However I can comment on just stopping by to grab some drinks or a snack! This location is super clean compared to many nearby and the staff are always nice but not overly friendly. Basically Coke Zero's and Bang energy drinks. I have started this water drinking thing so I still make myself drink the amount of water I need in a day, but allow myself treats now and then... What does it say about me that I actually have to make myself drink enough water? Gah! Today I was excited to find that they had Koia protein drinks on sale! Buy 1 get 1. Anyone who is a fan of the drink knows it's a great deal. I wish they had the keto version but the regular is about 6 net carbs so a great stand in if you need it. Which I do, because I am currently rocking a bunch of stitches in my gob and chewing isn't my current movement of the moment if you get me. Parking is pretty easy and they sell firewood. Not sure why the firewood would matter but I thought I'd note it. The area with fresh snacks is always neat and tidy. They have a lot of different items a keto devotee could use to survive. When he realized that people were standing at there register, no hello, and kept talking on his phone. Took the first customers items, scanned them and the customer left. Me being the second customer, didn't say anything to me whatsoever, rang me up while he was STILL talking on his phone. Got into my car with the food I bought from the warmer and my food wasn't even hot. Biting through mini tacos and having it half cooked is insane. Definitely not coming back to this 7-11. Worst experience I've ever had at a 7-11. Very rude attendant and horrible food.

All of a sudden I hear 2 grown men screaming "Mam" in a chorus as if they were one unit. I didn't turn because the gas station was full of people and they were screaming from ten feet away. Finally I turned and they screamed at me "could you move" but the car had already driven by. Then they kept loudly coming by my pump and saying "have a nice day" in voices and tones that basically meant anything but. Upsetting my dog. I think this is pretty typical behavior for them. That the diesel offered at this station is advertised as Diesel #2. When I arrived I went it to pay for my tank and in very fine print it says the diesel contains at least 20% biomass making it Biodiesel NOT Diesel #2. Many cars such as mine cannot take Biodiesel as it damages the engine within even a few uses. Extremely misleading and even dangerous advertising. And it's ultimately a cash grab. When I thought this up with management, it was explained away as a "California thing". After research this was just straight up false. It's just a cash grab. Biodiesel costs much less to the station than Diesel #2. This is a frankly disgusting business practice and needs to be exposed. If they lie about this I wonder what else they lie about...

After I told him what package I wanted to go with, the middle tier, he instantly told me to do a more expensive package. He didn't suggest, he just told me to do it, to which I declined. Regarding the actual car wash, it was very low quality. I had removed everything from our car leaving them plenty of room to clean and wash the interior of the car. However, they ran it through the machine, spent a roughly two minutes barely drying it and wiping down the interior, and called it good. The exterior still had water around the car leaving streaks when it dried, and the interior still had lots of debris and dust on the floor, seats, dashboard, and doors. As far as Gas Stations go, this Chevron really deserves a fair word…read more Sure it was closed for a while but they reopened a year or so ago and it's now a reliably A-OK place to fill your tank and shop for snacks when you exit West on I-5 to La Costa Ave. It's awesome that the credit card prices for this station's gas are actually the same as the "discounted" cash only prices at the Mobil Station located approx. 1/2 mile South on 101 in Leucadia! What's also COOL about this place is that many of the people who stop here are locals and are cheerfully willing to initiate a friendly conversation while you are filling up. At first this unnerved me, since I moved to the area from SF and LA, as I mistakenly thought that I was gonna be "jacked" when complete strangers began speaking to me. My initial responses were therefore pretty taciturn as I discreetly began un-clipping the lil ol pepper spray canister in my pocket! What's NOT COOL is that the entrances/exits to this station are on a road that quickly merges from two lanes to one and certain douche-bag drivers will "floor it" in to the merging lane unaware that there are also cars trying to enter and leave the station. Just about every weekend I see near misses here as people almost get broadsided by these clueless speeding dipsh*ts! What's the rush people?!
