

I wasn't very impressed with this place. I had it bookmarked on yelp for a while since I am a huge fan of shawarma. First of all, when I walked in to pick up my order since I had ordered over the phone, the worker who was behind the counter wasn't very nice and communicative. I asked him a few questions and he kept mumbling, to a point where I had to tell him to speak up since I didn't understand or hear him. It didn't look like he was enjoying his job at all. Second of all, I felt like my plate was missing something. I ordered a Beef Shawarma plate. All it had was rice, beef, hummus, and lettuce (Which was supposed to be a salad) without any dressing. I also asked the worker if they had any turnips which he responded to no they do not. (Not sure if this is true or not since Ive seen them in the other yelp pictures). The meat was also pretty dry. The hummus was the best part of the meal. I might give them another try in a few months and will update my review at that time. read more

I live in the neighborhood so I decided to go in and try this place a few months ago. The rotisserie chicken was browning nicely and I wanted some of it. Instead of giving me what I had requested the lady at the counter went to the back, got a quarter of chicken that looked raw and was about to grill it to hasten the cooking process. Seriously?? I tried the beef shawarma today and it was amazing. I don't know what type of beef they use or how they marinate it but it tasted great. Also the sauce was unique and delicious. Oh and they were so generous with the amount of beef they put in my wrap! I work up the street from this spot and seems like this is going to be my new lunch spot! read more

Place was empty with 3 people in line , it took 15 min to take the order , 10 min later they apologized it was taking so long and they then started cooking the meat i ordered , so almost 45 min later i got the food and was totally not worth the wait the rotisserie chicken was dry and lacked any flavor , the kebab is a poor example of midlde eastern lule kebob .. I was rally hoping this place would turn out good .maybe if you guys get a experienced manager to run the place and a chef to help with your menu you will have a shot ..considering you would be the only place that delivers food other than pizza around.. What a pleasant surprise! Not only a nice place to sit and have your meal, but awesome food as well (and a LOT of food at that!). I ordered the falafel and my husband had the pork. It was served to us in take out containers (note to business - I'd rethink that - if it's in your reach - do some plates, and some silverware, invite people to sit and eat, rather than speedily work through their meals and leave. ok ok ...Im just sleeping my buddys house since Im working in LA tomorrow....I been yelping for an hour....craving kabab..wanted to go to the skewer spot since better reviews but I was like hey lets try this shawarma house instead since it looked more welcoming and more of a FAST food service....cus skewer house looked like a resto...oh man wrong decision....ok so I wasnt that hungry...just wanted lentil soup and side orders of kabab...yes side order, not a whole meal....so I get there , and theres 3 guys eating already so Im like gooood this should be fast....I mean the soup should be in a pot already and the kabab should be either fully cooked or 90 percent cooked....well whatever just heat it up type of thing......so im waitin for my order a dude walks in talks to the dude behind counter...then 5 minutes after he gets his food (2 to go orders) - so im skeptical like ok maybe dude called ahead but they sure was talking like they knew eachother so im like ok watever...10 minutes pass...a guy walks in and he joins the 3 dudes who was already eating or done eating....he sits down n they start talkin to the guy behind the counter in their language so im like oh no they know eachother but who cares....then he called him up n he give him 4 of the styro to go boxes n i guess he ordered ahead of time too lol....hence I did say they were eating already when I got there so im like ok this is wrong...so I guess dude in counter starts to notice that im noticing so he works on mine....n then there I get my order after 22 mins. - really for lentil soup n 2 side orders of kababs.... im home now, and the soup is SOUR AS HELL..... I shouldve read reviews about it cus erbody is sayin its sour n i guess nobody is correcting it....oh well, skewer house next time. read more
