So this young lady comes bouncing in the room and informs me I bad to pay $1,000 before they move forward. That is some that I should have been told in January not the day of. Fortunately I did have cash with me, but that is a lot of money and I did not have an opportunity to save it up. I really like my dentist because she is very good and concerned about patient comfort and information, but not sure I will go back because of the distance. I will see if a dental office can provide the hardware that I may need replaced in the future at a reasonable cost. Because they seemed to think it was funny that I told them it was terrible to spring something like this on the day with no prior notice. How funny is it that you have now lost referrals and possible a patient?

When the nurse started going over what was being done she mentioned bone graft. I hadn't been informed about this so I asked to speak to the Dr. Unfortunately the explanation led to me asking what materials were going to be implanted into my body ie donor bone, cadaver etc. She literally went and got the box to read. SHE DIDN'T KNOW. I asked again if this was needed only for a later implant or if it was necessary. She kept saying "well you don't have to get it". So I'm supposed to have a material implanted into me from who knows for the rest of my life. At this point my anxiety and stress are extremely high. After not knowing what material was being used I asked again. Was it only necessary for the implant or needed for the procedure. She flat out said "I already explained it to you already". I stood said "no, you will not speak to me that way" and walked to the front. I asked for an office manager but they have none on site. I had to wait to speak to another dentist who will be treating me tomorrow. I can't wait for the VA to send me somewhere else. I can't keep waiting to get this taken care of. It's a shame because this use to be a great office. Many people have dental anxiety and having a dentist with a compassionate calm bedside manner makes a world of difference. The front desk and nurses are wonderful. It's unfortunate. I will update after tomorrow's visit.

My wife just went ahead and paid in advance for the appointment, this is where we made a huge mistake. I cancelled the appointment because being told ONE tooth needed work but we have to pay for SEVEN, that's was a big no, so almost six weeks later after canceling my appointment they wouldn't issue a refund, i called 9 times during those 6 weeks, all i got was " will call you back" or " the lady that does the refund is too busy", SIX WEEKS still waiting.When they say they will call back for whatever reason they won't. I will never go back or advise to do so, again dentist is good but most staff is horrible .

Now, no refreshments (not that it's a big deal but this was on the promo they had to lure people in), I have to argue about getting my whitening because the staff (always new people when I come in) doesn't know anything about it, no hygienist so the actual dentist cleans your teeth but it is very rushed since they are in a hurry, I have to argue about giving me fluoride and they are never even there at the actual location. You call a general number off site for help, not even the physical location of the business. Also, had 3 different dentists the whole time I've been coming here. The constant turnover of staff, loss of amenities and disorganization made me go somewhere else. And don't bother reading the store hours on the door, they aren't correct. It says walkins are welcome Monday - Friday 10-5 but here I am on a Monday at 11:30 and they are closed. Then the best part, when calling the oral surgeon to schedule they told me they only accept patients under 20 and that it has been their policy and she wasn't sure why they would have referred me, as I am 30. This was over a month ago, I still have never received a call back for a new referral, and everytime I try and stop in the office is closed randomly throughout the week. They have zero patient care, but I guarantee they already claimed my visit with my insurance to get paid. Smh go anywhere else. Update: never heard back from them after leaving 10+ messages. The dental assistant that took my X-ray, she also did a periodontal exam and was not supposed to. It's done by the dentist or the hygienist. The dentist assistant also told the doctor what treatment I needed which she was practicing out of her scope of care. They tried to get me to schedule for treatment, I declined and got a second opinion and my treatment plan went from 3000.00 dollars to 164.00 for a crown that I needed. My husband and I can't continue with Dual Arc Dental because they no longer submit the full bill to the insurance company and after that amount is paid the patient pays the balance. Sometimes we cannot afford to pay up front so we located another practice recommended by a friend which will submit the bill to our insurance and allow us to pay the balance. We understand that Dual Arc made a business decision and we wish them the best. Try them and you will be impressed with the high level of dental help.

I called in to schedule an appointment in the mid-May, and I told them very clearly I have Tricare dental and asked them if they accept Tricare. They said yes they do accept Tricare and then set up my appointment on June 22. I showed up and checked in, then the front desk asked me to pay $100 copay, I told them Tricare covers 100% on the annual exam and x-ray and cleaning twice a year. Then they told me oh we are NOT in the Tricare network and you need to pay a copay $100! WHAT!!! WHY DID NOT TELL ME ON THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED THE FIRST TIME???!!!! I said then I do not want to proceed with the appointment and about to walk out, the manager saw that I was about to leave, she said oh I can just bill your insurance and waive the copay, since you are already here, I do not want to turn you away. We will just do the x-ray and you can take the images to another dental which is in the network. I accepted and proceeded with the x-ray. I was SO WRONG!! I really really should have left! Later of the day I found another dentist on Tricare Dental Program website and called them and told them what happened earlier today. I was told that: 1) they would need to do their own full mouth X-ray and not accepting what other dentist has done due to liability 2) Tricare only covers full mouth x-ray once every year, I would need to pay out of pocket for the second one. This place wants to make money so bad that they totally abused my insurance coverage! They knew clearly I had Tricare and they could not do any cleaning or needed treatment for me! Even they waived the $100 copay but they submitted $$$ claim to my insurance! Yeah, they got paid from insurance! Now I have to pay for another X-ray out of pocket! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING PLACE!!!
