I'm struggling with what rating I give this I'm happy with the cut on the length of my hair but I've been growing out my side shaves for a year because I didn't like how big they had gotten I had to remind the stylist I wanted them shaved after showing videos and pictures. the left side is fine that's what she showed me I said it look good. I didn't notice till I got home (she didn't turn me around or anything just gave me the handheld mirror ) but the right side is a completely different shape and goes much higher. it is noticeable with my hair down when tucker behind my ears as she shaved into my baby hairs. I honestly don't know how to fix this there's no putting the hair back on my head and I would have to shave more from both to make it even. I don't drive so it wasn't easy to get to this appointment. It was my one day off not to mention it was 65 without tip. I usually do my own hair but I went to a professional because I wanted it even and down well. it doesn't take a stylist to see those sections don't look the same I'm just disappointed in a place I've gone for 10+ years read more

Watch out for this place. They quoted me one price when I made the appointment. I got a pedicure and when I got home I found out that they charged me more than quoted. I called and they said "sorry the price went up". I asked if they do not honor the price quoted? They said no. LOL. Great way to lose clients. read more

Just had a pedicure with Tegan. It was awesome. I have some issues with very dry skin and a cracked toenail. Tegan took extra time and was very meticulous with her work. This was a very relaxing pedicure and not rushed at all. It was one of the best pedi's I've ever has. I highly recommend her and will be a returning customer. read more

My mum suggested this place to me so I thought I would go and see how they were. I had Miguel do my hair and I asked for curtain bangs and light layers. I received a botched hair cut. Very uneven and jagged. I didn't notice at first how bad it was because it was wet when I left and had I work that day so I was on a time limit. Once I got home and realized how bad it was I had my mum take pictures. I couldn't go back in for a few days because I am a high school and college student and work over 20 hours a week. When I did go back to complain she said she saw why I was upset and said she would give A FULL REFUND, which she didn't. I would not recommend coming here and especially not seeing Miguel. The owner, the one who wrote the note, was very impatient and disrespectful. If you do end up coming here and get an awful haircut/color, go back asap and demand they give you a refund in front of you, to make sure you get your money back. read more

I had been going to the same barber for 45 years. He passed away last year, so I've been going to someone who had worked for him. She was okay, but not great. And I had been driving down to Seattle from South Everett (a 20 mile drive) once a month for a haircut, and with traffic being what it is, it was a bit of a hassle. So I looked up barbers on Angie's List, and found Shear Perfection in Everett. They came highly recommended, so I made an appointment for this afternoon. What a great find! Tegan, the receptionist, if very friendly and helpful. And Tracy, the stylist, is just plain wonderful. He's very nice and personable, and gave me probably the best scissor cut I've ever had. I had been pretty nervous about trying someone new. I now have appointments scheduled for every month through June. I couldn't be happier. read more

I have a four month old, and this is as my first venture out (also the first time I left their dad with all three kids). It was a great experience. Beatriz gave me an eyebrow wax, and a manicure, and trust me, she had a lot of work to do, since I hadn't had either done since my second child was one (two years). Beatriz was so pleasant and friendly and nice to talk with. She also did a great job on both my manicure and eyebrows. I had a SpaFinder gift card, and for whatever crazy reason decided to try them out on a whim (they accept the gift cards, had a stylist available to meet with me only 2 hours after calling). I met Randee, a newer stylist (2 years is what I heard), and OMG she rocked! So super friendly, effortless conversation, and my hair looks better than I even pictured it turning out. I have found this place to be a very good place to either have your hair done or get a massage. The owner Marie has been nothing but fair to me and I have heard no complaints from others I know who go here. I doubt very much after being in business for over 20 plus years that she would do anything unethical. Beatriz is one of the best hair dressers. I had one massage here that I wasn't pleased with and the owner gave me a free massage. They also offer manicures, waxing and permanent make up among other things. I've come here for a few years now, always loved it, this last time...not so much. I had an appointment with Michelle for a partial foil, I showed her a picture of what I wanted, she glanced at it for about 2 seconds and started mixing the color. She wasn't friendly at all, seemed rushed, and fir in three different hair cuts between my foil so I was there for about 3 hours when it should have taken maybe two. I would sit and wait for 20 min at a time twiddling my thumbs while she was with other clients. After she was finished she didn't even dry my hair so I couldn't see the finished product until I was home and dried it myself. She charged me $80 for a color that wasn't what I wanted and you could barely see, what was the point? My boyfriend didn't even notice a difference when he got home. What a waste of money. Yesterday was my first time at Shear Perfection, and let me tell you, it will definitely not be my last! I had heard good things about the salon and spa, so I drove all the way from Sultan to get a pedicure and massage. It was well worth the drive! Everyone there went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, comfortable, and to give me the pampering I have so greatly needed! Megan did my pedicure, and Michelle did my massage. Both were amazing!!! Probably the best massage and pedicure I've ever gotten in my life! Marie, the owner, is the sweetest ever, and made me feel so welcome and comfy! I decided to give this salon a try because it was close to home and they accepted the gift cards I had. I went online to check out the reviews and most were good. My appointment was with Tracy. He was polite and nice and asked me what I wanted done with my hair. I came in with mostly brown hair. I told him I wanted a balayage. I'd had it done previously at another salon so I said I wanted the highlights to come up a little higher than it was and for the hair that was already blonde to be lighter. He got started and was very heavy handed. I felt like he was trying to pull my hair out. I am a pretty easy going person so I didn't say anything and just trusted he knew what he was doing. Unfortunately when he was done my hair was COMPLETELY BLONDE!!!! I was horrified!! I payed and even tipped him, because I always tip, got in my car and balled my eyes out. My hair is ruined. I got up the courage and called the next day. I explained what happened to the owner and asked for my money back. She offered to fix it but I declined and explained that I never want Tracy to touch my hair and that sitting across from him and having someone else do it would be to acquired and uncomfortable. She said she'd see what she could do. She proceeded to text me and was very accusatory. She asked me to send her a picture of my hair and a picture of the picture I showed him. So I did. I also sent her a picture of my hair after getting it "fixed" from the salon I went to. I say "fixed" because It's going to take a few appointments to actually get to what I wanted. She said she would mail me a check and I accepted. The check came with a rude note for only $45. I was charged $107. $75 of which was in gift cards. I realize that the salon gets a lesser amount for the gift cards so I was ok with getting back a little less to reflect that but $45 is not even half. Not to mention now I have to pay an arm and a leg to get it fixed. So the moral of the story is, you get what you pay for and just because someone has some good reviews doesn't mean they will do a good job for you. Lesson learned. P.S. if anyone tries to refute my claims, I have all the text messages to prove it. read more

I have had a difficult time finding stylists in the past because my hair is fine and breaks easily when I lighten it. I have found that Blackwell products can help me lighten my hair while not breaking it and to find this salon I had to search on Blackwells' website to find a salon that carried the product that I liked.
