After getting put in a room at 10:30 we didn't see Dr Weaver until 11:05 or maybe a little later. Terrible visit. I used to goto the animal academy, they don't take appointments but I would have waited the same amount of time to see a vet who cares about seeing animals and their owners. We won't be back.

Making an appointment is very easy. They're just one phone call away and they always pick up. You can also view and book appts on their patient portal website which is convenient and highly recommended! Due to corona, you have to wait in your car and call them on the phone to let them know of your arrival. A vet assistant will come outside to your car to have you fill paperwork, answer questions, take payment, etc. Only one person is allowed inside the clinic. You can also choose to let the vet assistant take your puppy inside while you wait in the car! My puppy is always greeting the staff with loads of hyper energy and a wagging tail so you know they're great people! The staff is super friendly and sweet. They were patient about answering my many many new dog mom questions. They also handed flea samples and a folder filled with informational pamphlets. It's pretty helpful to keep all your doggo's information in one place. I highly recommend everyone to come here.

We brought Oliver in after our first vet didn't take us seriously and wanted to do testing that didn't make sense at all. Within one visit to CCC our cat was completely back to normal and feeling so much better. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our sweet boy due to terminal issues but the whole staff at Coastal Cat Clinic truly made the process as easy as one can. While my family isn't ready to rescue another cat, when we do we will absolutely be back in the careful care of Dr. Smith.

They took my puppy straight back and after I did paperwork I got to go back to. They gave him a cortisone injection and then they gave me antibiotics for him to take after we left and said to come back if he got worse... he didn't thank God. But they were very attentive and didn't mind sitting on the floor with me as I was crying over my baby being in pain. And they explained everything about what to expect in the next few hours and days to come. And to keep a look out for the snake that got him. They also sent me a post card a few days later to check on him. Side note we found the snake that bit him and safely removed him from the property

Me being a trusting person assumed it was the right medication went and administered it to both my dogs only to find out it doesn't treat ticks. I have since reached out to them to tell them of my displeasure and what are they gonna do for me to correct this situation due to the lack of tick prevention medication that I was supposed to get. . Every time you go in here, they raise their prices and act like it's no big deal and they have become completely unaffordable. Recently they bought a new doctor on whose name is Dr Cox, who has not 1 ounce of empathy and has the most bitchy attitude I've ever seen out of any veterinarian. If you have to go to the vet veterinarian avoid her at all costs.

Remus put up an amazing fight but unfortunately ended up crossing to the other side. During the process they gave us as much time we needed with him and made it such an overall loving experience. We will NEVER forget their generosity to our boy and us during this emotional time. Afterwords, they presented us his ashes in the most beautiful way possible. Remus got to come home with us for the last time and it truly felt like it.

I'm not satisfied with the service I've received here or the pricing. On my last bill it was $163 for a puppy vaccines. They charged $63 for an exam, the puppy needs multiple shots but they have been adding fees for needles disposal and other erroneous charges. The vet was very rude to me and so were here staff. I was being friendly, smiling and trying to be social. They made me wear a mask while none of them did. The vet told me my puppy needs to be bathed. I just took him to the groomer. He is a puppy, he literally rolls in the yard and acts crazy. He has just rolled around before we went there. I groom my dogs regularly and treat them like babies. I am looking for a new vet now.

When dropping him off I told the person at the counter not to shave him totally and the girl looked at my friends account on the computer and told me that she understood because there were notes saying how to clip him. My friend came at 4:30 to pick up her dog and was told they hadn't started working on him yet! She waited 30 minutes until they were done. When they brought him out to go home it was a real chop job, the ridges from the clipper were visible from the side it was obvious that certain areas were shaved unevenly. The hair on the head and around the ears was chopped with no attention to detail. She was shocked and spoke to the owner about how awful the job was and asked for a partial refund, at least for the tip given. The owner said she would get back to her and never did. I have clipped and shaved my own dogs at home and know I could've done a better job!

I was called and told she had hookworm She's now on medication Since they are highly contagious called to let Animal house know and they said sorry to hear that No no one else has reported hookworm. .My dog's only contact with other dogs is there. Plus I believe others should have been notified to.test their dogs.I do know from watching their camera that their kennels are washed down but in open social areas anything can happen.

It wasn't until we were in Jacksonville (away from family & new to the area) that I found myself needing to board her. After WEEKS of searching different facilities, I choose PAWVILLE. Saying I was a MESS leaving her there was an understatement. I cried leaving her. The facility was beautiful, well kept, secure & the staff was friendly (again, just me being an over protective parent). I Bella stayed for 6 days. I received pictures of my baby and the staff was patient with me, when I'd call to check on her. Needless to say, I cried ALOT when I picked up my baby. She was happy to see me and she was fine. A lil confused, but she was fine and well cared for. I ended up using PAWVILLE a.few times while we were in Jacksonville. Fast forward 4 years & back in San Diego I recently rescued another dog & need to board him (here we go again). My thoughts, "its San Diego, this will be easy." The bar PAWVILLE instilled in my needs for boarding is beyond measure. I miss the facility & the comfort I found in knowing my furchild was safe.
