This was a use by date, not a purchase by date, so it had no shelf life. I thought any establishment would be embarrassed to sell a product 1 1/2 months after the expiration date. Now here's the problem. The Glenview store is 40 minutes from me. I am much closer to the Mt. Prospect store and I was under the impression that the Wild Fork sign on both stores means that they would both back up product sold by the Wild Fork corporation. Well Mt. Prospect wouldn't help me in any way since I did not buy the item there. Don't give me the "franchise" excuse. If Wild Fork can't figure out how to stand behind their product, no matter which location, I have no reason to ever set foot in any of their stores again.

This was the worst experience I've ever had. My family and I have been regular customers, buying meat and groceries from this store, but after today never again. I've also informed my friends and relatives to avoid this place. The way they handle customers especially on such a sacred occasion is disgraceful. There's no respect for the customer, no respect for the trust people place in them during Qurbani. And to top it off, the meat quality and packing looks extremely poor. I'm deeply disappointed and feel cheated. Everyone is free to make their own decisions, but this is my honest review. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what I went through.
