We purchased a 2007 Tahoe from Mike's Auto Sales last year. Two days after the purchase the water…read morepump went out in the middle of the road. They hesitated taking the truck back to fix it because it was sold "as-is" but they did, reluctantly. Now we are trying to renew the tags on the truck (we simply had tags transferred last time) it was not able to pass emissions. Low and behold the check engine light was blown so who knows how long it had actually been on. After sinking another $2,500 into the truck to get the knock sensors, catalytic converter, and intake gaskets replaced it still failed emissions. We pulled the dash out to look instrument cluster (where the check engine light is) and found it had been replaced by a SALVAGE YARD! So now we will have to replace the entire cluster costing an additional $400-$500 just for the part - not including labor. Please know we understand this was a used vehicle and with that we expected to have to fix some things here and there. But to have not been told of the work that had been previously done and told that it was a running, well working vehicle, and the check engine light was not on was obviously misleading to obtain the sale. For all we know this owner knew of the issues the car had and was just trying to get it off the lot at the cost of the customer. I would NOT recommend buying a car from Mike's. Please do yourself a favor and look else where. *Updated: Only weeks after the repairs above were completed, the transmission started going out. We are now almost $5,000 into repairs not even a year after buying the vehicle.

Buyer Beware - Avoid Finance Manager Markis Williams** I…read morerecently purchased a vehicle from Newton Chevrolet GMC, and while the sales team was fine, the financing process with **Markis Williams** was easily the worst dealership experience I've ever had. If you deal with him, watch your paperwork closely. He was completely untransparent, shady about the numbers, and misled me about my credit score just to push me into a high-interest loan that benefited his numbers, not mine. On top of the financing tricks, he aggressively pushed an expensive extended warranty. When I later exercised my right to cancel that warranty, Markis had an absolute unprofessional meltdown. A customer choosing to cancel a product should never be met with an attitude or an emotional outburst from a manager. **The bottom line:** I have already refinanced away from their lender and clawed back my warranty refund, so they lost out on that extra commission anyway. Save yourself the massive headache--if you buy here, demand a different finance manager who actually respects transparency and professionalism. On a positive note Tyler reid aka Reid did an amazing job as my salesperson would highly recommend him if You do decide to go there

Made it half way home and oil pressure sending unit went out leaving hubby stranded. After 10 phone calls I finally got dealer to send a tow truck. 2-3 days later called to check on status. Nobody answers or return calls after message. Finally get through only to be YELLED AT by the owner who gets mad when I ask where truck is. Tells me he doesn't know. WHAT? You have my check for $12K so FIND OUT. He says he'll just tear the check up and all the papers and keep it. Then he HANGS UP ON ME...ALRIGHTY THEN. Calls me back and I let hubby answer. Never would answer hubby as to why he was rude & hateful to me. Tells him truck ready. Wanted us to drive back and pick it up. NOPE. You bring to me. Then when truck registration & title comes through IT IS WRONG NAME, WRONG COUNTY AND NOT EVEN MY TAG as he had the current tag number we were changing it to. Call dealer for 2 days. Finally answers and says I'm paying $51 for tags, etc that HE GOT WRONG? NO. 2wks later we find out truck had alternate programming which hid the fact that multiple cylinders were misfiring. $5K and NEW engine later we FINALLY have a good truck. I HOPE. CUSTOMER SERVICE? YEAH RIGHT...ZERO STARS if I could. BUYERS BEWARE

I would do it again and again with Ernie Cook & Son Motor Sales. Treated with respect. They gave us a great deal and we didn't have to negotiate on anything.
