I live close by. I only started coming here because I live close. I went in last Wednesday; set my backpack down, visited with my friends. I picked up my backpack, walked home and woke up with a ton of flea bites. I went back to let the bartender know and he laughed it off. I went back Friday to let staff know and they treated me like I was lying; gave me the 3rd degree, I was shocked! I was so mad, I went home and filed a report with King County Public Health. i thought i had friends there, hell no. I have spent so much $$ here. This place is the place I would go when I lived in the neighborhood. So friendly and their drinks are just as good as it can get. There is the full bar, booths and outside patio seating. The service here is outstanding, my server is funny, friendly and going xtra for my demanding drinks (just xtra dirty and stuffed olives that he stuffed the feta cheese himself for me). This reminds me of some old-school bar where blue collar loggers used to go to. Back in the days before tech monopolies controlled Seattle. The good 'ol days when it was the LOGGING monopolies that controlled much of the PacNW! I have no idea this place is actually that old, but it definitely has a refreshing working-class vibe that so few bars in Seattle possess anymore, especially in this part of town. This is one of my favorite places because it gives me all the feels. It's a haunt. Antique bar, classic cocktails, Rat Pack music flowing, booths, tables, and chairs and sofa by the fireplace and front window, and right now, hints of Christmas everywhere. Our bartender is friendly and knows how to mix drink, and the food is good and available late so that you have time to enjoy your cocktails first. I am sitting in Harry's as I write this, enjoying ten days after my second Pfizer vaccination. Sofia, a young woman is tending bar. She has an old soul, and is taking good care of me in spite of my eccentricity. Marvin Gaye is coming out of the speakers, and I realize how much I missed in the past year. Harry's is a wonderful drinking hole for celebrating life in its gritty relevance. No one judges on a Monday afternoon at 4:00 with "Brick House" forcing my bull dog body to move like a stripper in Newark, New Jersey before gentrification. It's cool on this side of Capitol Hill. My cocktails are fine, but it's not about performance at Harry's. It's about enjoying life, or forgetting life at Harry's. "Here Comes The Sun" just played. My second vaccination is what the Beatles were singing about. At 71, my years are numbered. Places like Harry's are solace and rejuvenating as I gyrate into those sunset years. Late night Italian food with alcohol..... this is the place to be! Everything I have tried here as been on point, heck even their side salad that comes with a main is delicious! My favorite dish has to be the meatball sub with side of Mariana sauce for dipping. Along with the food being delicious the bar is clean and such a nice vibe to be in. It's always pretty full but isn't too loud where you can't hear your friend from the other side of the booth/table. The bar has always been clean and service is always great. My two friends come here regularly but I've never been. They were stoked to introduce me to this neighborhood gem. Our server, Travis, was an absolute delight. Super friendly, helpful, and great service all around. The portions were quite generous and the garlic bread that our entrees came with was obviously an added bonus. I got the half size salad in an attempt to put some produce into my body and it was still a huge helping. The pastas were all creamy, rich, and absolutely indulgent. Best Pepperoni Pizza and an awesome Spanish Coffee in Seattle ! If you dont know now you know. A very cool awesome bar in Cap Hill, lots of locals hang out here . It been around for years. Great food, pizzas , pastas, sandwiches and salads are so fresh. Always order a salad , so fresh and so good. We went to this restaurant on Halloween. It was well decorated and the servers were also wearing costumes. We ordered 8 inch Pizza (Pepperoni, Mushrooms & onions topping) and 3 drinks(Almond Joy, Manhattan & Margarita). I really liked the Almond Joy drink and will visit this place for it. Love how late this place serves food and it's delicious! Great spot to find some cheesy pasta or a solid pizza when the late night cravings hit. It's a pretty chill, no frills bar attached to a restaurant and the staff are very nice. Wasn't too busy late on a Saturday night but not so deserted that you'd have questions. I'm proud to call Harry's my local and I was happy to support them through the Covid-19 ordeal. They did the right thing, following safety protocols, creating airy outdoor spaces that were comfortable even on the bleakest, wettest winter nights, and offering takeout services that were a notch above the rest. Summer 2021 is drawing to a close as I write this and one gets the uneasy feeling that despite vaccinations we might be in for another round of restrictions. If that's the case, I'll still feel confident coming to Harry's. The interior is elegant but unpretentious and the clientele is casual. The vibe is always good and, from the kitchen side of things (Olympia Pizza III and Harry's merged operations in 2010), I tend to lean on my favorite: chicken parmesan over spaghetti with minestrone soup on the side, chased by a tall draft Radeberger. The bar service is quick and dependable. In addition to house specialties, they know how to knock out the classics and this is one of the few places in the neighborhood where one can get a Rusty Nail done to perfection, right down to the lemon twist. Harry's is a community fixture, a classic haunt where you can still expect to see the owner--the actual Harry--working hard to make your experience the best it can be. We have eaten here twice and picked up once. We read about the chicken parmigiana which is why we came. It really is great for several reasons. It's huge so I get 2 meals out of it easily. But it is also a perfect mix of chicken to breading to cheese. It's not greasy and the chicken is tender. Basic spaghetti pasta underneath with a tangy sauce. The chicken parm is just the best comfort food. The garlic bread has been hit or miss for toughness but was a hit last night. I also actually like the minestrone soup and I'm not normally a soup person. I don't think it's homemade but it's a good mixture of ingredients, it's flavorful and the best part it isn't salty. The bar has interesting decorations and a beautiful wood bar with louder music and always great service. The only reason I dropped a star was when we picked up the chicken parm once it was a bit overcooked. It looks like when they cook for to go they cook them in disposable tin plates so maybe they cook faster in those then the normal eat in method. We will try again sometime to see if it was just a bad night. read more

I've been here a few times before but finally decided to review. Dang. The food is really great! Just take a look at some of the photos of the pizzas! I ordered the Chicken Parmesan. It was delicious!! And massive!! I took most of it home and it was delusions the next day! (And later that afternoon ;). I asked if they could put meat sauce on it instead of marinara and hey did...no extra cost! It also came with a massive salad and about half a baguette of garlic bread!
