I did not know that they closed at 4pm today... I go in and the worker rolls her eyes and gives me the dirtiest look we are closed. At least be nice lady.... I will never step foot in for lack of customer service... if ur close than close ur doors and don't be wide open......
Fantastic experience. They were so helpful in choosing a design for my parents 50th wedding cake. Not only was it beautiful but guests were raving about the icing. I was given clear instructions upon picking the cake up on when to leave it out to defrost before serving guests. Highly recommend this bakery for their professionalism and delicious cakes.
Excellent excellent cupcakes wow. Tried the silver dollar, triple chocolate and lemon. All very moist and flavorful. Will definitely be back!
Our wedding had perfect dessert because of Silver Spoon! Beautiful and the best cupcakes we've had. We had a ceremonial wedding cake and additional cupcakes and cookies for guests. Right from the start, Lynne and her team were incredible to work with- we filled out details and provided examples of what we were looking for as inspiration, and everything turned out perfectly. They dropped everything off and set up our dessert table and decorations, and were flexible for returning cake stands and plates. Best of all, so many guests shared the cupcakes were the best they'd ever had!!
What a gem!! My husband ordered my birthday cake from here (chocolate/hazelnut) and we all really enjoyed it. They used swiss buttercream on the cake which I love compared to American buttercream. I also recently went in to pick up some cupcakes. I felt like the price was very reasonable and they had a great selection. My favorite of the ones I tried was their chocolate peanut butter, the cake was moist and the frosting was super sweet but also very peanut buttery. I also learned that they do wine and cocktails. Including espresso martinis! A great place to grab a nightcap if you don't want to deal with crazy crowds. The interior is very cozy and perfect for a Fall/Winter evening. I loved their tea room! I look forward to visiting again soon!
This adorable bakery prides themselves on including homemade gluten free sweet treats. My husband had a few of the cupcakes this past weekend and said they were flavorful and moist. He also enjoyed their iced coffee. Although this bakery sits on Main Street, I have walked by it hundreds of times not realizing there was a business inside. I thought it was a house with apartments. Upon entering, I was greeted immediately by the sweet smell of baked goods. The bakery is located in the back right side of the building. There is a beautiful mural painted on the wall which points you in the right direction. If you haven't been yet, check it out!
Every time! I cannot say enough about the Silver Spoon. My husband is lactose intolerant and it is really difficult to find a cake that won't leave him in a bad way or is just plain dry and flavorless. I am never disappointed with this bakery. They have made another beautiful, moist, flavorful, coconut cake. I really find it so hard to believe there is no dairy in this cake with a frosting that is so soft and decadently rich. But seeing as my husband isn't on the floor in pain and I have survived the night without a gas mask, I feel that no lies were told . I would recommend this bakery a hundred times over.

Such a great place. As soon as you walk in, the sweet smell of cupcakes baking greets you. The lattes are amazing, great foam on top! And they have many cupcakes that are decorated beautifully, along with some French macarons and a couple of other baked goods. They have a cute sitting room, as well. All the workers were so polite and even brought our drinks out to us to our table. Definitely recommend! Great little spot to come to, will definitely be back.
One of my fave stops on a Downtown East Greenwich adventure! Silver Spoon is the cutest lil' bakery, coffeeshop, and yes.. cocktail bar! What could be better than kicking back in a cozy chair while Edith Piaf plays on the speakers and enjoying a perfectly frosted buttercream cupcake paired with a glass of champagne? Literally nothing. That is what. In addition to the fab selection of cupcakes (I love the Strawberry Champagne flavor for days when I'm feeling #fancy, and the Cookie Dough for days when you just need something indulgent), they also have French-style macarons in a variety of traditional and creative flavors. Try the Fruity Pebbles or Honey Lavender varieties if you really want something special. Add a cup of hot raspberry tea, and it's the best way to spend a rainy afternoon. Silver Spoon also has gluten free and vegan dessert options, including iterations of the cupcake and cookie offerings, so everyone can find something to enjoy. Next time you're in Downtown East Greenwich, stop into the antique yellow house with the blue flag - you'll be glad you did!

This is a most ugly cake I ever had. Even my 5year old kid can decorate it better. If their taste has no problem, then they must be racist. They think Asian must think this is a pretty cake. Come on..
This spot is downstairs from my nail salon and the delicious smells are hypnotizing. Finally grabbed myself a cupcake from here and it was delicious! Perfectly done from start to finish. They also serve cocktails and coffee (my fave) so I'll be trying those in the future as well. What a cute space! I'm sorry I didn't check it out sooner! read more
I celebrated a promotion with a friend and chose Silver Spoon Bakery to make the cake! The cake was absolutely delicious. It was made out of a buttercream frosting and funfetti cake - a perfect mix. It was a small cake but thick and tall. Cost about $80. They didn't have black ribbon so I added ribbon afterwards myself - fun tip. I wish the heart shape of the cake was more pronounced. The shape looked very circular and the frosting was off white, more light yellow looking (hard to tell in the pic cause I edited the color of the picture) the cake was delicious though so made up for this. The bakery is in a busy area of East Greenwich on Main Street. You can find street parking but be sure to go early if picking up during prime time. read more
Silver spoon offers a great selection of cupcakes and treats. They do a phenomenal job with gluten free options too. I really like their cupcakes and macarons. Every time! I cannot say enough about the Silver Spoon. Fantastic cupcakes and macarons. Literally what else do you want from a bakery? Definitely one of the best bakeries in the area. It's inside an old house that is home to several businesses & is kind of tucked in a back room, which can be a little confusing at first. The first rooms inside the building are seating so you can stay and enjoy a drink and a treat. It's actually really cozy and would be a great date night. The bakery counter itself is in the back right corner of the building. Upstairs is for different businesses. Street parking only. read more

I have been coming here since it opened and love it. Small hidden gem Right on Main Street in East Greenwich Rhode Island with shabby chic decore that leads you to Paris, France When you walk in all you can smell is fresh baked deliciousness of cupcakes, cake pops and macaroons. They offer locally crafted sodas, beer, wine, champagne and fun cocktails. In addition to delish favorites and seasonal delights -- They do have a selection of gluten free and vegan cupcakes- and have more to offer if you call in advance. There is an area for private events with advanced notice/booking that is reasonably priced. Custom cakes that are sure to WOW with a few days notice....highly suggest giving them a try read more

I'm a little torn on how to review my experience at Silver Spoon Bakery. First of all, the decor is absolutely charming! I love the Tiffany blue highlights and all the Parisian accents throughout the space. I could see myself hanging out here and never tiring. I actually tried several cupcakes on a recent visit. I must say, they are all expertly decorated and delicious. The frosting is not too sweet, just the way I like it. If the cupcakes were simply called vanilla or chocolate I'd say these are some of the best I've had. However, none of the cupcakes actually taste like the flavor they are supposed to be. I tried the S'mores cupcake which is chocolate cupcake filled with whipped marshmallow and topped with marshmallow frosting. There was no filling, and the frosting tasted like regular buttercream. Absolutely nothing tasted like marshmallow. So to me it was a chocolate cupcake with basic buttercream. The Strawberry Champagne cupcake is a champagne cupcake with strawberry champagne frosting. It tasted nothing like strawberries. It was delicious, but simply tasted like a plain cupcake with plain (albeit fluffy and tasty) buttercream. The Lemon Blueberry did contain blueberries, but essentially lacked any discernible lemon flavor. I'm sure there was some in there, but not enough tartness at all to call it lemon. The Cookie Dough cupcake is a bestseller. I found it to be a unique idea, and a bit sweeter than the others. It probably sold it's "flavor" much better considering it's actually filled with a chunk of cookie dough and has a cookie on top. It didn't really blow me away though. With that said, I do think the cupcakes here are good, but just not really flavored as advertised. I have a good palate (I went to culinary school and write a food blog) so I know that I can pick up flavors where other people cannot. If I was blindfolded and ate these cupcakes, I wouldn't be able to tell you what flavors they are supposed to be. That's really my concern here. They cupcakes are BEAUTIFUL and very tasty, but don't expect to be blown away by how "flavorful" they are in their creative and unique flavor profiles. They just need more actual flavor. 3 1/2 stars. read more
I have so much love for Silver Spoon. It's one of my top three bakeries. I love the decor, very Victorian and upscale but with a friendliness and comfort level a lot of places can't achieve. Staff is always friendly. The cupcakes are to die for. My favorite is the watermelon cupcake that I hope they continue to make. The flavor is unreal. Cupcakes are always moist with the perfect amount of frosting. I like that you can get coffee and cocktails as well: Thursday night is ladies night which includes a bottle of champagne and two cupcakes for a fee. Really great place to stop into after a meal on Main St. Awesome date spot as well. read more

Silver spoon bakery is one of the most lovely bakery places I've ever been to. Pros: _beautiful, vintage style and decoration _nice place to take your date to for dessert or chill out with your bestie _location right downtown of east Greenwich _cupcakes with delightful taste: the cream has very pleasant texture Cons: _the texture of macarons is nice but the taste could be less sweet (it's just our opinion. You might like your macarons super sweet) _we wish there were more flavors for macarons Overall, we visited this place for macarons but we were surprised by their high quality cupcake. They also have gluten free options :) good first date spot And or place to relax- I'd describe it as a cafe in Paris with out actually having to fly out to France. I first visited Silver Spoon Bakery at the recommendation of my sister while I was searching for a wedding cake vendor. We scheduled a tasting, and we sampled three cupcakes in our chosen flavor combinations while also enjoying a glass of wine. The cupcakes were so fantastic I booked Silver Spoon on the spot without ever visiting another bakery. The cake they created for my wedding was absolutely delicious. It was fresh and flavorful and looked exactly as I hoped. I was also able to rent a beautiful cake stand from their selection, and the bakery worked with my florist to have fresh flowers added to the frosting. Yesterday, I stopped in for the first time since my wedding. I was looking for a gift for a gluten-free friend, and I was thrilled they had 3 GF cupcake options in fall flavors. I bought one of each for my friend, and I bought an assortment of 4 regular cupcakes in different flavors for my husband and me. The cupcakes are out of this world delicious. Highlights of the Silver Spoon location include the ability to have a glass of wine or a drink in the bakery/cafe, and their location in a historic house in East Greenwich. I'm an architectural historian, so they get extra points from me for being great stewards of a historic building and creating such a cozy space. All in all, I can't recommend Silver Spoon Bakery enough! read more

With the influx of cupcake bakeries that seem to have popped up everywhere overnight, it's easy for them to all seem the same, however Silver Spoon Bakery has managed to carve out a place for itself, winning numerous awards for the best cupcakes in the state. They have a rotating menu of cupcake flavors, with some standard flavors (i.e., Cookie Dough, Silver Dollar-vanilla, Red Velvet) mixed in with some new exciting flavors (i.e., Champagne, Marble Nutella, Blueberry Lemonade). I've tried over a dozen and each one has been as fresh and delicious as the last! They also have cake pops of various flavors which are some of the best I've tasted. Cupcakes and cake pops aside, they have macaroons and beers/wines/champagne available for purchase to enjoy in their cute little French cafe. They also have incredible cakes and cupcake displays for weddings/bridal showers! Tips: -Silver Spoon has a little known "Cupcake of the Month" club that is a fantastic gift for any cupcake lovers in your life. You can choose the number of months and number of cupcakes per month and give a little punch card to your chosen friend to redeem each month! -Many nights they have specials that allow you to combine drinking and cupcakes (what's not to love about that?)...for example, a free cupcake with a drink purchase. -You can rent out one of their cute and wonderfully decorate rooms for a small birthday party or bridal shower and guests can decorate cupcakes or enjoy a meal prepped by the Silver Spoon chef. -Located on Main Street in East Greenwich, it's a perfect place to stop after a meal at one of the many restaurants nearby. In terms of parking, street parking is available and there is a free parking lot on Main Street just next door to the shop. read more

Best Ever!! To start off I've tried plenty of cupcakes around the East Coast And I have yet to find one that beats Silverspoon! It's cute. Small. Somewhat secluded. The frosting is to die for. The cake I haven't had the pleasure of trying but I'm sure it's amazing as always. They have a wide variety and their prices are bearable. OH and they have great Coffee. This place has it all. God Bless this place. I've taken so many of my friends here. If you ever just have a craving, in the area, or have a serious case of the munchies, Silverspoon is the place to go! read more
