The sauce "Calabrian Mayo" has a little zip to it and it's actually really good on the Italian. I like the pepperoncini and the sandwich is large. It's like no other Italian sandwich around. I was very pleasantly surprised by the Pasta Patch. I had never been before but I stopped in for a sandwich. Everything was made fresh and I was impressed by the prepared food options. We visited with our RI Food Fights Sandwich coupons and were super impressed! First off, a good sandwich needs to start out with quality bread and Pasta Patch used bread from Buono's Bakery, which is the best around. We ordered an Italiano and a Beef Arosto, which were both so delicious, and were a very good size. The sandwiches were made right in front of us, which was really fun to watch. Pasta Patch seems to be very popular, and there were quite a few people in and out while we were there. This is a take out business and there isn't a seating area inside. They also have homemade pasta, pizzas, and prepared items such as lasagna, chicken dishes, eggplant parm, meatballs, and soups. When I looked at the menu online, I thought the prices were high, but after visiting and seeing the quality of the food, I think the prices are very fair. Went for the homemade pasta which is what they are known for and will be going back for the homemade pasta! PP prepares heat and serve Italian food to go which is perfect for busy days when you don't wanna cook at home! Aside from pasta and variety of meals, they have fresh bread, wine biscuits, variety of soups, variety of sauces, pizzas, and salads. The fresh Pasta was a knockout no doubt! Super fresh and will prob get a sauce to go with it next time! I also got a chicken parm and lemon chicken entree. We got; chicken parm, eggplant lasagna, sausage and peppers, chicken marsala, bread and minestrone soup. Everything was delicious. This place is a tiny Italian shop with homemade Italian dishes to take and go. Got the tomato basil pizza which was simple but very tasty. The pasta lasagne was good but takes an hour to bake in the oven. They have a regular portion size (for 2) and larger ones (for 8-10). Under new management as part of the Martucci Group - this place is still great. In full transparency, the pasta patch was my first job ever back in 1999. I was 14 and a dishwasher there with all "the old ladies" making the traditional take home dishes. Their array of take home food makes you feel like your "nonna" made it. This is the go-to spot in eg for "take and bake". Pick up their pizza and lasagna for your friend who just had a baby or save yourself the trouble of cooking one night this week. Truly the best! Tried 2 sandwiches. Initially I wasn't too keen on paying $18 for a sandwich but thought I would give it a try. My first reaction when I saw the size of the sandwich which was probably over a foot long was ok maybe it is worth it. The disappointment began when I opened it up and saw it was 80% bread. The bread on both sandwiches were stale and inedible. The chicken cutlet breading was soggy and borderline cold. Who doesn't like eating a cold chicken cutlet?? We recently tried the Pasta Patch for the first time. We ordered their Christmas meal package which included soup, entree, three sides, and tirimisu. I also ordered a second entree at an al a carte cost. This meal exceeded my expectations! I ordered the large (meant for 6 people), to feed four adults. We like having some leftovers, so this was the perfect amount! We chose the ham as our entree and it was the perfect combination of sweet and savory. We also ordered the eggplant parmesan and it was delicious! Having a heat and serve meal for the holiday made Christmas much more enjoyable for my family. I was able to truly be present for my toddler's Christmas experience rather than spending the morning in the kitchen cooking. I really hope Pasta Patch continues to offer holiday packages like this, I'll be the first to order for Easter, if they do!! Extremely disappointed with the quality of food under the new ownership. Ordered the lasagna for Christmas Eve and it was nearly inedible. This little shop is tucked next to Chianti's restaurant. They have a fantastic selection of heat and serve entrees, soups and sauces...some in the freezer, some not. You would literally drive right by this teeny house and not even realize the yumminess hidden inside. It's amazing that such a small place produces such big flavors. All their pasta is freshly made inside the kitchen in back. You cannot go wrong with their white sauce dishes...the lasagna Florentine is stuffed with spinach and cheesy white sauce goodness. The kids adore their take and bake pizza...the tomato basil and cheese is simple, but tasty. The pasta and bean soup is also perfectly seasoned and just the right consistency...not too thin, not too thick. Their prices are reasonable and the food is so deliciously homemade tasting that you could totally pass it off as your own for your next dinner party. Not that I would do that. Pasta Patch is one of my favorite spots to visit when I'm back in RI. It's a take and bake (or heat) little spot located behind Chianti's and the Trap restaurants, not too far from the entrance to Goddard Park. They have a menu with a selection of fresh and frozen pasta (regular and white lasagna are my favorites), pizzas, and soups (I'd recommend the chicken noodle and the pasta and bean soups), as well as breads and cookies depending on the day. You let the woman know your order and she grabs it from the kitchen and checks you out. Everything is freshly made in the back and the quality is excellent and consistent. Would most highly recommend for a quick no-sweat dinner or to bring to a friend who is going through a tough time...you won't be disappointed! read more

The linguine was good too. The prepared chicken parm was also a nice added extra. I would suggest if you are ever on your way to or from Godard Park in Warwick / East Greenwich, swing by this place. This is a secret of East Greenwich. Hands down amazing pizza. You pick it out of the freezer and take it home and cook it. Don't be fooled by the freezer bit - grocery store freezer pizza is cardboard - this is happiness. I usually love toppings on my pizza, but here all I want is cheese. It's not greasy, and the sauce and dough are excellent. This is definitely very close to the top of my list of my favorite pizza ever. This place is a little pricey, but the quality of the food is top notch. The menu is very large and there is just about any kind of Italian dish you can imagine. The folks there are very nice and its one of the only places of its kind around. Just one thing to remember.. My brother-in-law just dropped off a cooler of food from the pasta patch. I immediately had to put the chicken parm in the oven. I was waiting to taste tough chewy chicken, instead it was tender and moist. Absolutely delicious! The red sauce was a bit heavy on the garlic but that is just fine with me.
