Making an appointment is very easy. They're just one phone call away and they always pick up. You can also view and book appts on their patient portal website which is convenient and highly recommended! Due to corona, you have to wait in your car and call them on the phone to let them know of your arrival. A vet assistant will come outside to your car to have you fill paperwork, answer questions, take payment, etc. Only one person is allowed inside the clinic. You can also choose to let the vet assistant take your puppy inside while you wait in the car! My puppy is always greeting the staff with loads of hyper energy and a wagging tail so you know they're great people! The staff is super friendly and sweet. They were patient about answering my many many new dog mom questions. They also handed flea samples and a folder filled with informational pamphlets. It's pretty helpful to keep all your doggo's information in one place. I highly recommend everyone to come here.

We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our sweet boy due to terminal issues but the whole staff at Coastal Cat Clinic truly made the process as easy as one can. Me being a trusting person assumed it was the right medication went and administered it to both my dogs only to find out it doesn't treat ticks. I have since reached out to them to tell them of my displeasure and what are they gonna do for me to correct this situation due to the lack of tick prevention medication that I was supposed to get. . Every time you go in here, they raise their prices and act like it's no big deal and they have become completely unaffordable. Recently they bought a new doctor on whose name is Dr Cox, who has not 1 ounce of empathy and has the most bitchy attitude I've ever seen out of any veterinarian. They charged $63 for an exam, the puppy needs multiple shots but they have been adding fees for needles disposal and other erroneous charges. The vet was very rude to me and so were here staff. I was being friendly, smiling and trying to be social. They made me wear a mask while none of them did. The vet told me my puppy needs to be bathed. I just took him to the groomer. He is a puppy, he literally rolls in the yard and acts crazy. He has just rolled around before we went there. I groom my dogs regularly and treat them like babies. I am looking for a new vet now.

Animal house staff have always taken great care of my baby both during is long stays and grooming sessions. Recently got him groomed for the first time this summer and had an incredible experience. Staff took great care of his undercoat along with being able to manage getting his nails trimmed which I know can be a task in itself. Very timely service dropped him off in the morning they had him finished and ready to go in just a few houses.

When dropping him off I told the person at the counter not to shave him totally and the girl looked at my friends account on the computer and told me that she understood because there were notes saying how to clip him. My friend came at 4:30 to pick up her dog and was told they hadn't started working on him yet! She waited 30 minutes until they were done. When they brought him out to go home it was a real chop job, the ridges from the clipper were visible from the side it was obvious that certain areas were shaved unevenly. The hair on the head and around the ears was chopped with no attention to detail. She was shocked and spoke to the owner about how awful the job was and asked for a partial refund, at least for the tip given. The owner said she would get back to her and never did. I have clipped and shaved my own dogs at home and know I could've done a better job!

It wasn't until we were in Jacksonville (away from family & new to the area) that I found myself needing to board her. After WEEKS of searching different facilities, I choose PAWVILLE. Saying I was a MESS leaving her there was an understatement. I cried leaving her. The facility was beautiful, well kept, secure & the staff was friendly (again, just me being an over protective parent). I Bella stayed for 6 days. I received pictures of my baby and the staff was patient with me, when I'd call to check on her. Needless to say, I cried ALOT when I picked up my baby. She was happy to see me and she was fine. A lil confused, but she was fine and well cared for. I ended up using PAWVILLE a.few times while we were in Jacksonville. Fast forward 4 years & back in San Diego I recently rescued another dog & need to board him (here we go again). My thoughts, "its San Diego, this will be easy." The bar PAWVILLE instilled in my needs for boarding is beyond measure. I miss the facility & the comfort I found in knowing my furchild was safe. We had a family emergency and had to go home for a death in our family and needed a place to board…read moreour dog for 3 weeks. It started with the report card pictures, I noticed that he was becoming very thin. He was sent with a bag of 18lb bag of dog food and I signed and paid for them to feed him the food they had when he ran out. I noticed marks on him unsure if it was from them or their dogs, one picture you can see blood on his paw and never once did they say anything about him being hurt. He also came back home flinching really bad, when I would go to simply pet him he would duck. When we got him back home and started feeding him like his normal again he fatten up back to normal very fast. He also has became aggressive when we bathe him with the shower head (he bit my friend while she was bathing him) when he used to not be till he went to pawville.
