I waited some time before writing this review, as I wanted to be fair. This happened in October 2025. I usually see Marina, who is honestly amazing. She helped fix my eyebrows in the past, and I've always been so happy with her work. I've also seen Cassidy, who did an amazing job on my hair, and Bonnie, who did a fantastic job on my daughter's hair. Unfortunately, my experience in October was very different. The salon scheduled me with Krystal because Marina was not available. My appointment was at 2:45pm, and I arrived at 2:47pm, two minutes late. From the moment I walked in, Krystal seemed rushed and was noticeably rude toward my little girl, which immediately set the tone. She began working on my eyebrows right away without any conversation or care. She finished in under two minutes, didn't show me a mirror, and just wanted me to pay and leave. I complied because I felt extremely uncomfortable, and I have never experienced a service like that before. When I got to my car and looked in the mirror, I was shocked, my eyebrows were destroyed. I have naturally thick brows and only needed a simple clean-up, but I left with uneven, overly thinned-out brows. They were corked, patchy, and nothing like the full brows I walked in with. When I went back inside to ask for help, no one would assist me. I ended up having to cancel my plans for the evening because of how they looked. I later went to another place, and it took the specialist there an hour just to reshape what was left so that regrowth could eventually happen. It's now December, and my eyebrows are still in bad shape. I went somewhere else again today, and the specialist told me I will have to continue waiting for them to grow back or consider microneedling because of how severe the damage is. Since everyone here is a 1099 contractor, there is no real management to turn to when something goes wrong. I understand mistakes happen, but I should have been taken seriously and helped immediately when I returned to the salon. Instead, I was treated like I didn't matter. I was embarrassed, upset, and completely dismissed. The owner left me a voicemail two days later, and Krystal called to apologize the next day, but by then it felt too late. Accountability should have been taken in the moment. You go to a salon to feel beautiful. Instead, I left feeling extremely embarrassed and insecure. It has now been almost two months, and I'm still struggling with how badly my eyebrows were damaged. I do not want another person to have a bad experience. The salon should have never booked my eyebrows with a nail technician. I was under the impression I was getting the same quality service. I had a facial today with Marina for my 55th birthday. She was amazing. She was kind and knowledgeable and since my skin was a bit irritated recommend holding off on a chemical peel. She could tell I was not a fan of the color as it was finishing up and kept reassuring me "I'll grow into it" "it's such a pretty color", don't get me wrong sure it's pretty!! But absolutely the complete and total opposite of what I requested. When I expressed how I felt she had no remorse and insisted on letting me fade and defending herself saying I thought it was pretty as well- pretty, but not accurate or good service at all. I was not offered a chance at getting it fixed and was given barely a 50% refund (future reference, Cassidy does not typically offer refunds or redos, so you better hope it's right!!) This salon is full of greedy mean girls, not women, who only care about the profit they make and not their clients confidence or desires. SO Disappointed in Martin's lack of morals and ethics. He charged for a haircut that he clearly couldn't do. I have NEVER requested a refund from him. He agreed to refund me the day I called. Good. And I have it on tape. Then he takes his sweet time. I am on a disability budget for a severe pain disease. He is healthy, earning what he likes and clearly has no care for his cruelty to others. I paid to get my hair done CORRECTLY elsewhere as he truly thought he did a fantastic job. Everyone hated it. I did as well as I tried to work with it. I was kind and decent NOT to tell the person who did his work. Now I get tons of compliments. He yelled as he had been called upon to keep his morals and ethics. "You are crazy," he said," I will call your case manager! he said- "I have a physical disease, and perhaps this entitled man doesn't know about HIPPA standards as they wouldn't talk with him if he tried, but they do support me in not getting ripped off. " Your hair was crap when you came in!" he professionally said. My thought is this, Marty didn't make a speck of improvement if that's how his attitude is/ was and his entitled mind can steal from someone else. Now, the stylist I saw AFTER Marty earned their money and my respect. Marty shouldn't go around gossiping about clients and calling others crazy. Those who live in glass houses... I do, however, expect his morals and ethics to match what he stated on tape and not the lies thereafter. That's not normal. Nor professional. I'm so glad to see the "real Marty" when he wants it all about him and nothing but compliments. Even when he didn't earn a thing. Not this time. Grow up, Marty. Don't ever book an appointment with Jamie koons. My privacy was completely invaded, she was not given permission to have my phone number and she found it through the front desk. She texted me harassing me because I called the salon letting them know my experience with how uneven she did a simple haircut. She didn't even shampoo or condition my hair, and then texted me harassing me telling me that my hair was dirty and half the time she made me stand while she sat and cut my hair. I've never met someone so unprofessional in my life to text message me and cuss me out. I really hope a manager gets involved and gets her out of there. 30 years of hair and she said she has never cut such thick long hair and treated me like I was a burden because I have thick long hair. And I'm sorry I didn't wash my hair before coming in (it was still clean from the night before) and I knew she should be cleaning it which she didn't do. When I asked if she could curl the ends in to make the unevenness look better her flat iron didn't work. She's an awful awful awful human being. I will contact authorities if she reaches out to me ever again. During the service she seemed really out of it and brought up alcohol a lot and how she needs to watch sober videos even though she stated she "isn't sober"... watching her brush my hair and how she wasn't able to simply do that... and just how she had to sit all the time and was really out of it I believe she was on something. My review is for Meena, who gave me one of the best facials I have had in a long time! I had an NCrowd Voucher for a 60 minute pumpkin facial and hydrating masque. The salon is really busy and noisy, but her treatment room was very peaceful, calming and had great soothing background music. I filled out the informational form and then I changed into the gown and she started with the facial. I didn't know it also included a head and neck massage and then arm massage. Very soothing and my face feels amazing. Meena is professional, friendly and knows her stuff. Plenty of parking and they have WiFi that you need to ask for a password. read more

She left hairdressing for a while and after a couple of moves to other states, I came back to Denver and thought...hmmm...I wonder if Tajia is back. She is!! If you have ever been considering a change and you have been nervous about it, you need to go see Tajia. She will walk you through each step, give you suggestions and her totally honest opinion. The first time I saw Tajia, I went for nearly waist length hair to a lob, which was a HUGE change for me.This time, I went for an asymmetrical bob, because with a nine month old baby, I needed shorter hair, but not the dreaded mom hair. When I walked in, I saw all these beautiful girls with clear skin, & reading up on this, I knew I'd come out bare faced & red. Not a pretty sight. I almost bolted at the thought, but my boyfriend made me take a seat. A striking indian women came right up to me & introduced herself as Meena. We hit it off & she instantly made me feel at ease & answered all my questions. I loved her. Bottom line: My experience was great, Meena was excellent! She definitely went the extra mile for me. I had a review for my hairstylist at a different salon, but she moved to SKYE, so I needed to get her a review up here. Stacy Baker has been doing my hair for several years now. She never frowns when I ask for her to do the same old thing. In the same sense, she totally listens when I am ready for something new. I've never come out of there unhappy. Recently she did a pretty major chop on my hair and I wish I'd let her do it ages ago. She talked me through the whole thing and took it in baby steps so I wouldn't hate it. Her prices are reasonable and she's easy to talk to. My only complaint about the whole place would be the decor. It isn't something I would pick, but that's really a moot point. My former stylist moved away and I've been looking for a new place for a year now. Finally, I have found my new stylist and colorist, Mandy. Mandy listened to everything I asked for and executed it. She gave me her honest opinion what she thought I should do as well, which I always appreciate. I had a cut, full color, full highlights and a deep conditioning. It only came to $180, which is very reasonable, considering I have long, thick hair. Others mentioned hard selling, but I didn't really experience that - perhaps because I am always a willing participant in shopping for beauty products of any kind. I did purchase $70 worth of product, but I asked for them and Mandy just helped me chose the right ones for me. The salon is kind of noisy and the stylists' stations are small, but I somehow still felt relaxed. Mandy was very personable and she worked efficiently, which I liked. I love coming in to Skye salon. The receptionists are always welcoming with a smile and right away ask if you would like something to drink. I have been seeing Viqui for 5 years. She has always been spot on when it comes to my color. Almost every time I see her, I never tell her what to do and I end up leaving with the most beautiful hair. When I first started going to Viqui my hair was really damaged. I had destroyed it trying to bleach it myself. Viqui gives me the color I want, and I don't think my hair has ever been healthier. I had a terrible experience at this salon, and I wouldn't recommend it. First of all I wanted to get my wife a nice gift, so I went in and bought her a gift card that was supposed to cover her to get a haircut, all over dye, massage, and a manicure. When it was all said and done, I spent over 300 dollars and was assured that my wife wouldn't need to do anything else. So a week later when my wife goes to get the services done, it turns out that she had to pay an extra 70 dollars plus she was forced to tip everyone. I called the manager that day and explained to her that this wasn't what we agreed upon seeing how I already paid for services and told her to add 20% on top of the bill so that my wife wouldn't have to tip. The manager just acted like she could care less, and told me she would call me back, but of course never did. According to my wife, the massage was nice, but the haircut/all over dye wasn't up to her standards and she had to explain in great detail what she wanted, and it seemed like the girl just didn't understand. Luckily the cut and color turned out nice, but getting to that point was a struggle according to my wife. I still feel like I am owed the 70 plus dollars that my wife had to pay, and I feel like if everyone at the place has different prices that aren't correct on the books, they simply shouldn't offer gift cards to this place. Manager was completely rude and awfully cavalier to someone that just spent 300-400 bucks at this place. I will not be back, nor will my wife. read more
