On our way back from an even my nearby, we stopped by on a Sunday evening. The location was busy. Staff busy preparing food, we assumed it would be quick takeaway. First the limited options for vegans and vegetarians. Second after we ordered we see that the cleaning and cross contamination protocols were perhaps being not followed. So we had to tell the supervisor that we were vegetarians and vegans and wanted some gloves changed and prepping area cleaned for our food. Kudos to the staff for accepting that request for us - but not for in between orders. The food came out 50 minutes later. We were tired and ate in. The vegan falafel wrap was OK. The only redeeming thing was the bread. All else we can get elsewhere cheaper, faster and perhaps tastier. The vegan falafel bowl - again disappointing and exactly as above. The quantity was as well disappointing. The quesadilla was good. Halloumi does not stick as mozzarella and also falafel does not go well in a quesadilla. Our bad for having tried this combo. We had great expectations after watching so many shorts for Shelby and we were taken by all the hype.

The chicken wrap was so tasty and juicy. The sauces really complimented the meat and toppings. The service was good and quick. This really nice. They have seating and an outdoor patio. This place is good for takeout

This food was delicious. It came relatively quickly and I had a whole wrap to myself. I ordered it with spicy garlic sauce and beef bacon and beef shawarma and throughly enjoyed it. I also ordered the zaatar fries and they were delicious with the sauce and seasoning. The vibes of the place and branding was great. Watching the YouTube shorts really gave me an idea of what to expect but I loved seeing the Pepsi called Diet Bebsi on the receipt. Would go back and my family often caters from here for parties on the weekend. Definitely would recommend anytime you want a great and tasty meal

Legendary Shawarma indeed. Quite possibly one of the best wraps I've had even since moving to the GTA. The whole Shelbys experience is just so refined. From the point of ordering, to unboxing your shawarma, to your last bite... everything is just so well through out. The Shawarma: The freshly made saj bread has the perfect elasticity that gives it a nice bite. The open flame that they use prior to the press also adds a nice hint of char to the wrap. The chicken, fries, turnips, and the garlic sauce just comes together so well. This is also the first Shawarma wrap that I've had where I was able to finish it without needing a job. The Kunafa: So delicious. Nice cheesy, flakey pastry soaked in a very light syrup that doesn't overpower the other flavours. Oh and the pistachio. Price is also unbeatable. Really wish this was open when I was at Brock.

Such a let down as compared to the London branch. The staff is also clueless. Ambiance is okay. Food didn't taste as great as well

They make their ice cream and gelato in-house and the staff are very friendly and patient. They let you try out multiple flavors before you choose. The only thing standing between you and your decision is the impatient customer ms in the lineup behind you. Lol They offer seasonal flavors like peach, blueberry, strawberry and also variety of chocolate and coffee flavors. This place is a must-try.

Upon walking-in on a Saturday afternoon, we were kindly greeted by the server behind the counter. He told us which ice cream flavours had vegan, and which did not. Upon choosing our flavours, which consisted of raspberry, hazelnut, and strawberry; we were given a large helping, and headed outdoors. When tasting vegan ice cream, one would know that it was vegan. However, this ice cream masked that difference perfectly; you couldn't even tell that it was vegan ice cream! It was absolutely DELICIOUS; we were beyond impressed with how wonderful it tasted. We would definitely come back here again, as we only like to eat vegan ice cream, and this parlour definitely impressed us with how delicious the ice cream was.

4.5 In honour of…read morereceiving my Elite 23' badge, I'll finalllly drop my review for this place lol. I visited this bakery 2-3 times in 2022, so It's probably about time I did my review. Let me start by saying there are not many authentic French bakeries outside the downtown core, so it's such a relief when you finally find one in the GTA. In comes Tradition de France. Right when you walk in, you are greeted with a "Bonjour!". They offer a wide variety of items but I mostly just come for the croissants and more specifically now, the almond croissants. I'm not gonna lie, they're pricey. It's $6 for one almond croissant BUT, take a look at my pictures. The size of one of these is my face+. You're insane if you think I personally, could finish one of these in one sitting lol. This is defs a two-part pastry lol. This croissant is so big and does not look like your average croissant but boy is it GOOD. It's buttery, no fake almond extract taste present and the almond filing texture is just right. It's filled to the point where the bottom of the croissant gets a little soggy, which is exactly what I look for in an almond croissant. The plain butter croissant is also perfect. Flaky and buttery with all the layers. Again, it's so hard to find authentic French bakeries outside of Toronto, so Tradition de France is a good place to start, if you're looking to get your croissant fix.
