I got a few tattoos from Meagan a couple weeks ago and loved them. I noticed one was healing strangely and reached out to her for advice. She agreed it would need a touch-up and sent me a booking link. The conversation was friendly, and I simply asked about the deposit since it was a correction from my initial appointment. She explained it was $50 to cover her tray, and I left it at that. That same night, she went on a series of Instagram stories calling out people who "question her pricing," describing them as "gross," and even referenced the neighborhood I live in -- making it obvious the posts were about me. It was completely unprofessional and honestly shocking behavior from a business owner. When I messaged her directly to express how disrespectful that was, she doubled down instead of taking accountability. Then, after blocking me, she continued posting stories showing my arm and tattoos while talking negatively about me. Several friends sent me screenshots because they couldn't believe it either. Her reaction was immature, entitled, and deeply unprofessional. I had been nothing but polite, yet was publicly ridiculed for asking a simple question. I genuinely liked her work, but professionalism and basic respect for clients matter just as much as talent -- and she showed neither. read more

Meagan is AMAZING! Her policies are clear and reasonable. Her pricing makes her tattoos very affordable. She always does touch ups complimentary for me when I book another tattoo. She has always treated me with kindness and respect. I travel to her from TN because I love her work that much. Before you get fine line work done, I suggest you do some research - most fine line tattoos will need touch ups over the years! If you don't book another tattoo with her, there will be a touch up fee to accommodate her time and supplies. It's very clear in all of her paperwork. :) read more

Requested a fine line tattoo for my wife's and my anniversary. Followed her instructions for the booking and did so successfully. Then, it went sideways. She first rejected my wife's request for the same day. Says she never saw it and I showed her the confirmation that she did. I then asked if she is willing to do an outline of my dog that passed away and says she doesn't do outlines of animals when on her page she's got animal outlines. I was asking for a cartoon outline nothing crazy. My wife then asked her for a piece on her lower rib near the hip and she said she doesn't do those. BUT there's the same placement on another one of her "samples" and all over her IG page. I caught her in multiple lies regarding the inconsistency and she got defensive and posted our conversation to her IG public story. What kind of "artist" goes through all the trouble of rejecting someone BEFORE they even book with you and pay a deposit only to then leak a private text message conversation. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the trouble and go to Imperfect Aetistry in Scottsdale, ask for Holly and she will take accept your request, take care of you and do a great job. She takes a lot of Meagan's clients for some weird reason.... My mind is blown that I am even having to write a review like this... I have had two appointments with Meagan and spent nearly $700. Initial booking was a process; however, I was willing to go through it because I was a fan of her work. These were also my first tattoos and I was super excited. I had my first appointment and it went well. Meagan wanted to take photos/video of her work and said that she would send them to me. I followed up requesting them; however, she never responded. I say this to validate another review left by someone else. However, this did not keep me from rescheduling. For my second appointment, I waited until her books opened up again to schedule a re-touch as well as two new tattoos. I had asked for tiny stars and my initial. At my appointment, I requested that the stars be on my inside ankle. Meagan said I wouldn't see them there. Her response left me perplexed. Perhaps she wasn't comfortable with that placement? No biggie, I can be flexible. As a result, I took her recommendation of placing them on my wrist.  A couple weeks post apt. I sent her a message seeking to understand the healing process as the star tattoos were healing differently than my previous two tattoos that she had completed. One star being a considerable amount darker than the other two. I was patient in awaiting her response. After 3 days, I sent her a gentle reminder via text & Instagram requesting her to respond. That day she did respond; however, she did not answer my question/concern. Regardless, I "hearted" her response.  Later that day when I went to share her Instagram page, I discovered that she had blocked me! MIND BLOWN by the action taken on her end. I then text her asking her about it. To which she called my text aggressive and then proceeded to LIE about blocking me. I'm sorry WHAT???? I know how instagram works. I didn't unfollow her. We both have public pages.  My point in writing this review is to save someone from a negative experience. I could never imagine treating someone who wants to support my business/ livelihood in this manner. Take accountability. Treat your new/existing clients well. Don't assume the worst of people seeking to understand the process of your work. When questioned about YOUR actual work...respond to the questions. I can't help but feel like she knows she messed up based on her lack of empathy/response to my actual concern.  I currently have a consultation for removal of the stars and another artist to touch up existing work. read more

Meagan is hands down the best hair stylist I've ever had! I made the mistake of going to another stylist at Ulta with my mom and I will NEVER do that again! Meagan works miracles whether she is fixing up someone else's mess or not. I call her the balayage Queen!! I will never go to another stylist again, and will forever choose Meagan and if you're smart you will too and your friends will and your friends, friends will! Meagan is amazing!! After going through a handful of stylist in Scottsdale and constantly being disappointed, I'm now disappointed I didn't find her first. She is an absolute professional at her trade with unmatched skill. Whether you give direction or trust her eye, she will put everything into creating perfection. Her coloring skills are above exceptional. She has the ability to execute hand coloring beyond perfection, with cuts that mirror the color. If you mention you can't do something (I was curling iron challenged) she will take the time to teach you. DO NOT HIRE** I met with her for about 20 minutes with my maid of honor to sign a contract and give my $100 deposit to secure my dates. I made appointments for my bridal shower trial and wedding and was penciled in her calendar. I met with her in May. Mid August my trial got canceled because she got a bridal party booked that same weekend. I asked her to give me time to get my thoughts together. She then canceled the following day with me and my girls all together for my wedding stating she could not meet my expectations and she didn't feel she was the right "professional" for me. She made me feel like I was incompetent of understanding her simple contract and the process. She didn't seem to be interested in getting to know her clients. She also refused to refund my $100 even though SHE canceled on me. She does amazing work but not trustworthy at all. read more

Being a blonde it is hard to find a good stylist that can not only give you perfect blonde, but also keep your blonde in excellent condition. I have been to many stylists over the years, and "broken up" with many stylists. A few years ago I had the pleasure of having Meagan take care of me and my very particular blonde needs. I am a perfectionist when it comes to my hair! Meagan is the absolute best stylist I have ever had! My blonde always comes out more than perfect and I never have any damage from coloring it, which I do a lot (it's a perfectionist thing)!
