    Pad Thai lunch
    Edwin M.

I'm the only one in my family that likes Thai food. I finally had a lunch when I was on my own and could indulge. I drove out of my way to come here with great expectations. The dining area looked haphazard and thrown together, but I've been to plenty of mom & pop places like that that served great food. I waited for a bit to finally be greeted by the "mom" part of the equation when she came out from the kitchen and whose shrug invited me to pick my table. Still ok. I ordered Thai Iced Tea and Pad Thai with shrimp for which there was a dollar up charge. I was nicely warned that the tea was sweet and made with milk in case I was allergic. There was a lot of attention paid to the salad that was pleasing to the eyes and palate. The dressing was light and the salad dressed well. Then the Pad Thai came out as a pile of congealed noodles and 3 shrimp. The shrimp tasted fine, but the noodles had no taste. I was really hoping for Thai flavors, but left still wanting Thai food.

I had a large catering order from this restaurant because I knew the food was excellent. Alex, the manager went above and beyond to help me with my orders. Her kitchen staff made my catering party experience memorable! The food was delicious and the presentation was superb! Thank You so much Alex and team for making my party memorable! I appreciate your hard work! I will definitely visit you again soon!!!

The food is simply amazing, and the service is quick! It's a small dine-in place, but I noticed that many have been ordering and picking up their food! Either way, it is worth it! I would love to come back again to try others. This place is highly recommended! Customer Service is excellent, and the restroom is clean.

Our friend ordered and we picked it up. It took just one 30 minutes to be ready. We paid $2 for peanut sauce and it was a tiny little container. They have really raised their prices, and it was just ok. The Tom Kha soup was tasty, but lacking in any substance. Mostly broth. The yellow curry was really very good but very runny. The mango sticky rice was good but for 12.00 was way too expensive. Probably won't go back

Holy wow! What a find! I had to do a return up here and I walked into this gem. Delicious home made food! Ohhh la la. Great service. Great music on the overheads. And cute spot! Not to mention great tai ice tea (with coconut milk substitute option) I feel blessed to have walked into this gem in the land of Sunland.

Have been eatting here for 20 years since it used to be My Thai. We definitely have our favorites such as the red curry, Tom ka kah, but I wish the chicken had more flavours, the protein lacks flavour and the texture is dry, instead I get everything veggie base and am happy. Cashew chicken though is definitely one of our favorites.

Very slow to get food. I called in the order to the store and they told me 20 minutes, when I got to the store, the lady had me pay and then began to make my order. Took another 25 minutes. I was try to be considerate of their UberEats fees so I called it in. Terrible service and the food isn't all that great.

Thanks to Elite Yelper Tora M for pointing out this local treasure. Pad Thai and Mango & Sticky Rice were both delicious. My order took a minute to prepare, which was a good sign because the dishes were fresh and hot when I picked them up. Rice Avenue is a tiny restaurant with about three tables if you would like to dine in (one large table set aside for to-go orders.) Rice Avenue seems to have survived the pandemic in style. Free parking on the street or in the strip mall parking lot.

At the time, there was only one other party and no one greeting. Eventually, a server came to take my order, and I had the chicken curry combo. Despite trying to order this, I kept being brought back to the appetizers, and I think he was trying to get me to order the combo items separately (versus as a set) to make an extra dime, but I really couldn't have eaten that much in a meal. The taste of the curry was acceptable; the chicken curry was sweet. Both the chicken in the chicken curry and the chicken sa-te was very dry. At one point, it resembled overcooked an dry, tough fish. The brown (peanut?) sauce to dip the chicken sa-te was probably the best part of the meal, even better than the rice. While I wanted a Thai Tea, they were all pre-made, and there was no option to adjust the sugar level. Given these experiences, I'm not sure if I'd return again in the future.

Thai food at its best is vibrant and flavorful, and this was the farthest from that. I'm honestly stunned this place got such good reviews. And the service was awful. The server didn't stop by and explain why there was such a delay and didn't apologize for such a long wait. When half the table is eating and the other half has to wait around a half hour to eat, it really is a terrible experience. I also had to go up to the counter to request a check and had to go to the counter again to pay, otherwise we might still be waiting for them to figure it out. And charging an 18% "service fee" for a party of six, when you provide such poor service, is incredibly disrespectful. It's no wonder we were ignored, because the server knew she was going to get 18% regardless.

Another Yelper commented that this place was lackluster. Well he nailed it on the coffin. First off, it was hard to find now since it's in a strip mall where all other shops are now permanently closed. Well at least you know parking is no longer a problem here unlike back in the days when you would be lucky to find a parking on the street. Ordered a noodle dish that was supposed to have duck. No duck flavor in the broth and it came out looking like ramen noodles instead of egg noodles and the broth was so bland. Usually, a Thai boat noodle soup would have a rich, beef, savory flavored broth with flavors of herbs and spices. This was bland and took a bit of "doctoring" up with condiments in order to make it taste decent. The beef pad see ew did not have that unique IFYKYK taste you would expect from cooking on a hot, fiery wok. We happened to be driving back home but wanted to get Thai food on the way home. What i should've done is drive a few miles further and ate at the Wat Thai temple. Everything we ate here cost almost freaking $85 dollars including a Thai iced tea and a Sprite with the colored syrup. Save your money and go to Wat Thai for a tastier, food experience.
