We're always on the lookout for healthier options (especially gluten-free for my husband), and this place delivered. We tried the quinoa pizza with mushrooms -- you can choose three toppings, but my husband kept it simple with just mushrooms. The flavors were on point and absolutely delicious. Our only wish was that the crust had been a bit crispier, more cracker-like. It was a little soggy on the bottom, but the taste was still great. We also ordered the chicken double burger and the turkey double burger. Both came with caramelized onions, mushrooms, and arugula -- so flavorful and satisfying! They're served without a bun, and you get to choose two sides. I had the sweet potato purée and veggies, and both were delicious. Everything felt fresh, hearty, and filling without being heavy. For dessert, we had the gluten-free carrot cake made with almond flour -- super moist, the perfect touch of cinnamon, and not overly sweet. Such a great ending to the meal! The food was wonderful--simple yet delicious and incredibly fresh. I had read some mixed reviews but our our experience was pleasantly positive as everything was served promptly and made just for us. We savored a refreshing green juice crafted right before our eyes, not taken from a container. The prices were astonishingly reasonable for such high-quality food and drinks! I love this place. Delicious healthy food at a good price; I recently moved to Kendall and this has become one of my favorite spots whenever I'm not feeling like making lunch. I normally get lentil soup or the chia tequeños for appetizer or a quick snack. Recently I tried the Nebraska burger with salmon and it's delicious, they use portobello instead of bread and comes with 2 sides, I took mashed plantain and vegetables to keep it low carb, all ingredients were fresh and flavors on point! At Freshty, you eat fresh. There are a handful of food options at this food complex, and I was glad that I definitely visited this place. Everything tasted light and healthy exactly what I wanted. The only thing that could have been approved out of the food options I tried is the sweet potato purée. It could have some extra flavor added- maybe some cinnamon. The zucchini pasta with pesto and chicken was on point. The homemade chips are a good side dish. The service here was also friendly and welcoming. I would try here again. I have to say the food is fresh and guilty free. You don't feel like you're depriving yourself from having the food you love, but made out of healthy ingredients. I'll definitely go back, but I'll order for take out. The staffs' attentiveness when dining in needs some improvement. They didn't refill my water, which luckily I had a bottled water with me so I refilled it myself. They didn't ask me if I wanted anything else like dessert or coffee. I went up to the counter to order and when I finished eating I went back to the counter to pay. I found out later when dining in guests take their seats while the waiter comes to take your order but if you don't know you would think it's one of those do it yourself establishments. I haven't seen the location in person, since I ordered through Postmates, but I really was not impressed with the food. I was craving something light and refreshing, nothing oily, greasy, or salty. This place had good reviews on yelp, and the food pictures looked yummy, so I chose to order from here. After reviewing the menu, I decided on the Chicken Arepa with Avocado. Pictures of this dish looked great, and I love avocado! I chose the quinoa dough for the arepa which I thought was a great concept that you can choose between different doughs. To drink, I went with the signature Energy Route 66, consisting of pineapple, celery, green apple, orange juice, and ginger. I did switch out the orange juice for spinach instead. The prices are pretty steep, but I had a credit on Postmates that I wanted to use. Also, healthy food options tend to be pricey in general, so I figured that's just the way it is. However, had I known that the Chicken Avocado Arepa would be more than mediocre, I would not have spent the money. The chicken tasted like chicken of the sea from the can. There was no flavor, nothing. It was so bland. And the arepa itself was also flavorless. I ended up throwing it away. The juice wasn't bad, it tasted fresh and light, but I didn't taste any ginger in it, and I love ginger so that was pretty disappointing. All in all, I really wasn't pleased, and won't bother trying them again. I would rather spend my money elsewhere. read more
