I just recently moved here and was so excited to see a pho spot. It was the same as Pittsburgh pho! I was so relieved to have such amazing food here! I had surgery about a month ago and they were very accommodating. I asked for no noodles and only broth and she suggested steamed veggies in it's place. We stopped on a whim while stopping through town-- The pho was fantastic. Amazing. I wish I was back in this town to have another bowl.. My mom ranted and raved about the honey chicken, which came with a honey garlic sauce she said she'd been looking for for years! The service was amazing. My initial assumption when I was picking this restaurant was it would be another Asian restaurant with Asian food and Asian decor which is the reason I chose it. After arriving I noticed it looks more like an American diner. They served food without chopsticks, instead they gave forks and spoons. Could be since it's in a rural part of Oklahoma, but it just gives an unsettling feeling. We ordered the pork dumplings(gyoza) and it was a good dish. Took off a star only because I didn't like the hot and sour soup and when the chef came out to check on us he made it awkward when he noticed I didn't finish it and asked if i didn't like it. I used to buy Rare Beef Pho at least 2 times a week. For the last couple of months it seems that they have switched to a new broth. I'm not sure if they are substituting chicken for beef but why fix something that's not broke. The beef bone broth was to die for. From what I understand it is a painstaking process to prepare. They are very busy so maybe they are just trying to keep up with demand????? I still stop in on occasion and see if they have switched it back yet. read more

First time ever going or trying Pho my girlfriend took me. She enjoyed the Spring Rolls and they looked good finally got our food. She got the Rare beef pho 5 minutes into eating our meal she spits it out. She points out the cockroach in the soup. When telling the manager I just got asked "What do you want to do?" If you like Pho this is the place. But that is not all you can get here! Sushi, as well as other Asian inspired dishes are readily available, and they are good. The place is not fancy, but it is clean. Affordable pricing and service is very good. The four stars is due to the fact that they offer several dishes on the menu that state "mushrooms" as a part of the dish, but they no longer carry mushrooms as a part of their inventory. That was a disappointment when ordering the steak dish that was selected due to the listing of mushrooms. Absolutely not a deal breaker and this place is a must visit in Shawnee. read more
