He was also flexible in additional requests we had along the way (like asking for a final glossy coat to finish the wood floors). I was originally going to replace carpet with LVP but found wood floors under the carpet! We chose to have the wood floors refinished and stained and they turned out fantastic! It looks like a completely new space. The job was scheduled within a few days and was completed on schedule. Included (for a fee) in the quote was assistance putting furniture back in the room which was helpful. I'd contact Antoine again for future flooring needs.

Owner Virginia responded to my inquiry/request within minutes of submittal to discuss a flooring project at my mother's home. The following day she visited my mother at her house with samples and an abundance of advice on new carpet and lvp flooring. I had also hired a painted for my mother's home at the same time which turned out to be a disaster. It wasn't until Virginia met with mom that I realized Wilson Flooring handles painting projects as well. WHAT A RELIEF!! Virginia and team coordinated the take over of the painting project, as well as carpet removal and install, ceramic tile demo and install of lvp flooring throughout the home. Virginia remained in constant communication with myself and my mother as I live out of town and could not be physically present. I did not sign off on the installation because the stair carpeting was not completed properly. The carpet on the stairs does not adequately cover the width of the steps, leaving the sides exposed and unfinished in appearance. There are also exposed nails on the stairs, creating both a safety concern and an unacceptable finish. In addition, there is no transition piece at the bottom of the stairs where the carpet meets the lower floor, leaving an unsightly gap. At the top of the stairs, quarter-round molding was installed over the transition area, which has created another visible gap. I was also disappointed with the installers' handling of my property. Although I specifically requested that protective material be placed under their workboxes, none was used. They also placed a silk ottoman outside without any protection underneath it. Throughout the installation, they appeared to show little care for my furnishings and home. Additionally, the salesperson, Aaron, stated that the installation team would be able to address squeaky floors as part of the project. No attention was given to this issue during the installation. Since the installation, I have called Empire Today four times regarding these concerns. I eventually spoke with the installation manager, Carlos, who stated that someone would be scheduled to return and correct the stair installation issues. However, I have not been contacted by anyone, nor has any corrective work been performed. It has now been over a week since the installation, and none of the issues described above have been resolved. I am including photographs documenting the defects and poor workmanship. I am requesting that Empire Today promptly correct the installation deficiencies and address the concerns outlined in this complaint.
