My wife and I are suing Big Springs Garage in Tullahoma. I would advise everyone to avoid them at all cost. Over $1,800 in parts and labor and 10 weeks in the shop to fix the motor in my car. I pick the car up and the motor blows 4 miles down the road. Then they try to say it's not their fault and that I brought them a "piece of shit car." Real convenient position for them to take after they've taken my money and taken so long to do the repairs. By the way I asked them to swap in a junkyard motor that I had sourced originally. They convinced me to repair the original motor and then acted like I was somehow taking advantage of them when they couldn't fulfill their promise of fixing it.

1. They take a lot of pride in making sure their customers are taken care of, then why did they tell me I brought them a "piece of shit car when I couldn't fix it" and then proceeded to tell me to get out and not come back.
2. I had taken it to Heath automotive prior to taking it to Big Springs Garage. They said the motor was beyond repair and that I needed to swap in a different motor instead. The only reason Heath Automotive did not take the repair is because they were closing their Tullahoma shop and moving to Winchester. When I came to Bug Springs Garage I asked to have a motor swapped not fixed, they said they could fix for reasonable amount of money and it would be more reliable than a junkyard motor. I worked with Heath for over four years and they've always done amazing work on my vehicles.
3. Yes they did do subsequent repairs on the car but that was only after they tried to give the car back while under their own admission the motor they had just fixed could "blowup at any moment." Told me they were not responsible and I needed to pay them and move on. It was only after I threatened legal action that they took the car back for a second repair that still did not fix the motor I brought to them and asked them to replace.
4. I did not bring it back to them immediately after the motor failed on the road because they had already had the car for 10 weeks (which time I was borrowing my employers car), seems incapable of doing the repairs required, would not hold to quotes they had given customers, and had previous threats of legal action. I instead took it to another garage in town who confirmed two things. First that the repairs done by Big Springs Garage to repair the motor they said they would repair was inadequate and second the condition of my motor was beyond repair and that my initial request of swapping in a different motor was the correct course of action. After confirming that it was their fault and that he repairs that led to my car breaking down after leaving their shop was incomplete, I returned to ask for a refund for the work they had done.
