I would actually give this place less than a story if I could, but you don't have that here so the customer service here is not that great just goes to show even more when you order online was staying at a hotel nearby. Decided to get two drinks, big gulps a pizza chips and doughnuts was disappointed when DoorDash brought me an uncooked pizza in the box wrong drinks, not even correct cops and have repeatedly called DoorDash and 711 to where I just get a voicemail. No one had done anything until I finally reached out to the driver and DoorDash, but even then it was just myself taken care of it with DoorDash very unacceptable service by 711 you can do better and if you have people sending out pizza uncooked then that means they obviously don't care about business read more

Came in here last minute needing my propane tank to be refilled. The clerk asked me to wait since her coworker was on lunch. I waited a while and when the store finally slowed down, she rushed over to refill my propane tank since she felt bad for making me wait and I thought that was so kind. It only cost about $19.95 to refill my 20 lb tank..thank goodness this place was close because it's difficult to find places that refill your tanks without having to exchange tanks. This 7-Eleven is NOT providing great coffee. They are either saving on the amount of coffee they use to brew, or on the coffee filters. The coffee tastes like socks. I stopped by this morning at around 6:35am, and drove away with a Large cup of Hazelnut coffee. It was gross! I drove back about an hour later to exchange the coffee, I dumped the hazelnut, and got the 7-Eleven brew next to the Colombian. It was awful as well, so I HAD to add Hazelnut packs to make it taste decent. Boycott this coffee until they brew it properly, these money saving schemes work because we drive away and taste the coffee once we have left. TASTE THE COFFEE BEFORE YOU PAY! read more

Our grandfather, and then passed to our uncle, used to own this 711 and it was known for so many things, it was a family store, the wonderful customer service and the cleanliness. the people that worked there loved it. Our whole family worked there. They kept the store super clean. when I worked for Coca-Cola as a merchandiser they told me that the walk-in cooler was the cleanest cooler of the all 711's and the store was always clean. We walked in tonight and the Man at the counter was rude. Didn't even acknowledge us. He was on his phone. My Slurpee was $1.08. I did not have any change so I gave him 2 dollars and he asked me if I had eight cents. I said no and he shook his head and gave me back my dollar. He said not to worry about it and I said it's OK I'll take the coins cause I collect coins and he would not let me and said don't worry about it. He's said go look in your car for change and I said no I don't have any in my car but if you want to give me the change from the $2, it's OK I'll take the change so you don't have to pay my eight cents. He said no. I'm guessing he didn't have any change in his drawer. The floor was disgusting and the counters by the soda machine was disgusting. The food looked disgusting. everything looked like a mess, but I took photos of the floor, cause I didn't wanna be too obvious you know, but it was super gross in there. It's so sad to see a store that was so lovely to go to became a disgusting Dirty shit show. Our grandfather would be so disappointed to see what it has become and I hope my uncle never walks in here to see it. Very huge attitude with this store employee. I was there picking up my order. The chicken wings are obviously over cooked and they are all black. I simply cannot eat something like that. Told the employee that I need to change to another one that was properly cooked. The male employee was being very rude, told me this was simply their way of cooking stuff. Can't believe when I heard this. I said this is the attitude you treat customers? The guy all of a sudden asked my name and phone number. Excuse me? I was never insulted like that by a retail employee. I told him my name and said is there a problem? He said yes. And then, took my entire order and told me they don't service customer with attitude. Omg, they are the ones that have attitude and being so rude. Another female employee was there all the time and said nothing, consenting what this guy was doing. I can't comment on getting fuel here because I usually go to the gas station across the street. Being such a creature of habit and all. However I can comment on just stopping by to grab some drinks or a snack! This location is super clean compared to many nearby and the staff are always nice but not overly friendly. I never feel like I'm being taken for hostage with tedious conversation when all I want to do is grab my drinks and go! I pop in here mainly for my bad girl drinks. Basically Coke Zero's and Bang energy drinks. I have started this water drinking thing so I still make myself drink the amount of water I need in a day, but allow myself treats now and then... What does it say about me that I actually have to make myself drink enough water? Gah! Today I was excited to find that they had Koia protein drinks on sale! Buy 1 get 1. Anyone who is a fan of the drink knows it's a great deal. I wish they had the keto version but the regular is about 6 net carbs so a great stand in if you need it. Which I do, because I am currently rocking a bunch of stitches in my gob and chewing isn't my current movement of the moment if you get me. Parking is pretty easy and they sell firewood. Not sure why the firewood would matter but I thought I'd note it. The area with fresh snacks is always neat and tidy. They have a lot of different items a keto devotee could use to survive. Cheese and such for the win! Oh! One thing Camilla the Yelping Hen noted was that this location is Avian friendly! She said she would feel comfortable shopping at this inclusive establishment. I usually love this place, I work very close so it's always my go to gas station. But idk what this new guys problem is. I came in tonight after my shift and I noticed their was a new guy with tattoos, i walk in and notice he's mopping, in one of the wet spots I had to walk on because it was in the walk way, he notices and screams "are you fuckin kidding me" and throws the mop down. At first I didn't know if he was talking to me or not. Then when I get to the register he throws my gum and tries to scan it, then after scanning it he starts slamming the computer. After that I left because theirs no way I wanted to buy anything off of him. After that I went back into my car and noticed every person that went in after me didn't buy anything because of his attitude. Idk I love this place it always has great service. But if I were to ever see that man in there again it's either going to be an argument or me never going again. I've been coming here for years and the people running this gas station are beyond friendly and helpful. It gets busy, and things happen out if anyone's control. Come right on time for July 11th which is 7-Eleven day, the staff here were very nice and polite, they got pretty good space with all the products very well stocked, instead of getting my free small slurpee, I decided I would go ahead and order the extra large one, it helps on a hot summer day, also reminded me the time before Covid-19 when you could bring your own container and fill it up with slurpee, how I miss those days read more

I visit 7-11s on a daily basis all over the county. For the most part customer service is good. The exception is this store and ONE employee. Ther is a Hispanic female with dark hair in her 40s that works at this store. Every single time I visit this store, she always has a bitchy attitude. I'll start by saying I'm really impressed with the wide selection and variety of products and items that this 7-Eleven carries. Additionally, I'm also impressed with the cleanliness of the store overall on the inside, as well as the outside. This is why I gave it two stars instead of one star. I've only been to this location one other time and the Indian gentleman who was working the last time I was here was very friendly and extremely helpful. Which is why I initially gave this place four out of five stars. However tonight, I was with my friend and we stopped in the store to grab something quick to eat and something to drink and there was an older skinny gentleman, white male, with thick rim black glasses who was working and he was perhaps one of the least friendly, most rude individuals either of us have ever encountered. You could tell he absolutely hated being there, and despite us asking how his night was going and trying to be friendly with him, he was just a total prick. When we first arrived, my friend had some empty wrappers and empty soda water in his car that he put in a plastic grocery bag and tied the bag off and neatly placed it into the trash bin in front of the store, apparently that really made this employee angry because he gave us the dirtiest looks then proceeded to eyeball us the entire time we were in the store. It's really unfortunate that regardless of how good the vast majority of employees at a store can be, one bad apple so to speak can truly ruin it for the rest. We will not be coming back to this location or giving our business to this store ever again. If you are in the customer service industry, it's really very simple and not that hard to treat people with respect and not be a jerk. I mean seriously, no one asked for the red carpet to be rolled out ha ha but common courtesy and treating someone like a human should be a given. read more

Love coming to this Carlsbad store after work. All the staff is amazing. In particular, a lady named Lorena. She was patient with me as I forgot my wallet in the car. Rang me up after the next customer in line. Then proceeded to ask me how my day is going. Even made the older gentlemen in front of me laugh. This 7-Eleven is a go-to for me. I exchanged a propane tank at a different 7-11 location. After a few hours with it in my car with the windows up it smelled terrible and I knew the propane was leaking. With my family in the car, we didn't want to drive all the way home with the gas leaking so we went to this store and explained the issue. Pattie and Sandy were very helpful and understanding. They called the owner and explained the situation and let us exchange the tank even though we had purchases it at a different location. This has got to be the nicest staff I have ever seen at a 7-11. Parking can be a bit challenging at times, but if you are headed East on Palomar Airport road it's pretty easy to get in here. I was craving an orange juice this morning so I stopped in. They have your typical 7-11 selection, but there are like three employees working at a time and they clearly understand the area they are in and don't make you wait. I walked up to pay and there was a guy ahead of me. Another employee immediately walked up and opened his register and apologized for me having to wait... I was a little blown away. I have to hold this 7-Eleven accountable for their terribly dangerous parking situation. They have seat level brick flower planters all along their front and side areas to their building. Parking cruises right in toward those seat level planters all day and evening long every single day. Unfortunately, they have nothing in place to protect people sitting on those planters from the drivers. A woman lost both legs here recently. She lost them both above the knee when a car (sober but new driver) cruised into his parking space and misjudged his brake. There are no signs posted to keep people off these seats. No strategically placed poles or anything else to protect from impact. 7-Eleven left the area blood spattered for about a week and finally simply replaced the bricks the car took out as though nothing had ever happened. I still see people perched right there whenever I drive past. Their food items can be old and prices are on the high side even for a 7-Eleven. read more

This always happens to me. I'm buying milk on a Friday night for my kids while everyone else is buying 40's, beer cases, cigarettes and alcohol. Staff was cool and made me laugh by asking if that's all I was going to purchase. I said, "yep". Friendly people, clean floors, organized aisles and a Redbox outside the store. They have all the same refreshments as any other location. Clerks are nice on most days. They have had a this location. Price is a little higher than most places. Quality of gas isn't as good as chevron or shell. There are only 4 pumps and they accept credit cards. They also have a Redbox out front.
