Employee was helpful. Manager Dave & Loop car wash was not at all. Very unprofessional with no customer service.

Occasionally I stop at Shell for gas or a soda. Employees are friendly, helpful. Sometimes the pumps have issues where they won't accept your credit card so I have to go inside to pay. That's inconvenient. I dislike the styrofoam cups Shell uses for its fountain drinks. They are easily punctured, leaking soda into the cup holder. Shell uses the styrofoam cups at all locations; please get rid of styrofoam. read more

Watch out for this particular gas station. My credit card (Amex) was charged a different amount from what I spent. I'm not sure if it's the employees or someone hacking Apple Pay. I tried calling the gas station but they're not accepting callers. I will go there personally and talk to the owners and managers. Thankfully Amex already declined the transaction because the merchant is stated as "shell" and not shell oil which is the correct transaction name. Again, beware. read more

This gas station SUCKS!!! There is ALWAYS a huge line and the works move as if nobody is trying to go anywhere. Its especially terrible in the mornings! Avoid this business if u care about your time! An item would not scan from barcode one morning at 715am with huge line & i had to ask the attendant if he could simply manually enter the total because all he could logically think to do was scan!?!? Many customers were pissed! Why am i instructing you on how to do your job when u see a huge line of people in a rush trying to get to where they have to be! Pathetic, to say the least! I am a loyal shell customer so when I saw this right next to my house, I was quite happy. That began to fade pretty quickly though.. It was convenient location wise, but the price did not compete well with other shell locations that I frequently drive pass. The good thing about this location is that there is rarely any line at all. I was told recently that there's even a Mexican restaurant nested inside! I have not tried it yet but I will do so soon. It is just one of those things that makes me curious of how the quality is when it's nested in a gas station.. I love how this location do offer cheaper gas upon purchasing a car wash, but due to the price of the car wash, it still isn't a deal for me!! I rather hand wash my baby anyways, more efficient and also I get paranoid over machine rubbing against my car. read more

This location needs to do a better job at maintaining their credit card readers. The reader would not swipe and my shell card got declined even after the clerk attempted to enter my account number. The clerk would not attempt the card on another register. I called shell and I had more than enough credit to cover my small in store purchase. I was pissed! You would think any viable business would make sure daily the cash registers and credit card readers were working correctly! read more

Usually I wouldn't write a review for a gas station but this one is like the only gas station located kind of more into the middle of elk grove. Which is nice because all other gas stations are usually near the freeway. It also has a Mexican food place joint together with it. The air and water outside has a code combination so you don't have to keep going back inside to tell them to turn it back on the air. Just gotta get the combination first. The parking lot and direction of enter and entrance is kind of weird, it makes you drive around for awhile first. read more

This location is convenient for me on days when I take my kids to My Gym Children's Fitness Center, because it's located right across the street. This gas station is really clean, the prices are average for the area, and there's never a line. There are small TV screens to watch to make the time of pumping gas go by. There is mexican restaurant located inside called Rafa's, which has a drive thru as well. Overall a nice, clean place to get some gas, and maybe a bite to eat too. read more

Worst gas station ever. They are dishonest. I paid cash, but at the pump, they charged me credit card prices. They don't have receipts at the pump so I had no proof. They just denied it and said I got it wrong. $20 divided by 7.25 gallons is 2.75 a gallon. The credit card price. Stop buying gas here. Dishonest businesses should not prosper. Boycott!!!! read more

A Shell is a Shell is a Shell. I used to really love this place last year because they gave you a discount if you used cash or your debit card. However they have since changed it and now you can only receive the discount by purchasing a car wash. The inside of the store is always clean, and the bathrooms decent. The entrances in and out are fairly simple, and you have multiple options as to what street you would like to exit on. Not a shabby place. read more

Please be aware that this gas station gives out counterfeit money. I went in with a $100 bill got $20 gas and the cashier gave me a counterfeit $20 bill back. The cashier is name Eddie and the manager name Jas tried to cover it up. I made a complaint at the BBB, and turned the $20 over the US Department of Treasury. Check your cash back. read more

I bought a cheap pair of earbuds there. They gave out within 5 minutes- crackling, static, one side not working at all. The attendant bit my head off as soon as I said return. He demanded a receipt, which was right in front of me. He said I wasn't allowed to return them because I didn't open the box right so there was a tear. I explained that was an unacceptable reason to deny a return and that they should not resell them anyway because they're defective. Then he logistically couldn't figure out how to do it so he accused me of having the wrong card,, which was untrue.. he callled and yelled at his manager then told me to come back at 5 pm. I said no, it's Christmas eve and I have plans, I can't come back for a third time. He said wait 10 minutes and the manager would come in. 35 minutes later the manager arrived and did my return in about 60 seconds. I was blown away how disrespectful he was right off the bat, especially since it was so straight forward and I had every single thing I needed. It was awful from start to finish. read more
