I had a very good experience with Shelby Motors. Both Dave and Mo were very attentive and kind to my daughter who was very anxious about buying her first car. They even offered lower priced options within her budget and negotiated a good price for the car she wanted ---and they were the ones that offered to lower the price! DO NOT BUY FROM SHELBY MOTORS - THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A DISABLED SENIOR CITIZEN My dad, a disabled senior citizen, was sold a lemon by Shelby Motors in Springfield, MA. The car has had problems from day one, and the dealership has done nothing but make things worse. He brought the car back for repairs, and not only did they fail to fix the issue, but they also left tools under the hood on the engine and tossed the undercar cover in the trunk--completely careless and unprofessional. They claimed the problem was resolved, but it wasn't. My dad had to take it to his own mechanic and pay out of pocket to fix what Shelby Motors claimed they had already done. And guess what? The car is still having problems. To make matters worse, they sold his old car, which he had traded in, even though it was broken, so now he's left with a faulty vehicle and no way to get back what he had. Shelby Motors, and specifically Dave, have been completely unhelpful. My dad has called multiple times with no response. They clearly don't care once the sale is done. Shelby Motors should be ashamed of how they've treated my father. This is not just bad business -- it's predatory and unethical behavior. We will be reporting this to the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, the Better Business Bureau, and will be consulting a lemon law attorney. Do not trust this dealership. Bought a truck and the heat stopped working on my way home. made an appointment with the dealer and brought it back but they "didn't know" I was coming and weren't ready for me. brought it back a week later for them to fix and the mechanic actually copped an attitude and argued with me when I told him it still wasn't working. now they've had it for a week and in the rare chance I actually get them to answer the phone they just tell me "they're working on it..." guy told me he'd call me back in 10 minutes today, but 2 hours later I hadn't heard back. finally got him on the phone, obviously im frustrated so I asked what was going on and he told me he would have someone else call me because he's not here to argue with me. BUYERS BE AWARE!!!! I purchased a car from this dealership three months ago and it was headache after headache after headache... They took advantage of me, not sure maybe because i'm a woman that gave them the benefit of the doubt and let my guard down. The same day we took the car, the car started to overheat. We took it back to the dealership as it had a 30-day warranty. Once it was supposedly fixed, we experienced another major issue so we took it back because were were still under the warranty. The last time they kept the car for over a week and they advised they would take it for an inspection as well. (Little did i know they were buying themselves time for the warranty to run out). Upon getting the car back, they did not provide the inspection paperwork nor did they provide any documentation of the work that was done with the car. The car drove okay for under a month and then major issues began again. This time making the car undriveable. The water pump! Funny story, the last time the car went to their shop they stated they were replacing the water pump which was a lie! Not only did they not fix the water pump but they also disengaged the check engine system, so we are not able to identify the issue with a code. Even an advanced scanner couldn't detect the issue. We are now passed the warranty of course as Shelby Motors knew that the issue would be obvious and much worse and they would clean their hands since the warranty is over. We are now left with a car that we paid $7K cash for with having to replace the water pump and timing belt. Shelby Motors knew of the issue but they decided to do as little as possible to buy themselves time and allow for the warranty to run out. If you can help it do not go to this place. If there is something wrong with the car that would result in over $1K of labor work, they will make sure they are not responsible for it. This has been truly my worst experience ever with an automobile place. Google shouldn't even allow a one star for these kinds of reviews because in my eyes it's a negative 5. read more

WOW!! This place will use an abuse the people who come in an look at there cars. THEY JACK Up There Prices as soon as you sit down an they see how much you make! An while "waiting" for them to approve us they made us put a 1000+ dollar down. Which wasn't refundable ! They didn't even tell us this until we gave them every document they needed . (Even that: They kept asking us for the same documents a week later! ) after all said and done when he told them we would be there, they canceled on us 17hrs before picking it up. Telling us we forfeit our money that we already put down an now that our credit took such a hit they couldn't find us another creditor. If you know your worth please Avoid buying a vehicle from here. **WARNING** Update on the truck I bought in July 2018. The day it hit the 6th month mark of owning it, the transmission went. So now I'm out $3000 on a transmission. I will never and would never suggest buying a vehicle from this place ever again. Like I said, 99% of the vehicles they sell are junk. We are now having more and more problems the truck. All stuff they never once mentioned. Extremely dishonest people who aren't willing to help at all. Forgot to mention when I bought the truck, the tank was on empty. They wouldn't even fill the tank. *WARNING* Dishonest and rude. I spoke to them several times about a car before driving over an hour (each way) to get there. The craigslist ad and the people who I spoke with never mentioned the vehicle was in such poor condition. Didn't even test drive it. It was that bad. When I expressed my irritation the salesman said "Well, our pictures can be deceiving. You don't want this car anyways it will only give you problems." Then promptly showed me 3 other cars that were not what I wanted and covered in rust. I wish someone would have been honest prior to me dragging my wife and 3 kids on a two hour fruitless road trip. In response to one of their craigslist adds, I drove two hours and took time off of work to go look at this car that I was going to buy. After test driving it I realized it was not in excellent condition as it was described. It was in good condition. I was ready to put money down then he told me the price was $800 more then the craigslist add. He told me the craigslist add Was wrong. I politely asked him to match the online price as listed.. Sales people are sketchy and kind of scary. I bough an extended warranty and they never processed the paperwork for it. When I questioned it the sales man Nour screamed at me that I shouldn't make problems and I have no right to call warranty company and should only talk to him. Bought my car here a few months ago. Had to replace whole exhaust system and already have more problems. Exhaust 100% would have not passed inspection so take it to get inspected yourself don't let them take it to save you the $35. Check engine light came on couple days after purchased and tried to make me fix it myself even though it was still under warranty. read more
