She consistently cuts my hair the way I like it and gives great attention to detail! I recently had her color my hair after many years of growing it out, and she did a FANTASTIC job (see picture)! I went in with some idea of what I wanted it to look like, but told Ashley just to do whatever she thought would look good. Everytime I tell her to do what she thinks would look best, I am never disappointed! She has wonderful taste and always gives me great beauty tips for free ! (There is an elevator from the ground floor, so that's no problem.) Fixtures are comfortable and stylish. Parking is ample but shared with many other businesses, so it's likely one will need to walk a bit. There are only 3 disabled spaces for 3-4 businesses, so that will be a concern for me. I was unpleasantly surprised that my stylist had raised her prices. And I was shocked that I was charged tax on my visit--I've never seen tax on such a service. Or was it a credit card fee? I received no information.

Andrea was an absolute joy and pleasure! She is such a bright light and taught me a lot about my…read morehair and curl maintenance. She was extremely personable and asked me so many questions about myself, my goals, and of course my hair. I have struggled to maintain and make my curls look "bouncy" and shiny the way it looks after I visit a salon. Andrea was very patient and thorough when explaining to me what products and oils I could use and demonstrated the techniques on my hair so I knew how to replicate this myself once I got home. I was going to an awards dinner this particular evening and requested a blowout but I appreciated that she helped me cut my natural curls first so I could see and know what to expect once I wore my hair natural again (I don't think any hairdresser has taken the time to do this for me). The blow out looked great too and it was nice to have Andrea take so much time to show me both styles and explain both to me. She always paused to ask how I was liking the cut and getting my feedback. I'm pretty low maintenance but it was lovely to have her be so detailed. From the beginning, even prior to our appointment, she was very communicative and even texted me a few days before I went to the salon to make sure I had full transparency on price, expectations, and she also had me share photos of my hair so she could be prepared. She texted me the day after my appointment as well to check in with me and said she would be available with any follow up questions I might have. The haircut aside, Andrea is just such a lovely and wonderful human being! The conversations we had were the absolute highlight of my week. She is a compassionate, caring and truly remarkable individual! I feel so lucky to have stumbled into this salon by chance, as I live very close by and have passed it many times. If you are curious about this salon and thinking about a haircut, please do not hesitate and ask for Andrea. You shall not be disappointed!

My stylist Maddie had never encountered eczema before, and handled it like I was a leper in biblical times. She was hostile with me before she even discovered this, didn't say hello and when she finally acknowledged me and I stood to shake her hand, she offered the tips of her left hand (a binder was in her right hand- such a hassle to switch that to the left and behave). I'm disgusted by this salon quite frankly. I emailed a bit with the owner, Ivy, to discuss and her responses were tepid, trite, and bordering on HR speech. Maddie, since you've pursued a career that deals with people; here is a little info that you should know: Approximately 10% of the population in the United States, or around 31.6 million people, have some form of eczema, with 10% to 20% of children and 2% to 10% of adults globally being affected

She helped fix my eyebrows in the past, and I've always been so happy with her work. I've also seen Cassidy, who did an amazing job on my hair, and Bonnie, who did a fantastic job on my daughter's hair. Unfortunately, my experience in October was very different. The salon scheduled me with Krystal because Marina was not available. My appointment was at 2:45pm, and I arrived at 2:47pm, two minutes late. From the moment I walked in, Krystal seemed rushed and was noticeably rude toward my little girl, which immediately set the tone. She began working on my eyebrows right away without any conversation or care. She finished in under two minutes, didn't show me a mirror, and just wanted me to pay and leave. I complied because I felt extremely uncomfortable, and I have never experienced a service like that before. When I got to my car and looked in the mirror, I was shocked, my eyebrows were destroyed. I have naturally thick brows and only needed a simple clean-up, but I left with uneven, overly thinned-out brows. They were corked, patchy, and nothing like the full brows I walked in with. When I went back inside to ask for help, no one would assist me. I ended up having to cancel my plans for the evening because of how they looked. I later went to another place, and it took the specialist there an hour just to reshape what was left so that regrowth could eventually happen. It's now December, and my eyebrows are still in bad shape. I went somewhere else again today, and the specialist told me I will have to continue waiting for them to grow back or consider microneedling because of how severe the damage is. Since everyone here is a 1099 contractor, there is no real management to turn to when something goes wrong. I understand mistakes happen, but I should have been taken seriously and helped immediately when I returned to the salon. Instead, I was treated like I didn't matter. I was embarrassed, upset, and completely dismissed. The owner left me a voicemail two days later, and Krystal called to apologize the next day, but by then it felt too late. Accountability should have been taken in the moment. You go to a salon to feel beautiful. Instead, I left feeling extremely embarrassed and insecure. It has now been almost two months, and I'm still struggling with how badly my eyebrows were damaged. I do not want another person to have a bad experience. The salon should have never booked my eyebrows with a nail technician. I was under the impression I was getting the same quality service. Honestly, their customer service is as outdated as their website.
