They hesitated taking the truck back to fix it because it was sold "as-is" but they did, reluctantly. Now we are trying to renew the tags on the truck (we simply had tags transferred last time) it was not able to pass emissions. Low and behold the check engine light was blown so who knows how long it had actually been on. After sinking another $2,500 into the truck to get the knock sensors, catalytic converter, and intake gaskets replaced it still failed emissions. We pulled the dash out to look instrument cluster (where the check engine light is) and found it had been replaced by a SALVAGE YARD! So now we will have to replace the entire cluster costing an additional $400-$500 just for the part - not including labor. Please know we understand this was a used vehicle and with that we expected to have to fix some things here and there. But to have not been told of the work that had been previously done and told that it was a running, well working vehicle, and the check engine light was not on was obviously misleading to obtain the sale. For all we know this owner knew of the issues the car had and was just trying to get it off the lot at the cost of the customer. I would NOT recommend buying a car from Mike's. Please do yourself a favor and look else where. *Updated: Only weeks after the repairs above were completed, the transmission started going out. We are now almost $5,000 into repairs not even a year after buying the vehicle.

I purchased a Outback Subaru and Dec of 2018 and drove it about 24,000 miles this past year. I…read morerealized that the car has been totaled an I was buying a rebuilt unit. I expected to find some minor problems. I am happy to report that there has been no issued with the car and I am very pleased with the value I received for the price I paid. I drove from Memphis to Bellbuckle to make the deal and realized that should there be minor problems I would have to work out that the distance would force me to use a Memphis dealer. The are other reviews that appear to place the blame on the dealer and not take into consideration the fact that the buyers should have some expectation of the fact that these are used cars that don't have any warranties and they should carefully inspect and drive the cars before a purchase. The owner offered me a chance to take the car to any dealer to have it checked out and have it for several days while this was being done. What more could I as a buyer of a used car with no warranty wanted. Best $15,000 I have ever purchased.

He stated facts without any BS. The car was priced fairly from the outset and I needed little negotiation. 2 days after purchasing the car "AS IS", I had some problems. The owner volunteered to have someone look at the car on a Sunday morning!!!!! The car worked briefly but the problem (check engine light, some electronics did not work) came back. I returned to the dealership. The owner loaned me a car and got the Outback fixed, at his expense. I will return to this dealership.
