I arrived at 10:25 AM and sat in my car for 5 minutes before anyone asked me if I had been helped. Strike 1! My car sat in the service intake bay until 10:43 AM. So much for a 10:30 AM appointment...Strike 2! The service representative who helped me was semi-friendly, but the other representative in the cubicle was dismissive. The waiting area was nice - stocked with coffee, drinks and donuts. There was a good selection of seating choices, including an office suite and a charging station. Kudos 1! Several employees walked by but none of them greeted me despite making eye contact. I can see why some reviewers said the people here weren't friendly. Strike 3! It's 11:12 and my car still hasn't been brought into the service bay. This is not looking good for this dealership. Strike 4! I spoke to my service representative and said the hour they quoted me was almost up. She gave me the spiel about how the times are not guaranteed. I told her if that was the case, they should tell customers that when they make the appointment. Then she said she had no control over what people are told and I pointed out that she has access to those who do. It seems they don't understand that refusing to take accountability doesn't help. So far this has not been a good experience. Strike 5! Finally got finished a little after noon. Well, an hour and a half is not what I would expect for an oil change, especially if you go to the trouble of making an appointment! I have to say the only positive thing about this experience was the waiting area.

My option was to pay $1,500 to get it repaired at home, or Murfreesboro Nissan's Service Director, Austin Betty, told us if we brought it back, he would fix it at no cost to us. Which is exactly what happened. Yes, there was a problem, which no one was happy about. But he went through so much effort and red tape to make sure our car got fixed correctly. Austin not only is a true pro, but a really cool guy as well.

I understand the risks of buying a used vehicle, but a catastrophic failure this quickly is unacceptable and indicates serious issues that should have been caught before the sale. The warranty I purchased did not cover the failure, and the sales manager told me my only option was to buy another vehicle and take a loss on the Santa Fe. That was the only way to recover any of the money I had already spent. I also test‑drove a Kia Sorento on their lot that had obvious front‑end problems. This raises major concerns about the quality of the vehicles they are putting up for sale. It genuinely feels like they are placing unsafe or defective cars on the lot and leaving customers to deal with the consequences. I am extremely disappointed with this dealership and the lack of accountability shown. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them and will be sharing my experience to warn others.

Every once in a while, you come across people who restore your faith that integrity, honesty, and…read moregenuine kindness still exist. In a world where simple human decency sometimes feels harder and harder to find, these people reminded our family that it still exists. Over the past several months, our family found ourselves navigating an unusually difficult situation involving multiple companies, countless phone calls, texts, emails, and what often felt like an endless maze of bureaucracy. Through it all, this group of people consistently stood out. From the very beginning, it became clear that this dealership fosters a culture of honesty, transparency, accountability, and genuine care for people. It's one thing to write values on a wall or tuck them away in some dusty employee handbook. It's another thing entirely to live and operate by them. This group does the latter. Anyone can be pleasant when things are easy. You learn who people really are when nothing about a situation is easy anymore. That's when character shows up--or it doesn't. If someone on this team said they were going to do something, they did it. If they made a promise, they kept their word. If they didn't know an answer, they simply said so instead of making excuses. They communicated openly and candidly, even when the answers weren't easy, because they understand that honesty and candor build tremendous trust--and it did. Character has a funny way of revealing itself over time. You can't fake it for months on end. Eventually, who people really are always rises to the surface. Ours was a long journey, and what impressed us most wasn't anything one person said--it was what this team consistently did. They continued treating our family with the same care, candor, and respect regardless of whether there was anything in it for them. They never made us feel like a burden or acted inconvenienced. They just kept showing up. Again and again. Phone call after phone call. Question after question. Month after month. Not because they had to, but because it's simply who they are. Somewhere along the way, this stopped feeling like interactions with some huge business and started feeling like conversations among friends who genuinely cared. By the end of this journey, they felt less like employees at some dealership and more like extended family. You can't manufacture that. You can't train it and you certainly can't fake it--not for this long you can't. It's simply a reflection of the culture they've built and the character of the people who make up this organization. Businesses in fancy buildings don't build reputations, and corporate logos don't keep promises--people do. At Honda of Murfreesboro, that truth is on full display. At the end of the day, business is business. But character is personal. Long after we've forgotten every phone call, text, email, and every twist and turn along the way, we won't ever forget the way these people treated us. To Heath Elliott, Jeremy, Skyler, Jim, Tanya, Jason, Andrew, Josh, Gage, Kim, Jonathan, Cody and everyone else who played a part in helping our family through this journey: thank you. Your professionalism, transparency, compassion, and unwavering commitment to doing the right thing left a lasting impression on our family that we won't ever forget. If you're looking for more than just a dealership--if you're looking for people whose word actually means something--you'll find them at Honda of Murfreesboro. They've earned our trust and our utmost respect simply by being people of integrity who keep their word.

I began communicating with TJ Potts of Absolute Auto Center regarding the purchase of a 2013 Ford…read moreF-150. During our communications, Mr. Potts represented that the truck was in great condition, had a "super nice interior," and that despite prior accidents, "you couldn't even tell" the vehicle had been involved in four minor-to-moderate accidents. The online listing also advertised the vehicle as a "non-smoker vehicle." Based on these representations, I paid a $500 deposit to secure the truck while paperwork was being completed. During the process, I became uncomfortable with requests to send additional funds without signed paperwork or clear shipping arrangements, so I decided to personally inspect the truck before completing the purchase. I traveled from Columbus, Ohio to Nashville, Tennessee to inspect the vehicle in person. Upon arrival, I immediately discovered a strong cigarette smoke odor throughout the truck, significant dents and scratches on the right side of the vehicle, and a large gash in the sidewall of one tire. These defects were not disclosed prior to my trip and directly contradicted the representations made to me. After confronting the dealership about these issues, I was initially told my deposit would be refunded if I chose not to purchase the truck. However, after declining to proceed with the purchase due to the undisclosed defects and lack of trust in the dealership, the dealership refused to return my $500 deposit. This place is shady and I would never recommend buying a car from them unless you're a mechanic.

Immediately after purchase, I encountered multiple problems. The key fob had a dead battery, and the TPMS light was illuminated due to tire-related issues. These concerns were apparent before I even had time to familiarize myself with the vehicle--there was a non-matching spare tire stored in the trunk, and the vehicle did not include a jack. In addition, within two days, a further issue arose with the backup sensors. I contacted the dealership regarding this matter, and the problem was acknowledged only after the fact. The interior also had an obvious odor of dog, and the vehicle was delivered with approximately two-thirds of a tank of gas. I also found the sales process, particularly the conduct of the salesman (TJ), to be unprofessional. Despite my credit union verifying the transaction and providing payment that was mailed the next day, the salesman's attitude made the process feel reluctant and discourteous. Overall, the dealership provided poor service and left me responsible for addressing problems that should have been corrected or disclosed prior to purchase.
