KAELYN artist - don't book with her. I've been going to her for almost 6-7 years. She lacks communication. She puts these deposits towards her clients and fails to show up herself. I understand things happen which are fine but you should at least return the deposit you asked for so your clients don't do no shows. I called the salon owner and she said she was going to contact me back and has not. It's been since may 4th since my appointment and i have yet to receive anything. She pretends she can't send money. She can even call me and i'll go pick it up. She doesn't respond to my messages. As an artist you should definitely be looked into. You're scamming people which is a shame so beware of this artist. read more

I recently visited this salon for a haircut, hoping to leave feeling great about my hair. I showed the stylist an example of what I wanted and mentioned I was considering bangs. However, the stylist discouraged both the style and bangs, suggesting they wouldn't suit my hair type. While I appreciate advice, I've had bangs and shorter cuts before at this same establishment, done by a younger stylist closer to my age, and I was extremely happy with the result and style that the previous stylist gave me last time. The stylist's discouragement, though, really made me feel unsure and unconfident about my decision. She would say things like, "Uhh, that wouldn't look good," as nicely as possible, which left me feeling hesitant and second-guessing myself. She was nice other than that but In the end, I decided to kind of go along with her suggestion, even though I didn't ask for her opinion, thinking it might be for the best. I just wanted something nice and pretty, so I thought I'd stick with what I usually go for and then go from there before doing anything Unfortunately, the outcome wasn't what I expected. And I'm not very confrontational either. The cut ended up much shorter than I had wanted, and I don't feel great about it. The style feels a bit off, and there are areas where my hair seems uneven, with some longer pieces left in the back. I was hoping for a more tailored result, and I'm disappointed in how it turned out. I really hope my hair grows back quickly, but for now, I'm not happy with the final look.
