The woman at the front desk was informative and friendly, and my wax specialist Charlotte was very nice. She brought me back and got everything explained and prepped really speedily (I don't know if she just likes to speak fast or if she really was trying to fly through everything) but that was fine with me. She was friendly and made the situation feel casual and comfortable. The waxing didn't hurt too bad either, so that was a welcome relief. They have wax plans you can sign up for to save money if you're planning on going regularly. But as I wanted to see how I liked the results and how my skin did etc, I turned that offer down and was not pressured at all to do differently. So, free wax, no strings! The bed was really comfy to lay on and was also warmed which was a nice touch. The entire process was about 45 min and Ciera was very thoughtful throughout making sure I was comfortable. She instead recommended I do the YonKa dry skin facial which is actually cheaper than what I originally booked. I'm not well versed in skin care so I really liked that Kayelyn walked me through everything she was doing and the reasons why. Most times you just lay there in silence and while I do like sometimes to just relax and fall asleep, I really appreciated the skin care education and I was still able to relax as well. But I feel like I have a better idea of what my skin needs and how I can achieve it. The only reason I'm rating this 4.5/5 stars is because I normally like some lip care during my facials and this was lacking that. I really liked the essential oil toner she used and ended up purchasing it afterwards. The scent is heavenly and made my skin feel great.
