Received a Shell gift card from a client for Christmas. Stopped in to use it today. East access in and out if service station. Convenience store on site, did not go into. Drive through semi self serve Carwash on site, didn't use. There's a cool dog wash unit behind the station, didn't use but will try out in future. Lots of room around gas pumps, ample room no matter which pump you use and direction you are pulling in and out of pumps area. Gas pumps easy to use. Gas prices significantly higher than some other local stations. East to operate pumps. Clean. read more

Stopped for a Yerba they have a sign next to the product stating 2/5.50$ but if you look at the fine print u must be a loyalty member . When she rang up both 16oz cans the total was 7.98 I asked about the sign she asked does it say loyalty !?! Well shit it does but super small in comparison to the 2/5.50 let me get just the one which was 3.96 .. why wasn't I offered a chance to sign up for the "loyalty" program ? No instructions just a blank stare after asking for $4 for a beverage that everywhere else is 3-3.25 .... I used this gas station last night and by the next morning had multiple fraudulent charges on my card for a fast cash company in another state. The machines would not accept my card when I tried to use the tap method, so I had to insert it. Should have looked more carefully for a skimmer. Beware! read more

I was just at this station roughly an hour ago and was unable to pump gas using my Shell gas card. When I went inside to ask the attendant about the pump I was told that they were "out of gas." When I asked her how to reset the pump because I had entered my card number, I was told that the "card was not charged, because the station was out of gas." I took my business elsewhere - once I returned home, approximately 30 minutes later, I received a notice from my Shell gas card that a purchase in amount of $100 had been posted to my account from this very station. There is no answer when I tried to call and speak to a manager. The woman that I encountered behind the desk was a average sized white woman in her mid to late 20's blond hair and glasses. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND using this station again. The staff is untrustworthy. I have contacted the credit card company to file a complaint for fraudulent use of my credit card and will be contacting the police. read more

I can not believe what the car wash did to my car. it left scratches on my front windshield! and on my trunk! and the five minutes of vacuum is ridiculous the facts that I bought the upgrade one. what five minutes gonna do? I felt rushed and couldn't even finish vacuuming my car. read more

What can I say, this gas station has ample space between each pump. The window cleaner sponges had actual soap in them. The gas pumps worked when you set the automatic pumper. Entering your information when paying with a debit card is fast and easy. The car wash works and provides good, heavy duty soap. More importantly the dryer of the car wash, actually dries your car. Remodeled with Loop car wash. This review is for the car wash. Pass on the car wash. They have a status light like most gas station car washes(go, stop, backup) the tech who maintains this car wash need to re program the status sequence. My car was left wet because the status lights didn't direct me when to stop or go when it was in the rinse and dry cycle. After the scrubbing, which is not bad, the green light illuminated telling me to pull forward into the rinse, then it shut off, it proceeded to rinse while I was in park, then stopped, at the same time I heard the dryer powering down while the car wash status lights still off. Turns out the car wash was complete, so my rear half of the car did not get rinsed and the whole car did not get dried. Quick quack is across the street, go there. Out of a lot of the quick quacks, that one(near Dutch bros) is the best one (I've been to several). read more

I love going to this Shell. It's close to home and right by the freeway. I wasn't planning on writing a review, but I felt like I needed to because the worker today was so nice. I enjoy coming in here because the workers are always nice. No matter who it is, they are always greeting you with a hi and they ask me how my day is going. read more

I'm giving a solid 4 stars solely based on convenience. I am always able to drive in, find a pump, and easily exit back onto Elk Grove Blvd. Depending on the day, the pricing is a little on the higher side, but I often choose Shell over the neighboring AM/PM station simply because of convenience. Well worth a stop in. read more

This gas station is sneaky and we learned the lesson that we can't assume all gas stations are the same. Their sign is like all the others- two prices posted with one being higher than the other, usually for a cash and a credit price. We noticed their lower price was lower than the 76 just over the freeway so we stopped at Shell to pump. Turns out their lower price is only valid if you buy a car wash. What a scam! As we left this place, never to return again, we looked closely at the sign and there it was: hand-written signs to say "With Wash" and "With Credit." They got us once but they sure as hell won't get us again. Always go to the 76 at 99 and Elk Grove Blvd. Always! read more

Ok for fuel, but disappointed by the car wash. It's an old school spinning brush, but they've turned down the water so much and backed off the cleaning schedule it doesn't work well. The soap is sparse, and with so little water, the dirty brushes hit an almost dry car and wind up making things worse if you're lucky, or scratching your car if you're not. read more

It seems that Shell is always right next to a Chevron; what makes me choose one from the other is their pricing on gas. I always find Shell to be cheaper than Chevron, and they don't charge $0.45 for using a credit card. This location is right next to the freeway (99). If i stop by, it's usually right after the gym which is around 10:00 in the morning or 7:00 in the evening and it's never busy; there's always a pump available. read more
