We recently moved into the area and we were looking to lock into a reliable and excellent Thai spot. ALAS! This place is fantastic. Superb food, a quirky, delightfully friendly staff and you can't go wrong whether you are eating in the restaurant or ordering for delivery or pick up. Consistent, delicious, and there is care and attention put into every dish. They definitely go the extra mile too. On a busy night, close to closing, we ordered a good round of food for pickup. One dish was missed. (They made it, but just didn't put it in our bag.) She hopped in her car and DROVE it to us. Brilliant. They are so sweet at this place and again, the food is just SUPER. There is a lot of love and care in this spot. You can see it on the walls of the restaurant and in the food. My girlfriend, son and I walked into this place on 6-27-26 at around 7:30pm. It was empty so we patiently waited for the lady to finish cleaning after the last customer that had dined in. It was our first time there and so we weren't sure if we can just sit anywhere we liked so we kept it respectful and patiently and quietly waited . Finally when the lady decided to acknowledge us she rudely said " what do you want?" My partner and I both looked at each other in shock and I then looked back at her and asked " Can we eat?" She waved with a dismissive attitude and a dirty angry face. We immediately walked out. We didn't feel welcomed at all. The energy was negative and the night was ruined. Management is losing money because of her. We were looking to make this our go to Thai restaurant for this area. We were excited because we had read several 5 star reviews but there's no way they're not unpaid reviews. The place looked fairly clean for not being in an upscale area and the vibe looked authentically Thai. However they don't greet you. They don't respect you. They make you feel like you're not there to pay$$ in exchange for a meal. She treated us as if we were burdening her. They say misery loves company so we left immediately. We're taking our money to Lanna Thai kitchen in Reseda. Definitely worth the drive and the try if you're ever in the area. They treat us with respect and dignity there. Foods always fresh and they have a substantially bigger menu to choose from. This place should take notes from a place like that. One of the best Thai food spots I've tried. Great portions and friendly service! I always come here when I am craving pepper chicken, egg roll or drunken noodles. They have various of options. I'm the only one in my family that likes Thai food. I finally had a lunch when I was on my own and could indulge. I drove out of my way to come here with great expectations. The dining area looked haphazard and thrown together, but I've been to plenty of mom & pop places like that that served great food. I waited for a bit to finally be greeted by the "mom" part of the equation when she came out from the kitchen and whose shrug invited me to pick my table. Still ok. I ordered Thai Iced Tea and Pad Thai with shrimp for which there was a dollar up charge. I was nicely warned that the tea was sweet and made with milk in case I was allergic. There was a lot of attention paid to the salad that was pleasing to the eyes and palate. The dressing was light and the salad dressed well. Then the Pad Thai came out as a pile of congealed noodles and 3 shrimp. The shrimp tasted fine, but the noodles had no taste. The prices have gone up a lil over the years but the food it's still so amazing and worth it. Best Thai food. I always get the lunch special during the week try the shrimp chow mein. All their food is made fresh. Some of my favorites outside of lunch are their tom kha soup I get it spicy with tofu and veggies and the cucumber salad. I've never been disappointed! read more

Awesome fresh food. Everything is made right as soon as you order it. I didn't like the crab wonton, though. It's just a square with a tiny corner bent over with a little cream cheese. The coca shrimp is fantastic and so are their soups. read more

Food is good, but in the last year the prices went up 80%. Coconut soup was $8.50 now its $13.00. Chicken Sate was $7.50 and is now $15.00 (That is DOUBLE). Very disappointed that I will no longer eat at this establishment. read more

Very slow to get food. I called in the order to the store and they told me 20 minutes, when I got to the store, the lady had me pay and then began to make my order. Took another 25 minutes. We definitely have our favorites such as the red curry, Tom ka kah, but I wish the chicken had more flavours, the protein lacks flavour and the texture is dry, instead I get everything veggie base and am happy. Thanks to Elite Yelper Tora M for pointing out this local treasure. Pad Thai and Mango & Sticky Rice were both delicious. My order took a minute to prepare, which was a good sign because the dishes were fresh and hot when I picked them up. Rice Avenue is a tiny restaurant with about three tables if you would like to dine in (one large table set aside for to-go orders.) Rice Avenue seems to have survived the pandemic in style. This is based solely on their customer service as we didn't stay long enough to order. This took place on 08/24/25. This was my 1st time here with my husband. Both of us were super excited to go as it was relatively close to where we just moved. Unfortunately, we will not be returning as our interaction with the lady at the front was very unfriendly. I will preface this that when we entered, the lady at the front was talking with another gentlemen waiting to pick up an order. I'm not sure if she was responding coldly as a result of her interaction with him. Regardless, we entered & we were not sure how to order. Since we had never been there we were confused if we could just sit anywhere or if we needed to wait for someone to direct us. So we just said we were 2 people & the lady responded very rudely with 'ORDER FIRST!' We were surprised by her attitude but then confused bc she didn't exactly point out the menu to us. We found the menu was on a table & started looking. I noticed there was a QR code to order so I just assume that's how I order. As I start scanning the code, the same woman says loudly 'I CAN TAKE YOUR ORDER'. At this point I'm super confused, at no point did she ever explain how the ordering works, plus it's been like 1 minute, I don't know what I want yet. What she should have said when we entered originally was 'hello, here is the menu, go ahead and look at it & let me know when you're ready to order.' That would have made sense but instead she was being snappy & not explaining anything. This interaction alone put me off & we ultimately decided to leave & never come back. This quaint little Thai restaurant in the valley is small but flavorful! Just a few tables for inside seating, but they have a big hearts, excellent customer service and delicious food. The interior is nicely decorated and the service was as I mentioned great. Order a few things off of their lunch menu which was very fairly priced, good portions and delicious. read more

Area is not the best but this is the closest Thai place in my area and has really good food! There's no table service because they're short staffed but you can still eat at one table. The vegetable noodles and yellow curry were so yummy and just hit the spot. The curries come w a side of rice.
