Thin meat scraps instead of tenderloin kabab advertised.

This place is a joke. Total rip off. Sad because it was better a year ago. I ordered the kebab for $10 and got 4 meat scraps; one was burnt. I won't be returning.

Food is sooo delicious in Shawarma. We enjoyed our chicken, rice with almonds, salad, labneh, kibbe, Mediterranean fries and baklava. Freddy and his staff are great! We are thankful that we found this restaurant.

This spot is good for a quick lunch if you are craving Med food and something healthy. Its a casual spot but it has all the right food on the menu. The owner is a decent guy that will treat you right. I recommend

We came here for lunch before a meeting in the area -- my coworkers and I enjoyed some Mediterranean fare. The restaurant itself is a counter service style order with a drink cooler for water, sodas, and desserts. I ordered the shawarma combo with beef and chicken -- the flavor was OK. Portions were a bit meager. Service was non-existent and not very friendly.

Warning - not middle eastren This is the first time in my life to eat shawarma with curry. It As an arab my sElf this was top worst places i been too. I asked for no lettuce as shawarma should have no lettuce. On the other hand it was rapped with the pitta more than the meat. I advised the owner about the curry and she said well we been here for 14 years and we know what we are doing. I said is that way the store is empty lol Dont do it !!

The lentil soup was remarkably bland and lacked the depth and seasoning that had made it memorable before. The chicken wings were dry and arrived without being tossed in the sauce. I brought the issue to the server's attention after tasting one of the wings and explained that I was a returning customer with very specific expectations of the wings based on my previous experience. His response was a shrug, and the item remained on my bill. I took both the soup and wings home and attempted to rescue them myself--adding vegetables and seasoning to the lentils and air-frying the wings with additional seasoning and sauce. They were considerably better after the intervention. That, unfortunately, was the takeaway: when a restaurant has previously given you something worth returning for, consistency matters. So does acknowledging a guest's feedback when the experience misses the mark. I left disappointed, but perhaps the meal served as a reminder that sometimes the best version is still the one I make at home. The two cold appetizers - hummus and baba ghanoush with pita bread were edible. Disappointed overall.

A truly exceptional dining experience!…read more First, food... Authentic in flavor. We ordered a lot of different things, but what stood out the most was the kibbeh. Just delicious! Second, staff... The owner (I think) is a gem. She's so attentive and kind, and recommends excellent food items. Lastly, the ambiance... It is for real, for real. Vibrantly decorated, enough seating, good music. My only issue was leaving the space smelling like food. Huge pet peeve of mind, but be aware that the kitchen is open to the main dining space and market. If you want to not walk out smelling like the back kitchen, sit outside (but on a cooler day).

There's a little Aladdin lantern at each table, and woven carpets "floating" from the ceiling. Near the entrance there's a wine section, with wines from places you don't often find in the average wine shops. Then there are refrigerated cases for cold mezze, feta cheeses etc, and at the far end some grocery items like beans, coffee, halva (sesame candies so delicious!), nuts, and more. The waitstaff is very nice, we took their recommendations and got a fresh lemonade. Very pretty w lime zest (and herbs?) floating in it, though a bit on the sweet side. I like how they have plenty of vegetarian options. Their baba ganoush is smokey and creamy. And everything is nicely presented, and looks fresh and homemade.

Always make reservations. Quick note $5 Happy about was still going until 6pm at the bar only. We were seated right away and Abby came by and checked on us right away. We all ordered the Spicy Passion and it was delicious. And then one of my friends said the words I'll never forget we have to get the Labneh Za'atar. THIS WAS INCREDIBLE. I will never not order this now. Now we were there for a good time not a long time, so we tried a little bit of everything after that. Zucchini Latkas, Beef Kufta Kebab, Crispy Chicken Schnitzel, and Salmon Skewers. We obviously ordered with our eyes and split the leftovers up. Abby was great she checked on us continuously. All in all, it was fantastic. Now that I've tried Motek, I will 100% be back (and I'll take some pictures next time).

The food did take a little while to come out, but honestly, the freshness, temperature, and overall quality of everything made the wait completely worth it. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and beautifully prepared. For appetizers, we had the tomato salad, which was fresh, light, and truly delicious for something so simple. We also ordered the classic hummus and substituted the usual bread for their house-made naan. And let me tell you... that naan was LIFE CHANGING. The warmth, softness, and flavor made it one of my favorite bites of the entire meal. There's just something about freshly made, warm naan that hits differently! For our entrees, we ordered the beef kofta kebab and the majadra rice. The beef was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor--we actually ended up ordering more because we enjoyed it that much. The majadra rice was equally delicious, hearty, and perfectly seasoned, making it the perfect complement to the kebab. Now for what was probably my favorite part of the entire experience: DESSERT. I ordered the Halvan Silian ice cream, and I was honestly at a loss for words. It was such an indulgent, irresistible treat, and I could NOT get enough of it. I was very pregnant at the time, so maybe the cravings made it even more memorable , but I genuinely spent DAYS afterward craving that ice cream. It was THAT good. My husband ordered the knafeh, which was also delicious, although I have to admit it wasn't my personal favorite compared to that incredible ice cream. I also had the chance to experience Motek's happy hour, and I was genuinely surprised by the variety available on their $5 menu. There was a great selection of bites and cocktails, which makes it easy to see why their happy hour is so popular. My biggest tip? GET THERE EARLY and grab your spot because people definitely take advantage of those $5 cocktails and bites! The ambiance at Motek is welcoming, lively, and casual without feeling too laid-back. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a nice meal, grab drinks with friends, or have a relaxed date night. The overall experience felt warm and inviting from beginning to end. Overall, my first experience at Motek left a lasting impression, and I can honestly say I've been looking forward to coming back ever since. Between the fresh food, incredible naan, unforgettable dessert, and fun happy hour, there's plenty here to keep me coming back. I can't wait for my next visit!

The poor waiter was completely alone, seating people, taking orders, and bringing out the food! Still, he was able to take care of everyone (6 tables) and the service never suffered! For our appetizer we both ordered the ceasar salad. I loved mine! It was clearly a homemade dressing. The croutons were also homemade. One of the best ceasar salads I've ever had. My friend doesn't like anchovies so she only took a couple of bites. The only other appetizer available on the MS menu was fried mozzarella. Our waiter brought out some focaccia bread and put some olive oil and vinegar on a plate for us. For my entree I ordered the Chicken Farcito. It's a chicken breast topped with fresh spinach and mozzarella melted on top. That's set on mashed potatoes and then it's covered in a Jack Daniel's cream sauce. It was AH-MAZING! Sooooooo good!!!! But I was full about halfway through. My friend ordered the Linguine tre funghi. I tried it and it was VERY GOOD! I would have ordered that, if I didn't order the chicken. She loved it too. It was very flavorful. It looked like a small portion, but she was also full halfway through her meal. We had both ordered the ricotta and pistachio cake for our desserts. We got them and our leftovers to go. My dessert melted in the car, so I don't have a picture of it. It was delicious though! I had never heard of this restaurant before seeing it on the Miami Spice list. I'm so glad that they're participating in MS. Otherwise I would have never tried it. I love this restaurant! The service, the food, the ambiance. Everything is great! I look forward to returning again soon.
