I waited over 30 minutes tonight for the cashier to get off his break. He had a sign that said he was on his 15 min break but it had to have been his lunch break because it was well over 30 minutes. I've been here since 10:45 -10:50 it is now 11:25 . If I was able to go elsewhere I would but I need a specific wrap they sell here, worst thing is I'm a DAILY CUSTOMER who comes here everyday and yet the cashier chooses to ignore me knowing dam well I'm sitting infront of the store waiting .. what type of customer service is this? It's no wonder they've got 1 star . Even saw a guy ask how long before he could get gas and the cashier got frustrated pulled the sign off the window and kept pointing at it not answering when he'd be off break , that guy also waited 15 min and ended up leaving. Finally I called the dam place to ask wtf and the cashier answers and says that sign is there for "the next guy and I could go get my wraps" I said ok then why didn't you say something then I've been out here dam near 40 freaking minutes!!!! I pumped $116 worth of gas on my work vehicle, I walked inside the station to ask the rep if he could turn on the compressor. He refuses and states it cost a dollar. I tell him I just spent $116 on gas and says that was purchased an hour ago, I ask for a receipt, he ask to see the card I used which is a fleet/element card and I don't know which bank they use. He tells me he can't give me the receipt because I did not buy gas. Air and water compressor are required by law and should be available at no cost. I come here at least twice a month and so do some of our other fleet vehicles. Last time our vehicles will be seen us here and all for $1 read more

After paying for gas the attendant would not allow me to use the restroom and was rude. It has an out of order sign that is always posted. I went back in again and told him I have a medical condition I need to use the restroom. He said OK but the sink doesn't work and he showed me how the handle goes from side to side and does not turn the water on. After using the toilet, I turned the water on by simply lifting up the handle and it worked just perfect with no issue I Then showed the attendant that it works and he said oh the hot water doesn't work and then continue to tell me that the restroom is for paying customers only. I explained to him that I just got done pumping gas and he said well it's because we have homeless that comes in And I told him that I'm not homeless and he said well it's for paying customers and I continue to tell him that I just pump gas as my car sits parked at the pump with a receipt. I told him that I felt discriminated against because I am not homeless. I would never go to the station again, and I'm going to file a former complaint. read more

Went in to the grocery shop with my kids to get an ice cream, price said $1.50 each. At the register is $8 for 2 I ask why it's state $1.50 each and you tell me $4 each. He came to the refrigerator to take a look , saw it in his eyes and still said in a rood way this is the cost. With 2 kids that's really want the ice cream they have chosen I couldn't leave unless I bought it for them. It's not about the money it's much more about the service and experience. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a gas station. After a long days work in ventura I stopped here to get a snack and fill up. I wanted to use the restroom first. The guy on this day 6/9/2021 5:15 pm was so rude and nasty told me restroom was for customer only. Never did I think that I'd write a review about a gas station, however this particular gas station crossed my threshold. This gas station is on the same side of my building, therefore it's our go to place for snacks and gas, but not any more that's without a doubt! I've truthfully never encountered worse customer service in my life, it's as if the people who own it / work there, hate their customers. Time after time I've left here with a bad experience. - a month ago my tire was flat, so I went inside to ask them to turn the air on, and the man said I needed to pay one dollar which shocked me because no other station has ever charged for air. I had to fill the air though and said okay then I'll pay with my card since I don't have cash on me. He said I can't pay with card for only 1 dollar. He literally didn't help me out at all, what has humanity come to? I would've just turned it on if I were in his position but he didn't. Thankfully a kind gentleman and his wife heard the conversation & paid for me. Then the very next day another woman in front me asked for the air to be turned on & he did not charge her at all & turned it on for free. When my fiancé asked him why he didn't turn the air on for me the day before, he said the lady goes there all the time so he didn't charge. Well guess what we are also there all the time, and that was clear DISCRIMINATION! The experience I had today made me know for sure that from now on I'll NEVER go to this place again. Unfortunately I don't have water at home & rely on bottled water for drinking. This morning I realized I was all out, so I took my dog out for a walk and decided to quickly stop inside and purchase a bottle. My dog is actually a certified service dog, I carry his identification card in my wallet at all times incase of issues. As soon as I stepped in I quickly grabbed a bottle of water and took my money out to pay, and instantly the worker shouted at me saying "NO DOGS ALLOWED IN HERE I WILL CALL THE POLICE AND YOU WILL PAY 300 DOLLARS!" I have never been so humiliated, who does this guy think he is shouting at me like that? It is completely unacceptable and disrespectful. He could have informed me politely by saying in a calm tone that they don't allow animals inside, then I would've showed my dogs I.d. Card. I don't know where to begin one of the workers of this place is a very grumpy and disrespectful individual. I am middle Eastern and in our Culture we learned to respect everyone witch obviously he has never learned. Every single time we go there we come out angry and frustrated. The only reason we go there it's because it's conveniently located near our apartment. My fiancé also has been fed up with their services and she has not gone there in over a month, ever since they refused air for her tires even though she fills up her car at their location once a week. I stopped at this 76 today 3/11/2019 for lunch I purchased a hot pocket heated it in there microwave drive maybe two blocks away to eat my lunch in my work van. While talking in the phone eating the hot pocket I noticed the hot pocket tasted real funny sour like I thought maybe the pepperoni but before I took another bite and inspecting the hot pocket closely I seen what appears to be mold. Don't know if it's a moldy piece of meat or just mold growth. Please see picture. Checked the packaging which has NO dates what so ever took it back to 76 talked to the clerk we checked other hot pocket packaging which also have no dates all he did was offer my $2.50 back. So far 3 hours later I'm not feeling sick. I'm making a complaint to corporate about this. We'll see what happens. read more

There I was, on the corner of Coldwater Canyon and Riverside Blvd in Sherman Oaks, CA at about 4:15 PM. I had just bought a few things at WHole Foods an come out to find my bike tire flat. My pump was at home, dang it. At least the tire slime sealed the hole, but I needed air to bike the four miles home! Whew, look, a Shell station across the street! Feeling lucky because Shell claims on their website to be committed to "Giving back to the community", I wheeled my bike across Coldwater and went into the "Circle K". The guy behind the counter looked up at me. I smiled, knowing that Shell would be there for me, "Hey, I'm sorry, I've got a flat and only plastic, can you turn on the air for me, please?" He didn't smile back, "For seventy five cents I can." I was taken aback, " wait, you'll charge a woman stranded seventy five cents for air?" "yes, it costs seventy five cents." "You're SERIOUS?" This was unexpected. "I have no change. Could you please just turn it on." "I cannot, I can't turn it on from in here. It is an outside company." "What do you do for customers who buy gas? They don't get free gas and air, and you don't turn it on for them?" (from the California Dept of Food & Agriculture"Gas stations are required to provide air and water free to customers who buy gasoline or diesel.") "I cannot turn it on from in here. They also must pay seventy five cents. You need to pay me seventy five cents." "You don't give your gas customers air for free" He shook his head, "No." I begrudgingly had to wheel my bike loaded with Whole Food items into the Circle K, get a $20 from the ATM, as he wouldn't let me use my debit to pay such a small amount. A man behind me was agahast. "You had to get twenty from the ATM to pay this guy seventy five cents for air for a flat BIKE TIRE?" "Yes, yes I did." "Ain't that something!" A third guy got in line behind us. I gave the attendant my twenty, and he gave me change, including 4 quarters. I wheeled my bike out to the air and water station , which had a sedan parked in front of it, only to hear it come on automatically, and the man who had been third in line rushed out. "Sorry, lady, I have to fill this." he started to fill his tire. "Wait, the guy inside turned it on for you?" "Yeah, I bought some fix a flat from him, and he charged me seventy five cents for the air. You'd think after buying the fixy stuff he would just turn it on." "But he turned it on from inside?" "Yep!" "He told me that was impossible for him." "Oh well!" He filled his tire and handed me the hose. Beware of this gas station. Many times I have gone and only been given the option to purchase the highest priced gas. I made the mistake of returning because I had a fuel rewards incentive of 28 cents off per gallon. Well, it happened again, but today I went in to ask the attendant. He came out to the pump and had me go through the motions. As I told him what the screen was saying, he ignored me and just kept repeating insert your card. Don't take it out. I told him it said take out card. Thank you for coming. He ignored what I kept saying. Also, He didn't wear a face mask and reached across my body to grab the nozzle. Needless to say, it ended with me saying I would not be returning and him saying good. After leaving, I realized I had used fuel rewards, so that could be the issue here. Regardless, I would have appreciated some time and understanding. I also would have appreciated a refund as I ended up being charged for the higher grade of gasoline. I haven't had any issues with this station. I pull in, pump my gas, pay and go. I do go inside for the occasional beverage and candy bar. The cashiers are always nice and friendly. No shady characters about or anything. It is right on the corner at Coldwater Canyon so super convenient location. I am usually stopping here when I pick up food at Hugo's. The pumps are rigged to charge you five cents before you even start pumping, and what's (almost) worse, if you're the one out of a million people who are cheap enough to actually confront them about it (like me), they'll accuse you of trying to steal from them. Yes they are within their legal right to charge for air if you don't buy gas there, however more and more gas stations are doing away with this practice. This morning this Shell station decided to pull a publicity stunt and gave away free gasoline. In the middle of morning rush hour, traffic was disrupted for miles by cars lined up, news vans, and police and traffic control officers placing cones in the road. The owners of this station should be cited for public nuisance and impeding traffic. It makes no sense - motorists are their business, and yet they choose being on TV at the expense of irritating hundreds of potential customers (the very people who ordinarily drive by their station) by creating a traffic jam. I accidentally locked my keys, wallet, and cell phone in my car when parked at one of the pumps at this specific location. After explaining my story to the attendant on duty, he allowed me to use the station's land line to make a few phone calls to call for a friend and/or roadside assistance. It was about 7 in the morning so you can imagine that no one was answering their phone. After I finally retrieved roadside assistance's contact phone number and was in the middle of calling them, the attendant told me I was no longer allowed to use the phone and that his boss was going to get mad at him about the phone calls I had made. He then proceeded to get angry with me and swear at me and kicked me out of his store. Eventually, I was able to get in to my car after a friend came to my rescue but I will never stop at this station again and I won't be giving Shell any more of my money.
