All of the materials were available, not just the cheese and meats and all that. But also knives, cutting boards, etc. The owner was our instructor and she was the sweetest. Each person in the group got their own kit and they gave us advice on how to arrange things based on flavors and type of item, encouraged our designs and it was really fun. The amount of food we got was insane. I would totally recommend Cheers to Cheese for team gatherings, bachelorette parties, all that stuff. I mean.. Just look at the photos (heart eyes).

This was a use by date, not a purchase by date, so it had no shelf life. I thought any establishment would be embarrassed to sell a product 1 1/2 months after the expiration date. Now here's the problem. The Glenview store is 40 minutes from me. I am much closer to the Mt. Prospect store and I was under the impression that the Wild Fork sign on both stores means that they would both back up product sold by the Wild Fork corporation. Well Mt. Prospect wouldn't help me in any way since I did not buy the item there. Don't give me the "franchise" excuse. If Wild Fork can't figure out how to stand behind their product, no matter which location, I have no reason to ever set foot in any of their stores again.

I had no choice but to take it as-is. By the time I reached home, the car trunk was soaked in blood. Now, I have to spend extra money on professional detailing to clean the mess. This was the worst experience I've ever had. My family and I have been regular customers, buying meat and groceries from this store, but after today never again. I've also informed my friends and relatives to avoid this place. The way they handle customers especially on such a sacred occasion is disgraceful. There's no respect for the customer, no respect for the trust people place in them during Qurbani. And to top it off, the meat quality and packing looks extremely poor. It's a charming little store that has been around for 53 years. Although the original owner sold the business to her neighbors about a decade ago, the original recipe has remained unchanged. The chocolate-covered toffee is simply outstanding. Each piece has that perfect buttery caramel crunch, coated in rich chocolate, making it incredibly addictive and well worth the price. One fellow customer even shared a great tip: save the crumbs and mix them into homemade chocolate chip cookie dough for an extra crunchy, toffee-filled treat. I'll definitely be trying that!
