It is so great to have a new Gyro spot! The food was good, and prices decent. It was easy to order online. I had ordered extra pita taking into consideration the meals were pictured with pita so I thought it came with two already. My kids love pita so I thought in total I'd end up with 4 pieces. I was a bit disappointed to only find two. The Gyro platter, and Gyro salad were both very good. I had ordered extra meat on the side, it would have been nice for the sizes of extra meat to have the amount each size was, because I feel the portion I got was on the small side.

Was wondering what restaurant replaced the long-lived googley eyed Magic Dragon and was excited to see it was a place I could get shawarma. We ordered the Arabic Gyro and Chicken Shawarma Plate to go. The service was fast and friendly and there was a place to sit while they put our order together. The gyro was delicious and prepared perfectly- sometimes you get those loose gyros that are ready to drop the goods but not here. I went with the chicken shawarma plate because it's what it get most of the time- similar to another of my favorite spots (Bananas Grill) the rice here is soft and flavorful and the chicken has great flavor. I think next time I'll try the Arabic Chicken Shawarma sandwich and I really need to check out their falafel.

This place is great. The food is delicious, the portions are large, and when I asked for a special something that wasn't quite on the menu they created a plate for me with the items I asked for. So, terrific service too. Prices are reasonable as well. Yay! It has tables but not really a place I'd wanna eat at. Small and brightly lit. Noisy with the kitchen right there. We always take the food home.

Delicious gyros at reasonable prices at this new south end spot. My co-worker had the chicken gyro and i had the lamb & beef gyro. A good proportion of meat to vegetables ratio served on a warm pita. It was a tasty and filling sandwich. I look forward to coming back to try other items on the menu.

Decided to check this new spot out after hearing about it from a neighbor. Pros: portion sizes are generous, they make everything fresh to order and don't skimp on any ingredients. Cons: the gyro meat is fine but not my favorite. The fries were not as crispy as I would've liked. Gyro plate: rice has good seasoning. Large pile of tzatziki sauce, includes a pita on the side. Arabic gyro: a couple bucks more than the regular gyro, but it is huge!! I personally prefer a pita wrap to the tortilla style wrap on this, but the amount of food you get is epic. Gyro fries: loaded with cheese and sauce. The fries were crispy when they first came out but quickly cooled down and got kind of soggy. Maybe could've used a bit more time in the fryer? Tastes like frozen fries but for the price I'm not complaining, very flavorful and you get a ton for $6. Also looks like they transitioned from crinkle fries based on old photos. Dolmas - no complaints, maybe could be under $6 though. TL:DR: solid spot for gyros in the area and will be coming back, looking forward to trying their regular gyro sandwich next time.

Review based solely on their Greek fries and the chill dude working front and back of house. I ordered the fries extra crispy, which I recommend for any sort of loaded fries but anyways yall, these HIT the spot! Overloaded with a mellow garlic sauce, feta cheese, parsley, and a beautiful sprinkling of sumac! Side of hot sauce which was unique from the normal Sambal style chili sauce you find at most gyro spots! I came across this cause I was randomly craving Magic Dragon, which used to be here. I didn't even realize they had closed and was bummed for a sec but this place was good and I'll definitely be back to try their gyros/shawarma/sides!

Who needs Disneyland when you can go to Shawarma Land?!!! It's a party for your taste buds. I had the arabic style gyro sandwich and a side order of falafel. Perfect balance of meat and veg in the sandwich. Falafel could've used maybe another minute in the fryer (it was a little cold in the middle still) but it was crispy and flavorful. That's a minor quibble though. Overall a great meal that made me happy. Service is friendly. Support a small business and reward your stomach at the same time. It's a win-win situation.

    yummy wrap

This is a new place that recently opened. 2 guys were working when I went in and they were very welcoming and friendly. It is a nice clean spot. They have a few tables and chairs. I ordered the beef/lamb shawarma plate which came with humus salad and pita bread. You could barely taste the lamb in the mix and I think it needed a bit more flavor compared to some other places. I would give them another try as I'm sure they will get better as they settle in. I also got the baklava which was really good! I would definitely get that again !

After a 4+ mile walk, I didn't feel like standing in the kitchen to make dinner. I had seen multiple posts on social media raving about Shawarma Land since it was new to the area, and wanted to try it. I ordered the Arabic Gyro online. They were just finishing it as I arrived to pick it up. The space is bright and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and communicative. THE FLAVORS, though! Outstanding!! I couldn't even finish one half, the portion was so generous. Hot tip: they offer a discount if you pay in cash.

I got a build-my-own saj wrap with the mushroom base saj $6, sumac chicken $7, tomato $1.5, cucumber $1.5, pickled turnip $1, and a side of hot sauce $2. The saj bread itself tasted good, but got soaked through by the juice of the chicken and became very soggy. We walked to a park 10 minutes away to eat the wraps and the wraps were bending. The ingredients are fresh but nothing particularly stood out. I didn't quite taste the mushroom on the wrap, and on top of that, I got charged $2 for the hot sauce, but never tasted it in the wrap or found it on the side. My partner got the falafel saj wrap which was overall ddcent, but he also found the saj bread quite soggy, yet the falafels were on the dry side.

The signature saj bread is cooked fresh on a hot stone and is almost like a Middle Eastern flour tortilla with the way it's super thin and satisfyingly chewy bite. The only seating options are a few large benches on the sidewalk, but there's a poster saying you're welcome to sit at the neighboring bar which opens in the late afternoon provided you purchase a drink as well. Ended up sampling 3 of their wrap options and the Zaatar Wrap was deliciously nutty and fragrant, but texturally there was so many herbs that the center ate a little dry. The Lahme Khuruf (Lamb) was my favorite by far with super juicy ground meat with some tang from the labneh, sweetness, freshness from the tomato, and texture from the pine nuts. Absolute home run on this one! The Awarma and Cheese was a close second, but personally, the flavor profile was just a little less interesting than the lamb. Tip: grab some extra napkins as the wraps can fall apart a bit at the end!
