This is the Shell gas station on East Dunne, near Hwy 101 in Morgan Hill, CA. It has a large set of fuel islands, a carwash, and a small "foodmart." It has a great location near the freeway, and at the entrance to a shopping center. My job finished up in Morgan Hill on a Tuesday night, so I stopped here to get gas and some snacks. First impression, the place looked run down. Also, the foodmart isn't really a foodmart, it's just a quickie convenience store (c-Store). It has coffee, drinks, beverage coolers, candy, lotto, and cigs. The merchandising displays are a little weird, the potato chips are on a back endcap facing the coolers. If you really need groceries, there's a Safeway across the parking lot. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. I asked about the carwash code, and decided to tryout the $13 carwash. Geez, pretty fast carwash for $13. Yes, it's soapy, uses alot of mechanical brushes, and drying blowers. When I first exited the carwash I noticed alot of tiny black specks on my vehicle. Maybe from recycled wash water? Anyway, these specks were gone when I got home after the 60 mile drive on the freeway. How was the wash? Carwash, Grade (2/5): Pretty quick wash and dry for $13. Misses alot of lower areas and wheels. Yeah, it's shiny and clean. Foodmart, Grade (1/5): This isn't a foodmart, it's a gas station C-store. Probably super busy in the morning with all the coffee air pots they had on the counter. Overall, not very roomy around the racks and displays. Service, Grade (3/5): Friendly and prompt service, with Covid-19 safeguards in place. I didn't ask to use the restroom. Overall, a fair place to stop if you just need gas and snacks. Skip the carwash, unless your vehicle is really dirty. There's a Safeway and a CVS nearby if you need groceries or HABA (health and beauty items). Made the decision to turn in and fill up the tank since it was on E and knowing damn well I wouldn't be able to make it home. Thank goodness this Shell was super close to the vicinity that I was in but that's kind of where the good stuff ends... I ended up at pump #6 and I couldn't help but get frustrated by the sluggish pace. It felt like gas was trickling from the spout!! Yeah, I'm sure this is an exaggeration but at the moment, I really felt like it was!! Lmao. 2 stars because this gas station came through when I really needed it and there was no line to deal with. This is for the poorly run and managed carwash. This has happened on numerous occasions but this is the last straw. The $11 option does not dispense soap at all. It also does not rinse the car with much water before the brushes are applied. Basically, I've received a dry wash with surface dirt being scrubbed and left for the "wax" and final rinse. Also, the blow dry starts while rinsing is still active and a red light is shone. In effect, users lose dryer time. At the end, my car is left with dirt residue on the hood and all windows. Please fix these problems ASAP. read more

Consistently bad or non-existent service for the many years I've lived here. I recently went there since my toddler daughter saw the car wash and wanted to go through and the car needed a wash anyways. The machines of course never print the ticket and good luck if you try to go in as it was all locked up when we were there and there was no one in sight. There have been many other times when the ticket wouldn't print and I remember getting attitude when I'd go in. I stopped going a long time ago. Happy! Today I came for gas and a car wash. Normally there are never any receipt papers in the machines and I get mad when I have to go inside wait in line to get a receipt for the car wash. I bought the ultimate last time and the under body wash was not working. This time it is. I can only hope that management will continue to serve their customers with conveniences of printing receipts at the pump and also a fully operational car wash. Now I only pray the blower stays on for the full length it represents on the countdown display.. nothing worse than paying for a car wash and driving away with a wet or spotted car. Unfortunately the paper has not been maintained. I went inside and spoke with a big gal named Serena he said let me call my manager she called her manager or manager told me to call the one 800 number to report my complaint to get reimbursement. My tire pressure was very low so my husband and I went to add air to my tires. It's pouring rain and by the time we went to our 3rd tire the machine shut down. We added another $1.50 and then realized the pump line had a hole in it. Since we were already soaking wet we decided to just finish the 3rd and 4th tire. I proceeded into the cashier to let them know that we had spent $3 when it's not suppose to take that long. The cashier (Ruby) didn't even greet me when I came in. I waited for several seconds when I couldn't wait anymore and approached her instead. When I told her of the broken line she replied "why did you wait until you spent $3 and not tell us right away" I proceeded to tell her we didn't realize it until half way in and my tire pressure was low and it was soaking wet outside. Then my blood boiled because her customer service was horrid! She basically had an excuse for everything when all I wanted to do is tell her the machine isn't working properly. She said so many people used it before me and no complaints were made. I asked for her managers number or a complaint line and she ended up giving me the number of the store. I got outside to my car and tried to call and she picked up. It was shady! She never once told me she was giving me the number to where she would pick up and file her own. Complaint! I lost it at that point and told her that her customer service was shit. One star is way too much for her service and the quality of this place. One star is too much. Car wash doesn't always work and they refuse to give a refund to certain customers. Both girls were rude. One actually put the blame on me for the car wash not working properly when others have had the same issue. Jessica went off on another customer saying to him that she didn't need his input and the guy was only trying to smooth out a stressful situation because there were several of us in line to get a refund on the car wash. This place ripped me off for $50. I went in to this station ten days ago to get a gas card. After charging my debit card, the gas card wouldn't program and the attendant gave me a receipt stating refund pending and said my account would be credited back. Yesterday after 9 days I checked my account and I still had not been credited back. So I went back to the gas station with my receipt and a different attendant told me I had to wait 5 days for the refund to occur. I reminded her that it had been 9 days. She then told me I had to contact my bank to show Shell proof that I had not been refunded. WHY should I have to do all the work in contacting my bank to get a document from them to show I had not been reimbursed. I purchase all of my fuel for all of my cars there for many years. Today I filled up one of my cars and purchased a car wash like I always do, I drove into the car wash and the wash malfunctioned and ripped off my drivers side Mirror. I went inside to talk to the attendant and she had me fill out some paperwork then she called the owner. The owner told me that she wouldn't pay for the damage to my car and that I should use my insurance even when their car wash Malfunctioned. I guess they don't care about their long time customers. The customer service at this gas station sucks. The employees are always on there phones. They are rude & unprofessional. I went in to turn in a lottery ticket & won $10. During the whole time I was standing there waiting for my money. The girl that was helping me had no idea what to do. She was asking another working in the back. They didn't know this but I could see her from the reflection on the door in the back. She looked confused & annoyed. They didn't know how to open there register to give me my money but they had no choice cause they already scanned it. So the lady in the back said to me very rudely & mean, "Next time, go to Safeway because we can't open our cash register for these". So I asked, "what do you mean? Why can't I come here to turn in this lottery ticket? That's why you have that machine to scan these things." If I can give this a zero star review I would. I went there Christmas Eve to buy 2 car washes. There was one car in front of me to get a car wash. First of all the person parked crooked in the car wash then once the car wash started instead of staying stationary like you're supposed to follow the car wash machine back-and-forth to follow the water. The car wash security feature kicked on and shut off the machine. The driver then left his car in the car wash and walked into the store. It took a couple minutes and the driver came back to his car and proceeded out the car wash machine. It was my turn to get in the car wash and everything was going fine until I could see the same gentleman right behind me and putting his car wash code again ignoring the sign that says you're supposed to wait for the person in front of you to pull out of the car wash before entering the code. This then cost my car wash to completely stop and didn't finish washing my car. I went inside the store to explain what happened the cashier lady came out so she could see that the car was still dirty. She then told me that my car must've been "really dirty" because she could see parts of the car that were washed and the front section I didn't get to finish was dirty. Does not deserve even a single star. The counter lady was was rude not only to me but also to her own team members. She messed up and did not give me a membership discount even when I had already entered my membership info into the system. When I told her that she had charged me the wrong price... she first argued that she had given me the RIGHT price without even trying to understand the issue. Finally when I convinced her that the price she charged me was wrong, she blamed it on me. She refused to refund me the difference (approx $5)..... and when I asked her name such that I could call in to the Customer support... she refused to tell me her name.
