This place was really good! My partner loved his chicken gyro and said it was probably his favorite of the many places we have tried in the city. I think their falafel sandwich was really good and definitely in the top few. There was perhaps too much sauce but everything else was great and generous portions. My partner ate his so quickly I didn't get a pick. The server was very friendly and made sure he was clear on what we wanted. Their food truck is kinda awkwardly tucked next to the laundromat so it's easy to miss if you're coming at it from the Broadway side but things were pretty well packaged for takeout. I've seen Falafelville parked here for a while now, I'm assuming they're permanently stationed in this location for now, and I'm SO glad I checked them out! My order was ready super fast and with such care too. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate with extra meat and truly these portions are so generous! The plate comes with well spice flavorful chicken over a bed of fluffy turmeric rice. On top is drizzled a garlic sauce and more seasonings. Additionally the plate has a serving of hummus, salad, and a warm pita. I can tell their ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The portion for this plate is extremely generous and I definitely have leftovers saved for later! It's definitely more of a takeout place since there aren't really many tables to sit at. It's an unassuming truck in a small parking lot of a dry cleaners, but don't let that fool you. This place is a delicious spot for a fast, fresh, and delicious meal. read more

I wish this place was as good as it sounds in these reviews! I live nearby, and have stopped by a few times for a quick bite; I've never been impressed. The food itself is cheap, but it comes in small portions. The falafel is dry and the shape makes me think it's not homemade, and the gyro meat isn't flavorful, despite being salty Service is inconsistent. Orders placed in person often take far longer than expected (15 min for one gyro, with no one else in line?). I tried ordering online once, and the merchant didn't update the order status, so food was cold when I arrived at the expected pickup time; I later realized they also got my order wrong despite verbally confirming. I'm really not sure what the hype is about. You're better off going a block south to Al Bacha, or four blocks south to Casablanca Express - both open even later, with higher quality. read more

I really wanted to like this spot! It has great reviews on both Google and Yelp and it's right down the street from me but both of my visits were just...okay. First I tried the Arabic chicken shawarma sandwich. It was fine, but it was a little dry and lacked flavor. I wanted to give them another shot so I went back again for the chicken gyro and a piece of baklava. The chicken gyro was the best thing I tried. It looks great in the photo and the sauce and pita were both good, but it's a pretty *light* sandwich. I want my pita STUFFED with a variety of goodies. There wasn't even any feta on it. The texture and taste of the baklava was off like the syrup was too warm when it was poured over the pastry. It was so soaked that it dissolved the crispness the delicate layers should create. I was walking home and on a whim decided to try this new place out and oh wow am I glad I did. The Chicken shawarma plate was fresh, the pita was nice and fluffy and very delicious. I also got a chocolate roll that blew me away. I will be coming back here to try more of the menu and definitely will be getting another chocolate roll. I don't know if it's because it was late at night and I was hungry or what but I ended up really enjoying this place! I ordered a falafel sandwich with a side of fries. I think what really made it for me was the hot sauce. I thought the food was just okay without it but with it??? Amazing! I didn't necessarily love the fries but they did the job at the time. Since this was my first ever time in Seattle, I got to talk to one of the workers on the food truck who was super sweet! It seems like they get a lot of regulars there so when he gets new people, he loves to introduce them to the city! I got a beef and lamb gyro salad, the 32oz. It was more food than I imagined it would be and the 24oz probably would have been sufficient, though I did manage to finish the 32oz. The meat was pretty good. The salad had a lot of a herb in it that I think hurt the overall flavor. From looks, I would have guessed maybe dill, but it didn't taste like dill and had more of a grassy and slightly bitter flavor - I think it might have been stalks from a parsley plant? That herb was featured heavily in the salad. In forkfuls of the salad where I had the salad and meat, it was ok. However, for forkfuls that were just salad and no meat, the flavor of that herb was too powerful. That herb and its flavor taking over forkfuls with no meat is why I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5. I imagine one of the plates instead of salads probably would have been better and 5 stars. read more

My new fav mediterranean spot around cap hill! I usually go for the lamb and beef gyro plate (picture below), it's always tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The portion size is so generous that I usually get two meals out of it. The fresh, crunchy side salad is a great pairing. The owners are incredibly kind and service has always been fast. Picked up a falafel sandwich and fries during a quick lunch. The service was pleasant and fast. My food was not only warm and tasty, but incredibly fresh. Even managed to chow down on the gigantic sandwich without it falling apart on me lol! Pro-tip, dip those tasty fries in the garlic sauce cuz...yum! The location is extremely convenient if you're near Cal Anderson Park, making it a great choice for an impromptu picnic. Will be returning to try out the baklava, for sure! Gotta dock a point for the styrofoam though. There's gotta be a cost-efficient way to provide to-go containers that are friendlier to the environment. read more

Craving a trip to flavor-town? Then make your way to Falafelville! FINALLY a Mediterranean fast-casual place on the northside of Denny Way in Capitol Hill: the bright green food truck is hard to miss behind Rite Aid and the All Seasons Cleaners dry cleaner. Although there may be limited street parking nearby on Broadway E, E Olive Way, and Harvard Ave E: when the dry cleaning business closed at 7pm, it was convenient to park in the drive thru while stopping for a quick bite. Although there is currently limited seating to not obstruct the dry cleaner's drive thru, Cal Anderson Park is a short walk away to enjoy the well-packed food to-go on a summer night. If I were a local living in the neighborhood, I'd walk here daily for lunch/dinner, because it's so convenient! The atmosphere is a bit drab with the surrounding graffiti on the dry cleaner's building, but I'm sure that's out of Falafelville's control. Not only was the food served quickly, hot, and in way-too-generous portions for the price: every bite of the chicken shawarma plate, the beef & lamb kebab, the Greek fries, and their baklava were all chef's kiss delicious! I LOVE that they chop the cucumber/tomato/onions/lettuce small enough to have a little in every bite, where as a most other Med places slice the veggies too big to have a taste in every bite. The cherry on top (or should I say the olive on top...) was the warm & friendly customer service of Raafat, Nabil, and Martina. If only every business had stellar customer service like them, I'd be in Capitol Hill more often! TL;DR: -The food is fresh, hot, and delicious. -The service is excellent and as warm as their pita bread. -The prices are reasonable for their generous portions. -The food truck is located in a convenient location near the light rail station to grab dinner on a walk home from work. read more

Discovered this little food truck tucked in the dry cleaner on Capitol Hill. They were out of certain items - it's was almost 10pm and they were closing, but they were super nice and gave me extra dolmas. I got the lamb and beef gyro plate $14. Super delicious!! I've been waiting for the perfect day to stop by this recent addition to my neighborhood and today was the day. The staff are wonderfully friendly. The Chicken Shawarma Combo was delicious. It comes with a regular fries. The shawarma is delicious, the meat perfectly spiced and the tzatziki was cool and smooth. It was a very large portion and it was mixed well. No bites were noticeably more one thing than another. I was given a garlic sauce to try with my fries "try it, trust me you'll like it!" I did and I do. It was the perfect amount of garlic. I am so happy that such great, somewhat healthy food, is available at such a wide range of hours right next to the light rail--this place is only a few minutes slower than Dick's but serves a completely different set of cravings. Unsurprisingly given the name, the falafel is great here, and I've loved both the classic and Arabic falafel wraps. There's a little covered seating area where they can turn on lights for you at night, but I just take my wraps to go and they hold up well. The guy running the truck is also super friendly and will chat if it's not too busy out. A great spot to try if you want yummy food fast at reasonable prices here. read more

Y'all... I am so ashamed of myself that I have not come to try Falafelville. The gyro fries I had were just ridiculous with how much flavor and texture was packed in there. Crazy good portions and dude hooked me up with a chocolate roll which was delicious too! Also, the guy who served me was super chill dude. Falafelville is my go to spot in Capitol Hill! The food is incredible, the service is great. Folks working there are so kind and knowledgeable about food. The prices are affordable for food in this area, you really can't go wrong. Even though it's just a food truck the area is just fine to come through but you gotta take it to go since there's no seating. I go several times a month at this point and never been disappointed.
