No wasted time and she made us look great in every photo! David was so slick with the camera work as well, half the time we didn't even know he was there! Kim did an amazing job editing our highlight video and really captured all the details in 3 minutes. He synced it well with the music we chose too (Birds of a Feather by Billie Eilish). I chose Anne and Dave as the videographers for my March 2023 wedding for two main reasons: (1) they…read moreoffered a video package that I wanted, that few others did, and at a reasonable price. It was really important to me to have a copy of the raw footage from my wedding, because I knew I was going to be too busy to remember the ceremony and the toasts, and all those other important moments. Anne and Dave offered a package that included this footage, and at a reasonable price. The other videographer I had found who offered this was charging an exorbitant amount. (2) I spoke with Anne before hiring her, and I really liked her. She responded to my email inquiry very quickly. When we talked about their packages, she gave me her honest opinion--that, for what I was looking for, one of their cheaper packages would be sufficient. She could have tried to upsell me, but the fact that she didn't showed me that she has integrity. I also just really liked her energy when I spoke with her. She seemed really earnest, cheerful, and supportive. I'm so pleased with the work that Anne and Dave did. They arrived early to the venue and worked nonstop until after the first dance. Our photographer seemed to enjoy working with them, to the extent that I thought they were already friends (but they'd all just met that day). Anne and Dave both had good suggestions for certain shots they wanted, and even recommended some shots to the photographer. Lastly, there was a point before the ceremony where I was extremely stressed and frustrated, and Anne came over under the guise of fixing my necklace, but I think she was also trying to help me take deep breaths. She wasn't being condescending or anything, it was just a natural extension of her calm energy. That moment helped ground me, and helped me feel like I had someone supporting me. I could cry just thinking about it, because she knew what I needed in the moment. We received our highlight video less than 2 months after the wedding, and it's so cute! I'm excited to go through the raw footage next. This experience has been 100% positive.

Due to COVID we did have to reschedule for an unexpected time, and the company was very flexible. We had our photos taken in July with Frank, Annie, and Ethan. They were very professional, and kind. Frank (the photographer) really has an eye for the way the natural light works in every setting. You can really tell he loves his job. Annie was the make up artist, and help me select a dress. She was so sweet! Ethan was the photographer assistant and he was joyful to work with. There is a slight language barrier, they spoke Chinese but everything was communicated well. After watching every single video posted on their website, which were all beautifully shot, my husband and I were convinced ESC media would best capture the essence of our love and our wedding day. Just wow! In the first day the video was sent to us, we watched it 50 times and I watched it at least 10 times a day for the rest of that month and now at least once a month! During our first meeting, Eric disclosed to us that his colleague, Jason, will be shooting our wedding. We felt very comfortable talking to Eric and also received alot of good advice from him. He even sent us some example timelines to help us plan before we even decided to book him. He was a valuable resource in the planning process and really made sure that we felt comfortable. We met with Jason a few weeks later and really clicked. We talked about key shots and footage and felt like they really understood what we wanted to capture. On the day of the wedding Jason and Grace were so supportive and helpful-offering extra sets of hands to prepare for the ceremony and reception and keeping me kinda calm when I was overwhelmed by all the coordination to be done. They were patient and immersed in the days events without seeming obstructive or intrusive. We are eternally grateful for all the magic and love you guys captured on our special day and the way it was retold through the highlight video. We had our wedding this past July 2018. Shawn was referred to us by the photographer we hired for our wedding. Seeing that he had background as a videographer in the movie-making industry, we knew from the get-go that Shawn knows how to make movie-like highlights, which is what we wanted for our highlight film. On the day of our wedding, Shawn came on time and boy did he bring in the big guns. His equipment is definitely something that is used for movies. What I loved about Shawn is that, he knew what shots to take and which angle to take them from. He's like a director who's directing a movie, and he made us feel like the actors. I also loved how he would show us some of the shots after he would take them right on the spot. He would talk us through and explain to us what he's trying to go for. He's not just going to mindlessly take a video of your special day. You can tell, he's trying to create a story. I appreciate Shawn's work for us that day especially because he went above and beyond his duty. Because, we're a young couple, we didn't have the budget to hire them for the entire day. But Shawn read the situation and knew that the party was still well on its way at the time of when the contract was supposed to end and he opted to stay for an extra hour just so he could get the extra shots. All throughout the day, Shawn worked hard to make sure the special moments were captured. And it showed in the end product. Shawn's highlight film of our wedding was amazing! We were speechless. This guy should be directing his own movie. From the hotel, to the church, to the park, and to the reception, he was able to create a highlight of the entire day and make it into our own special movie. This is where Shawn went above and beyond again. He turned our contracted 4 minute highlight - into a 6 minute highlight! And..he delivered it in under 30 days! Shawn was our videographer for our wedding at the end of 2020. With Covid running rampant everywhere, we were lucky to have him film it as we weren't sure what to expect with how things were going at the time and everything being shut down. He was on time bright and early (12pm wedding, I know, very not normal) and was extremely accommodating to our needs, making sure he was there to film the bridesmaids and groomsmen getting ready in the morning before the wedding. If we wanted a shot of something particular, he would shoot it. Our wedding itself was done outdoors of the Church, very unconventional, but with what was going on, it was the only option we had. Shawn did an amazing job capturing the ceremony and all those little moments throughout. He kept everything very professional, wore a mask, and had some awesome ideas for shots that we never would have thought of, especially working with what we had available to us. Our edited film came out great and the time watching it just flies by; you don't even notice how long you've been watching. He was very kind and professional --- he actually arrived 15min earlier than the call time. He has a warm personality and that helped me relaxed a bit more during my wedding day. He was very focused on his work, always ready to capture all the special moments of our big day. We really loved the highlight video he did for us. Our package was just for a 4-min highlight video but he made it 6min since he wanted to make sure that all the special moments are included in the vid. He arrived early on the day of the wedding and was incredibly easy to work with. Shawn has an amazing personality, so kind and friendly! He really made our wedding a wonderful experience. Shawn also made everyone feel comfortable being in front of a camera with his great communication skills. He is very detailed and let me tell you it shows! Shawn is absolutely amazing! He's very professional and friendly. This guy is the real deal! He shot my wedding and did an exceptional job. Right from the beginning he was one hour early than what was agreed upon. His equipment is top notch too! He brought with him a Hollywood style camera (Red Epic Dragon) along with two other cameras to capture all the moments, not a simple DSLR like other guys do. During the ceremony and reception everything went as expected. He even stayed an extra hour! All of his work was done in a timely manner and he would constantly send me updates during the process. Shawn was amazing! I got married back in April and he was fantastic to work with from the beginning. We emailed back and fourth and spoke on the phone several times prior to the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page and our expectations were met. On the day of the event he arrived early and made sure to bring extra equipment to make sure every moment was captured. All of our guests had fun working with him and kept asking for his info so he can do their future events! About 2-3 weeks before our wedding, we decided we wanted a videographer for our wedding. We connected with our photographer, who was able to book Shawn for us. Shawn was available and responsive right away- even on such short notice and really worked with us to understand what we wanted- he was very accommodating. During our wedding, I don't even remember seeing Shawn - which, in this context, was a good thing because it means he placed himself in ways that didn't obstruct or take away from the wedding activities. Keep in mind…read morethat 4 stars is still REALLY GOOD! :) Let's start on a positive note: -Greg and his second shooter arrived on time and immediately went to work. -They were very professional and captured many memorable moments. -They were respectful of our culture and did not "get in the way" while doing their job. -Greg and his second shooter did not give us any stress and were really easy going. -He directed us on what we can do without making the moments seem cheesy. -He took into account the songs I wanted in the film and used 3 songs I requested. -I believe they stayed past their contracted time and got a few good dancing shots. Onto some constructive criticisms: -I wish my film had some more creativity put into it. It was pretty much a summary of our wedding day in a nutshell. Some parts were chunky and a little "textbook." I was initially sold on the previous works their team did, and felt mine was a little bland in comparison. In hindsight and with fairness, I should've spent some more time during my wedding preparations to clearly communicate with them what I envisioned in our wedding film. I also had to e-mail to ask about the delivery of our end product. The response I received made me feel like they were rushing to meet the deadline and possibly waited last minute to work on it. Final thoughts: I would definitely recommend Greg of Fiske Film to capture your next big events. Our friends from Maryland who couldn't make it to our wedding and saw the video said it was very beautiful and touching. I guess I just had greater expectations based on other wedding films I've seen that they produced.
