Apparently opening in October, it has built a little reputation for amazing and authentic Mexican food, and that was enough to entice me to try! The menu is small, but that does not mean the flavor is! I got to try the chorizo (sausage) burrito and beef quesadilla and enjoyed them. Their offerings are assembled right in front of you and able to be customized to satisfy your taste. You know it's a great place when a long line forms while your order is being assembled! They serve from 7am-2pm on weekdays (not sure about availability on weekends). I am happy to find another place to enjoy when I am visiting my hometown! This is Chevron station #52186. It's located on the west side of Georgia 400 at the highway's…read moreintersection with Settingdown Circle, next door to the 400 Flea Market. It's very close to Hampton Golf Village, which is why I chose to fill up here. In fact, the convenience store (Kwik Mart) has a golf shoe cleaner outside the entrance. I had to create the Yelp listing for this Chevron, which is kind of surprising considering this Chevron has been here since at least October 2007 according to Google Street View. This Chevron has eight standard pumps and then a separate pumping area for diesel; I believe off-road diesel only. The pumps were old and worn; probably could use refurbishment or replacement. The screens / prices were hard to read. Despite what the Chevron website said, the pumps here did not accept NFC (contactless) payment. Most of the pumps were either out of order / no gas or had a sign posted on them that said you couldn't pay outside, so you had to go inside to pay. I think there were only a couple pumps where you could actually pay outside with card. The paper towel dispensers were out of paper towels (usually never a problem at a chain like QT) and the gas prices were relatively expensive, but at least my receipt printed fine. This Chevron was offering GetUpside free cash back when I visited, but the amount was only $0.01 per gallon back. Better than nothing. If you're not familiar with or never used the GetUpside app before, it's a no-brainer for free cash back on gas, food, and other purchases. It's also nice to have if you hit up a bunch of different gas stations like I do. Use my invite code DANIEL66482 to get an extra $0.15 per gallon back the first time you use the app. There's no catch or gimmick, as far as I can tell, and I've been using the app regularly since summer 2020.

Let me start with I'm in my fifty's, driving a 1 year old truck. In my opinion I don't look the type to gas and dash. Stopped here to get gas, scanned my card and put the pump in the tank. Gas wouldn't pump and with a closer look I saw it was still processing my card. I wait, I wait, I wait and still just says processing. I'm about to give up, hang up the pump and start over when it starts working. I pump just north of $100, I never bother with a receipt, so I hang up the pump and start to get into my truck, when the guy working there comes running out yelling at me! I get out so I can hear what he's saying and he's telling me I've got to pay. I immediately apologize and now understand what happened. The guy working there started the pump for me despite my CC not processing. Point 1, clearly this guy working there felt I was responsible enough to pay, thus starting the pump without my CC. Of course to me I can't see the difference between my card being accepted and the guy working activating the pump. Point 2, after he activated the pump he never let me know he activated it and I needed to come in and pay. Again, as soon as I realized what happened I apologize. Note my first apology was from a distance and the guy might not have heard me. When I entered the store I immediately apologized again with no acknowledgment from the guy. He rings me up and I apologize again with no response from the guy. Now I'm pissed! The guy hands me my receipt and I walk out with the guy still saying nothing! To the owner/Valero I hope you see this and address the issue. For reference it happened today (9/10/23 @ 4:10pm) I highly suggest you review your video recording to confirm my story. In addition, I have my receipt to confirm. Until this is acknowledged I suggest anyone seeing this to avoid this location! To the owner if you wish to discuss and have your employee apologize for his inexcusable behavior I will consider removing this review.

the manager at this location is terrible. i have never had such a bad experience here. i have been…read moregoing to this racetrac basically every morning for the last 5 years. i work on the road so i am always there. a few weeks ago, i went in for some food. they have two different flavors of empanada. beef and chicken. and they were switched around last time, so when i thought i was buying a beef one i got a chicken. i brushed it off and figured it was a one time mistake. and today i go in to get a beef empanada, and the same thing happened. i am a very anxious person. i never go in to fast food places when they get my order wrong, i never ask for the waitress because of a wrong order, and i never return things to stores if they are broken or the wrong size. i usually just deal with it so i don't have to have those interactions. but today, i was very hungry and low on time. so i went back in to ask for an exchange because it really was not that big of a deal. and the man behind the counter (who didn't do anything wrong. he was really nice.) asked me to let the man cooking know. so i, very politely, told the man in the kitchen. and turns out, that man was the manager supposedly! and when i told him, he raised his voice and tried to argue with me! sir.... i know what cow tastes like and i know what chicken tastes like. you CANNOT tell me i am wrong when my tastebuds, eyes, and nose work perfectly fine. it got to the point where i set my exchanged empanada down, and left in tears. i tried so hard and worked up the courage to do this for the first time, and he just yells at me. i have seen this man at least once a week. and this is how he treats his regulars when HIS store is in the wrong? disgusting. i will never be back to this location, or any location near here just in case he is helping another store with their shifts. this experience was unbelievable. if i could give 0 stars (or even negative stars) i would.

It was clean without trash and the receipt printer worked well. Inside, a huge selection of food and drink! Pizza, grilled roller meats, and surprising frozen yogurt machines with toppings. Brew-to-order coffee with an assortment of creamers and sweeteners. Beer and wine including a "beer cave" of cold ones. The restrooms were amazingly clean. It was unexpected. No papers on the floor, no spilled water on the counters, stocked toilet paper. Clean enough that my lady friend even mentioned how nice it was on that side! Five stars for a gas station? Yep!

Just pass through the light then turn right into the parking lot. There is always plenty of easy parking available. Usually my stop is to use the restroom and make pick up a drink. The fuel prices seem reasonable but I am an EV driver so I don't know. On this stop I picked up some chicken strips. Three strips for $6 seems steep but is ok if they are good. They were not. They were hot enough. The breading was salty, thick, and needed some seasoning. The first strip I ate tasted ok. The second strip was mostly cooked but undercooked along one edge, like they overloaded the basket. The third strip was overcooked. The pizza looked descent but can I eat that while driving? Probably not. I will keep stopping here but not for the tendies.
