Didn't have any issues, but also didn't have to see anyone. Really only stopped here because of the upside app deal. Small lot.

I stopped in quickly to use the ATM and was pleasantly surprised. I've gotten gas here a few times…read moresince moving to the area but had never gone inside. Wow. The space is large, bright, clean and really well stocked. I especially appreciated that the ATM is tucked off to the side, which made it feel a bit more private. For a quick stop, it made a great impression. I'll definitely be back.

I stop into this Cumbys frequently. The landscaping and the building is very well maintained. They…read moredid a really great job in the remodel. (I do miss DeAngelo's though.) They have a cute patio area to sit at to that is fairly clean. All the cashiers are really pleasant. They try to do a good job cleaning up the coffee bar area because let's face it the people of the community are slobs. They are always cleaning the floors and food area. When there is a line out the door they do call for backup cashiers to help out trying to get people in and out. Usually in the morning when I do go there, there is usually a gas truck filling the tanks. This blocks off of half of the parking lot. It is always jamming at this location so I do understand that they need to refill but I feel there needs to be a better time for this. Not when people are trying to get their 99 cent coffee and are in a rush to get to work. It sets a tone to their day. They need more parking but with the lot that's not feasible unless they bought the empty gas station next door. You can't beat their 99 cent coffee deal. They have good quick pick me ups for food. The taquito that I had there was probably the most disgusting thing I have ever encountered though. The breakfast sandwiches are made to order if you ask. They have good deals like buy this or that and get a free coffee, etc. and their are about a half dozen free coffee days at Cumbys.

Dang ... I can't believe nobody in this great Yelposphere has reviewed this Cumby's yet! Oooh, I…read morelove to be first .... As Rhode Islanders not living under rocks know by now, Cumberland Farms has been on a construction rampage the last few years, cranking out convenience store equivalents of Walmart Supercenters. Even for a new-generation Cumby's store, this one is super attractive, especially its outdoor patio, under an expansive pergola. But, this store is somewhat crippled by a traffic engineering experiment gone awry - yes, I'm talking about the numerous rotaries ("roundabouts") that have taken over the village of Apponaug. Thank God I had my stepson to guide me as to the best entrance to pull into, so I would be in the best position to leave without being trapped by the rotary right next to this Cumby's. Who knew getting a coffee at Cumby's would involve strategic planning? And, their parking lot is cramped for the size of the store and volume of customers. The inside has some warts too. For instance, the TP dispenser in the men's bathroom threatened to fall off the wall at any minute, and a soap dispenser was out of soap. I saw some large gaps in stock, particularly 20-ounce bottles of soda (does my stepson live here?). But, the highlight of my visit today were the employees. "We at Cumby's take care of our customers!" I overheard an older female employee at the coffee station tell a man getting coffee. Gee, if she patted herself on the back any harder, her shoulder might've become dislocated. Then, the young man who cashed me out looked as nerdy as Pee Wee Herman. When he handed me my change, he put the coins on top of the bills, with the predictable result that the coins slid off the bills, and scattered all over the counter. He apologized profusely, but then admitted that happens to him frequently. I suggested he change his technique to handing customers coins first, then bills. Hah!!

This newly-built Seasons Corner Market is much nicer than the cramped convenience store it…read morereplaced. The canopy and gas pumps are new also, and the parking lot and parking spaces seem better laid out than the old Shell gas station's configuration. Inside, there is a Dunkin' Donuts counter, but no place to sit down to enjoy your coffee or donut, although there is a drive-through. Seasons Corner Markets are the creme de la creme of convenience stores, featuring two bathrooms; a wide array of drinks and snacks; amenities such as a F'real shake machine; neatly organized and well-stocked shelves; and professional, polite employees. Although the store itself is much larger than the old, cramped store it replaced, the aisles between the shelves of merchandise seem a bit narrow. They have a good selection of frozen foods and premium brands of ice cream, but expect to pay full price for those sudden cravings. A 59-oz. bottle of orange juice (the 'new' half-gallon, lol) will set you back about $5 or $6, considerably more than a supermarket special sale price. But, I had a bad OJ craving as I was driving by here Christmas Eve, so I just had to have it. This business is located at the very busy intersection of routes 5 and 113, although there are plenty of curb cuts and traffic lights to make entering and exiting manageable. I'm a big fan of SCM convenience stores, and I would probably rate this one at 4.5 stars, if Yelp allowed half-star increments in individual ratings. I don't think it's quite 5-star worthy because the landscaping is not as fancy as other locations, and there are no tables or counters to sit down inside.
