I love this place. I'm not even crazy about salads like that but they're greek salad is so delicious and flavorful. My go to is either the chicken tandoori or the gyro platter. I love their rice and their greek fries are also super good. I've never dined in at these times but i know certain nights they have a belly dancer. The prices are not bad at all either, I love doing take out with them because they don't skimp out on the portions. Always consistent and delicious!
Came here for a birthday. The decor is nice and gives Mediterranean vibes. The belly dancer is a nice touch and creates a celebratory mood. The servers are accommodating and took good care of us. We ordered some sampler dishes, the octopus and one of the mix grill platters. Portions are a good size so you won't walk away hungry. As for the quality of the food, I would say it's good but not outstanding. Nothing stood out as being memorable but at the same time it wasn't bad. This is a good place for a date or an occasion. Indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking.
I love me some Greek food and Sufrat did not disappoint. I had a hard time deciding what to eat but ended up with the chicken shawarma platter. The chicken was so flavorful and juicy, and can we talk about these fries?? Perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and honestly could've been a meal on their own. Stopped by Sufrat in Pembroke Pines for lunch and had a really solid meal from their lunch menu. We ordered the chicken kebab and a gyro lamb bowl, along with the four-dip sampler featuring hummus, baba ghanouj, and two additional dips. Everything came out fresh, well-portioned, and nicely presented. The chicken kebab was tender and juicy with a nice char on the outside that gave it extra flavor without drying it out. It paired really well with the rice and sides, which were fluffy and well-seasoned. The gyro lamb bowl was just as satisfying savory, rich, and well-balanced. The lamb had that classic spiced flavor and was soft without being greasy, and the bowl came together nicely with the toppings and sauces. The dip sampler was a highlight on its own. The hummus was smooth and creamy with a clean garlic-tahini balance, while the baba ghanouj had a nice smoky depth that made it stand out. The additional dips rounded things out with different textures and flavors, making it a great starter to share. Overall, Sufrat delivered a fresh, flavorful lunch with generous portions and solid consistency across the board. A great spot in Pembroke Pines if you're in the mood for Mediterranean comfort food done right.
Went for happy hour. The food was hit or miss on some things. Hummus missing some flavor and pasty. Gyro chicken sandwich was good. Fries not so good. Drinks were poorly mixed, mostly just mixer. Service was attentive but not too friendly. Plenty of seating inside and out. Nice decor.
Never fails to impress on each visit. The the Sufrat combo is a must have that can easily feed 6-8 people. Love the weekend vibe with their belly dancer show. Service is always great on each visit.
I've always ordered take out but this time we dined in. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The service is 10/10. Someone is always walking around to refill water, take dishes off the table and always asking how is everything. Such a pleasant experience! Now the foooood. 100/10! We started with the surfrat dip sampler and I was in literal heaven, everything tasted delicious. My favorite thing. My son got the kids grilled chicken and rice - the chicken was perfect and he was so happy. My husband got the gyro lamb sandwhich and he said it tasted good! And I got the gyro platter with Greek fries and yellow rice - such a good portion and was able to take home for lunch the next day. The white sangria was yummy as well. With all the dip we had they only gave us a small basket of bread and when we asked for another I didn't know they'd charge us $1 for it - it was never said by our server.. but it's okay. Just wish it was clarified. Overall a good experience.
I had a really good time at Sufrat. The food was something else, every dish felt like a trip through the Mediterranean, the kind of meal where you forget you're even in Miami. Started off with the drinks, really refreshing. I tried lamb for the first time and honestly I don't know why I waited so long, it was really good. And the baklava for dessert? Insane. The coffee was on point too, finished the whole meal perfectly. We came as a party of 12 and the staff handled us like it was nothing. Our server David was great but honestly the whole team was on point. Kept the table clean, kept everything running smooth the whole time. The entire experience just took you somewhere else. Definitely going back.
I have been to the doral location. This location is not upto par as the Doral location. The food was lacking flavor. The chicken kabab was tasty. The tabouleh was good. Overall the portions were small. On Friday there is a belly dancer. The service is good . The vibe is casual nice . I am willing to give it another chance .
Came here during Father's Day & had a pretty decent meal. Everything was fresh & delicious. It was my husband's first time & he was also pretty satisfied with the meal. Only hiccups were that even with reservations we had a wait (& it was a hot day outside) of about 20 mins. Our waiter took our order & then we never saw him again until the bill was ready to be paid (thankful for his accommodating coworkers who brought the food, filled our water glasses & provided us with the extra pita order even though it was too late). Sadly the extra charges for the garlic sauce & tzatziki that didn't arrive with the fries was unfortunate but we didn't fight it. Wasn't worth the hassle. However it was a holiday so I will return again soon on a normal day to see how it flows.
Located in a business mall at the SW corner of Pines Boulevard and SW 103rd Street, there is plenty of parking for Sufrat Mediterranean Grill, which sits in the middle of a traffic circle. There is indoor and outdoor seating in the modern-style eatery lined with floral decorations. We saw our server, Ali, about three times during the 90 minutes we ate there. He took our order; checked in once; never brought us water, though he twice promised he would; and brought our check. He was pleasant but seemed distracted and it was difficult understanding him because of an extremely thick accent. We had our food brought by another person, and a female server helped when we asked for dessert. A helper, who was clearing the tables, brought us lemons, water, and ice after we asked for the items on two separate occasions. Give that young man, James, a raise. (Though I was told it was his first day.) Now to the food. We had the grape leaves, which was served warm (good). It had lots of rice but barely any sprinkling of meat, and we had to ask for some lemons to add the juice to the appetizer. For lunch we had the gyro sandwich and the gyro platter. Both came with a Greek salad. The platter also came with rice. Hubby prefers his gyro meat cut thinner on his sandwich. But it had the same thickness as the meat on my platter. Either way, it was flavorful and incredibly moist. My lunch platter was large enough to serve for my lunch and dinner. But that's probably because we did have an appetizer and couldn't resist sharing a slice of pistachio ricotta for dessert. (Hubby had no problem finishing his entire sandwich at lunch.) One appetizer, two lunch meals, one dessert, tax, and tip was $50. We plan to return to take advantage of the incredible lunch specials and to try something different.
I have ordered from this restaurant via Uber Eats around 4-5 times but I decided to try it in person. The place is smaller than I thought but it has tables inside and out. It is very busy and now I know why. The food tastes even better in person. Service was excellent and I would definitely recommend. I had the Sufrat Mix Grill Platter because I needed to try it all. Sooo worth it!

I was craving Mediterranean food, and I went here on a whim because I had seen the sign and I love Mediterranean food. I was really impressed by the presentation and the service. The food was phenomenal as well. We started with hummus that was served with a nice amount of pita bread. It was rich and creamy and balanced nicely with the olive oil drizzled in the center. I ordered the Mojito, which was delicious and refreshing on a hot Florida day. As my main dish, I ordered the beef platter with my sides of Greek salad and Angel rice. I was very impressed with the tenderness of the beef and the flavor of everything. We ended the afternoon with baklava. I enjoyed the flaky texture and crunch of the pistachios. It's Sunday afternoon, it's raining hard so I ordered for delivery. Got it in less than 30 minutes. I ordered for my parents and myself the following: -Greek Salad with grilled chicken, -chicken shawarma platter angel hair rice - Gyro platter with yellow rice. Also ordered a side of baba ghanouge (eggplant dip)and pita bread. Mom couldn't stop raving about how delicious everything was. The portions were plenty. This place is always a hit. My wife and I celebrated our 19th anniversary here at Sufrat and what an excellent time. Ali was an amazing help for us, very attentive, very helpful, and fun for our experience. Update. What a disappointment the second time i tried this place. This time I went with the chicken shwarma platter withh fries and a greek salad and the slice of chocolate cake for dessert. If I didn't know any better.All this food tastes like leftovers from the night before tmThe chicken was dry.The salad was wilted and discolored, and the cake was also dry.On the other hand the fries were seasoned and cooked perfectly....... Delivery order arrived well packaged. Everything I ordered was super fresh and delicious. The gyro meat was tender and juicy. I only wish they would give a little more tzakiki for that amount of meat.The rice pilaf was light and fluffy with a nice crunch from the almonds. This was my second visit here, and once again--it did not disappoint. This time I brought my fiancé for his first visit, and let's just say... he's officially a fan. Mission accomplished. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and since the weather was behaving itself, we grabbed a table outside. Great vibes, great atmosphere, and even better hospitality. We kicked things off with the grilled octopus (tender, flavorful, no wrestling involved) plus hummus and pita that could've been a meal all by itself. For my main event, I went with the lamb chops and rice--absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. My man ordered the gyro platter, which he loved, and a lamb sandwich that was basically a burrito in disguise... and not a crumb survived. Dessert? Nope. Our eyes were ambitious, but our stomachs waved the white flag. Overall: amazing food, great service, happy bellies. We'll definitely be back--maybe next time with stretchier pants. read more

Now the experience was great. The drinks were refreshing and delicious. Each platter pictured was chefs kiss down to the salad. You ate getting your moneys worth with the portion sizes. Had a fantastic mediterranean dinner last night at Sufrat located in Pembroke Pines. Vibrant ambience with beautiful belly dancer as entertainment. The belly dancer show is usually on Thursdays and Saturdays. Cozy, warm and welcoming restaurant with a Middle Eastern touch. Lovely elegant hanging ceiling lamps and earth/wood vibes through out the restaurant. Beautiful tile work on the walls for a nice focal point. Really inviting atmosphere. The food was great. For appetizers we had the sampler platter with falafel, kibbeh croquettes, hummus, stuffed grape leaves and baba ghanauge roasted egg plant dip with pita bread was so delicious. The lamb chops were incredibly flavorful and tender. The veggies were equally tasty and so was the rice. Perfect dish for an excellent dinner! This spot is a bit small but I hear the one in Doral is more spacious and al fresco patio is nicer. Despite being a smaller spot, I noticed they were hosting a large group for a birthday celebration. They can easily accommodate a large group of about 15 people. Well organized. Staff was friendly and efficient. Will definitely come back. read more

I had such high hopes. I picked this place based on Yelp reviews. I ordered the Sufrat Dips Sampler which consisted of Muhammara, Hummus, Baba Ghanouge, and Labneh. I enjoyed the Muhammara and Baba Ghanouge. The Muhammara was slightly sweet, but flavorful. And I enjoyed the smokey flavor of the Baba Ghanouge. The hummus was not bad, but I've had better at other spots. Labneh is basically Greek yogurt. I make Greek yogurt at home. I could've picked something else. But it's OK. Overall, that appetizer was fine. I also ordered the Falafel Bowl from the lunch menu with rice and salad. The falafel was such a disappointment. It had none of the flavor that I'm accustomed to from falafels. I combined them with the dips to try to make them taste better. It didn't help much. I forced myself to get through that meal and still didn't finish it. We had outdoor seats, so I didn't get to see inside the restaurant. But the overall atmosphere is pretty casual. I will say that the service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive, checking on us frequently. She also offered us dessert, but I'd had enough. The prices are very reasonable. Tea, appetizer, and two lunches came up to ~$55. If you love Middle Eastern food like I do, I think you'll be disappointed. read more

Had a wonderful experience with my family at Sufrat mediterranean Grill. From the moment we walked up to the restaurant we were in love with how pretty the restaurant was with flowers around the outdoor seating area, and as we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess and also just love the inside of the restaurant with all the flowers, and nice decorative lights. We ordered an assortment of foods to try. We got the hummus. It was absolutely delicious was so creamy and had a nice olive oil pool on top of it with flatbread. Next, we tried the grape leaves vegetarian style one and they were so creamy inside. I love them. I think they're one of the best I've had in a while. We also got the falafel very very good. Definitely recommend it. And then entrée my husband got a nice Mediterranean salad. He loved it had so much toppings on top, including feta cheese, olives, and assortment of vegetables. I got the chicken. Shawarma was so good so flavorful. Had a nice little crispiness in the corners of the chicken really seasoned well and juicy. Love the sautéed vegetables you get two sides I chose that and also the angel hair rice so delicious. Most of us got the Shawarma and everyone loved it. The server was very friendly and very helpful to all our needs. We will definitely be back. It's definitely gonna be a new staple with our family. read more

Ordered takeout for dinner after an event I attended next door. Some friends recommended the beef shawarma, baba ghanouge, and hummus so that's what I ordered. Hostess taking my order said it would be 5mins, took about 15. Inside was packed. They have live entertainment I got to glimpse while awaiting my order outside. That was fun. But, very loud. Order did not come with plastic utensils. I suppose this is traditionally eaten by scooping the dips up with the pita. Which is what I did! The hummus was nothing to write home about. But, the baba ghanouge was out of this world. I've never tasted anything like it before. I will say I thought they gave me the wrong order at first because I know eggplant to look differently. Lol. But, I was assured it was correct. The beef shawarma was also very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I didn't care for how loud the restaurant itself was. But, I think it was just to get the crowd hype for the belly dancer. I sat outside to sample my food and take pics of it and the volume of the music went to a normal level once she finished her show. So I don't think it's that loud usually. I'll definitely be back for more of this tasty food! Glad I listened to my friends. read more
I had such a great experience at Surat Mediterranean Grill! I ordered the chicken shawarma with angel rice and a Greek salad, and everything was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the angel rice paired with it so well. The Greek salad was fresh and crisp with just the right amount of dressing. I also tried the falafel and hummus and both were amazing! The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the hummus was smooth and full of flavor. To top it off, I had the baklava for dessert and it was so good, sweet, flaky, and the perfect ending to the meal. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The location is small but has tables inside and outside. Parking was easy and it is closer to park in the back. The staff were friendly and nice and the food quality and price were a great option. I had a gyro platter which I enjoyed and the Greek fries option was the best I have had in the area. read more
If you like Mediterranean food, you should check this place out! Fiancé and I ordered takeout after leaving the gym and omg it was soooo good!! We ordered the Dip Sampler -- Baba Ghanouge - excellent! ; Hummus - creamy and not over salted ; Muhammara - my favorite it is slightly sweet, savory and just a little spicy ; and the Tzatziki dip - cool, creamy, balanced) It doesn't show the dip sampler online, but it was available at the restaurant. I LOVED my chicken shawarma sandwich with gyro bread. Chicken was tender, romaine was crunchy, the pickles added just enough saltiness and the portion was huge! Fiancé had the Gyro Lamb sandwich. Here we are for lunch, and it was sooo worth it! Sugarbear was our server and he was awesome. He was engaging, informative, and funny. Pictures just don't do the food justice. The flavors are all delicious,the mixed platter consists of lamb, steak and chicken with grilled veggies, man o man! Add the Greek salad and you are set! The gyro chicken sandwich is great, the chicken is juicy, large portions all around. This is definitely a goto spot.! read more

Love this place. Went with 4 friends to celebrate a Birthday. If you like grilled octopus, it's good here. I had chicken shawarma, my friend had Shrimp . They also had warned vegetarian grape leaves. Which were good This is my second time coming back .. the waiters weren't hospitable at first . But on our way out he was my personable . But I guess on which waiter you get. We came here for lunch and we loved it. The interior was nicely decorated with a big azalea flower plant inside. It has mix of nice table and booth seatings. The service was very attentive as well. I had the lamb entree and my husband had the gyro wrap lunch entree. It was both very delicious. We will be back! Absolute YES! THE PLACE: Located in a shopping center in Pembroke Pines, plenty of free parking is available. Sufrat was seating both inside and out. While the space is relatively small, they maximized it and decorated it beautifully. THE FOOD: Outstanding, so fresh and flavorful! For app, we ordered the Sufrat sampler which was enough for the four of us. Tasty and allowed us to try different bites. For entrees, I had the delight mix (previous called the Jerusalem mix) with angel hair rice and tabbouleh, 5/5, my husband had chicken kebabs with angel hair rice and greek fries 5/5, my mom had skirt steak, yellow rice and greek salad 5/5, and my father had the "Mediterranean" with angel hair rice and greek salad, while the chicken breast was generous and thick, it was overcooked and dry as the desert! WE did tell our waiter and she offered some sauces which help combat the dryness, but 2/5, would skip with dish. For dessert, we went with Baklava - honestly, I wasnt going to order or try it becaue every time I've had baklava ive hated it, always too flaky, dry or nutty, BUT THIS ONE, WOW! very sweet, but also so good! The food and drinks here are delicious! I had the octopus and the Lebanese Paradise (drink), and they were both delicious. The drink was sweet, but that's how I enjoy my cocktails. My friend had the lamb, and she loved it. We came here because she wanted to have it again. I also took some Turkish baklava home, and I had it with vanilla ice cream and loved it!! It was delicious. The space is a bit cramped. It's not that large of a space, and we were seated by the front door with a table right next to us. However, once my friend and I started talking, I didn't mind it as much as the place is beautifully decorated. However, they did lose me when they started playing music very loud for a belly dance performance. It seemed a bit unnecessary because it was Thursday at 7 PM in Pembroke Pines. My friend and I ended up leaving and sitting at another spot to continue talking. Our server (Ali) was super nice and attentive. I would come back just earlier to avoid the loud music. Came here with my aunt for a late dinner, very cozy and beautiful place. It was a little busy but as we could tell it's very popular. We were seated and greeted quickly, very nice hostess. The waiter she was also very kind and took her time with us. The other employees also helped check on us as well so for the service it was great and I hope they never change their kindness and to help eachother. Food. Delicious and flavorful!!! So many options and prices were very affordable. I can't even describe but honestly both of our entrees were Delicious and the appetizer. Not one food item disappointed us. What I did like as well was the food is halal. They do offer drinks and hookah. I believe at 9pm or close to that time I did see a belly dancer coming. read more

Last night we had an amazing experience as we have had on previous visits for only one exception. After visiting last night we noticed the difference in the service and the servers demeanor was superb. Drinks perfect Entrées perfect No appetizer this visit. Enjoy all! Cheers!!! read more
