Mandatory stop on every opportunity. Learned from my previous visit that arriving later is better…read morethan early. More selections as far as BBQ sandwiches! Finally tried the Three Meat and Carolina Pulled Pork sandwiches. So good! Loaded up with gifts like jerky, beaver nuggets, coffee, and shirts. Problem is figuring how to pack it all into a luggage. Wish there were dining tables available but understand the possible reasons behind it. On the plus side, appreciate the workers being proactive on helping me find a few things. Heavily busy but it's difficult to stay clear from.

Review #1,070 Posted on 6.10.26…read more We came to Buc-ee's on Tuesday the 9th when in town in nearby Austin for my buddies 50th birthday. At some point with family, friends, colleagues most people have probably heard of this place when Texas is part of the conversation. Essentially it's a gas station with a huge store inside. Now I have to hand it to these guys, as the inside is essentially hot food, soda fountains, sweets, you name it for quick bites, that makes up about 30% of the store. Then you've got just insane amounts of Buc-ee's tourist itemsz. Pretty much almost anything you can think of they've got. We picked up a stuffed animal for my kid, some snacks, & some hot food that wasn't half bad. Pulled pork sandwich was pretty good as was the Mac n cheese. I definitely think people visiting Texas should stop into one of these while in town, lots to look through.

I get severe anxiety in big, crowded places. And that's what this was. It was big, crowded, and…read morefull of tchotchkes I didn't want, need or love. I bought a sandwich and some water and got out of there. I will never return. In fairness to them, the place was surprisingly clean, well organized, seemed well managed. The staff seemed nice enough - just working hard to ring up all the people buying their tchotchkes.

I walked in planning to spend maybe 20 minutes max just to buy a few souvenirs, snacks, and a few things to take home to my kids and family. Shortly after I walked in, I was approached and told I wasn't allowed to be there because I came in a semi truck. I explained that I was only going to be inside for a few minutes to buy a few items, but I was told they would not allow me to purchase anything. I was also told, "Unfortunately truckers are not welcome." Those were his exact words. That was extremely disappointing to hear. Truck drivers are a huge part of what keeps this country moving. We deliver the products businesses sell every single day, including the products sitting on Buc-ee's shelves. To be told we're not welcome and not even allowed to make a purchase is sad and frustrating. Because of this experience, I will never return to Buc-ee's again, not even in my personal vehicle. I'd much rather spend my money at a truck stop or any business that welcomes everyone and appreciates the people who help keep America moving.
