We visited with our RI Food Fights Sandwich coupons and were super impressed! First off, a good sandwich needs to start out with quality bread and Pasta Patch used bread from Buono's Bakery, which is the best around. We ordered an Italiano and a Beef Arosto, which were both so delicious, and were a very good size. The sandwiches were made right in front of us, which was really fun to watch. Pasta Patch seems to be very popular, and there were quite a few people in and out while we were there. This is a take out business and there isn't a seating area inside. They also have homemade pasta, pizzas, and prepared items such as lasagna, chicken dishes, eggplant parm, meatballs, and soups. When I looked at the menu online, I thought the prices were high, but after visiting and seeing the quality of the food, I think the prices are very fair. We loved our sandwiches and I'd like to go back and try other items as well.

Went for the homemade pasta which is what they are known for and will be going back for the homemade pasta! PP prepares heat and serve Italian food to go which is perfect for busy days when you don't wanna cook at home! Aside from pasta and variety of meals, they have fresh bread, wine biscuits, variety of soups, variety of sauces, pizzas, and salads. The fresh Pasta was a knockout no doubt! Super fresh and will prob get a sauce to go with it next time! I also got a chicken parm and lemon chicken entree. The chicken parm was pretty good, nothing to go running back for as well as the lemon chicken. Would prob give some of their entree selections a try though!

Excellent food, large serving sizes at a reasonable price. My only complaint is that they run out of some items quickly.

Food is good but much more expensive than it was in the past. It used to be my go to in a pinch or for a party.

We chose this place for lunch on our way back to Connecticut after visiting the Providence Zoo…read more Unfortunately, it's not somewhere we'll likely stop again. Before going, I noticed several reviews mentioning that the food lacked flavor. After eating here, I'd have to agree. We started with the Strawberry Burrata appetizer. The burrata itself was good, but the strawberries tasted like they came from a can or pie filling instead of being fresh. It's the middle of summer, so that was disappointing. The focaccia served with it was fresh, but completely unseasoned and bland. A little olive oil, herbs, or flaky salt would have made a huge difference. For our entrees, we ordered the pasta special with chicken, peppers, and "broccolini" in a garlic sauce, along with the short rib grilled cheese and garlic Parmesan chips. First, the dish didn't contain broccolini--it was regular broccoli. That's not a huge deal, but the menu should be accurate. The penne was undercooked, the red peppers tasted like they came from a can, and the broccoli seemed straight from a frozen bag. The entire dish arrived tasting like it had been reheated in a microwave rather than cooked to order. There were only a couple of other tables in the restaurant, and they had only been open for about an hour, so that was surprising. On top of that, the dish was very bland. The short rib grilled cheese was actually the highlight of the meal. The short rib was tender and flavorful, and the sandwich had a lot of potential. However, the plain focaccia made it a little dry, and it really could have used some type of sauce or spread to bring everything together. The garlic Parmesan chips were stale, bland, and also seemed pre-made. To top it off, the menu clearly advertises that kids eat free all day on Mondays, yet we were charged $8 each for our kids' penne with red sauce. This restaurant has the potential to be really good. The ingredients and menu ideas are there, but the execution falls short. Fresher ingredients, cooking food to order, more seasoning, and a little more creativity would make a world of difference.

Caesar salad was nice and light. Lobster mac and cheese was delicious. We ordered bucatini and frutti de mare for our entree. Bucatini was tasty and thick pasta was interesting. Frutti de mare was flavorful. Lots of seafood and great flavor coming from it. Service was excellent and servers were very attentive. Overall the place was good. For the most part, I loved everything! The staff was really nice, the food came quickly, and the drinks were good. The scallop entrée with risotto was really good. I do wish there were more vegetables than carrots and peas, but not a huge deal. The Arancini was really good, but it needed more sauce. There was a little green sauce at the bottom of the plate, but I wish there was more . Unfortunately, I did not love the calamari. It felt over fried and was quite crunchy so I would not order that again. However, I would definitely go back and I would try a ton of new items.

We already know the sandwiches are fantastic, made on Buono's bread, but the dinners, oh my! Tonight I had shrimp with peppers fra diavalo. My husband had chicken Marsala, which comes with two sides. He chose green beans and carrots mixed, and mashed potatoes. He ate all of it except one cutlet, which he brought home. The rabe was not too bitter and the chicken was cooked all the way through, but slightly on the dry side. The Italian was not the best I've had. The hard roll was on the softer side. I would recommend that you get it hot if you like a crispy outer crust. The grinder was more bread heavy on the meat to bread ratio. Toppings were onion, banana peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, oil and vinegar.

The paper napkins were of the same quality you'd find at the Dollar Store. We couldn't believe it. The calamari was over done and quite rubbery (my first napkin turned to shreds after I ate some of the calamari with my fingers). The filet mignon, however, was incredible and cooked perfectly. The lunch-sized portion of chicken parmesan was very generous. In fact, it was just about the same size as my dinner-sized veal parmesan, which was surprising. It was tender, not too heavily breaded, and the accompanying marinara was delicious. The veal, as you can see, was a little on the small side and was not nearly as tender (more than likely wasn't pounded). There were also only 3 or 4 ravioli accompanying it. The dessert, Tiramisu, looked nothing like the picture, and had chocolate drizzled all over it for some reason. When the bill arrived, there was an upcharge for the ravioli (which we were never informed of). We would like to give this place another chance, and I believe we will come back to try their pizza and other entrees.
