Your basic gas station with a car wash and convivence store, but dang - they have expensive gas! Be careful because the posted prices are with the purchase of a car wash so don't get suckered in like I did thinking the 20 cents per gallon saved with car wash purchase is actually worth much. I honestly only went here because it was close to where I was, and I needed a car wash. One thing of note is this car wash requires an attendant to start the thing. There is no code to enter, in fact the code on the receipt is 00000, and if there was a code, there isn't any machine to enter it. Problem will arrive when that attendant gets called away to for some reason and you just have to sit there while cars pile up behind you, trapping you in. (This happened to me today where I waited almost 5 minutes for someone to help me. She was super apologetic though, probably since I finally honked my horn after 4 minutes to get someone's attention.) They do provide a little moist towelette to clean your dashboard while you're in the wash. That was a nice touch. read more

I just want to shout-out to Joaquin who has always been very helpful, respectful, and kind to me when I come in. For being an all-in-one gas station, car wash and smog check facility located at a very busy intersection, it is a very clean property! As I waited a mere 15 minutes while Abbas ran my Smog Check, I found myself relaxed, watching cars go in the car wash coming out sparkling clean -- owners smiling! Once my Smog Check was done, I went into to the small but abundantly stocked Food Mart to pay. Attendant Joaquin was friendly and quick bringing my experience to a 5 Star close! read more

Went back again today and had quite the opposite of experience from the last time. A pleasant gentleman named Joaquin helped me out and he was very friendly and attentive. There were no issues at all. Got a great wash and vacuum and cleaning area was neat and well-kept. THIS PLACE LOOKS NICE, BUT THEY'RE NOT NICE. If the owner contacts me and speaks to his smarmy employee, I will be happy to update this review and change the rating. Here's what happened: I filled my tank with gas and purchased a carwash at the pump. I pulled around to the back of the station and there were cones in front of the entry to the carwash (see the pictures below). Mind you, from the gas pumps you cannot see that the car wash is closed. As I pull up to the cones, a gentleman from the smog/car bay tells me that the car wash had been down since yesterday and won't be fixed until Monday. I go to the attendant in the store and tell her I would like my money back for the car wash. She says "No". I asked her for the manager and she said, "the manager is not here". I asked her to call the manager and she refused. I then asked why she wouldn't do the refund and she said that they gave me a .20 price break on every gallon. I said that I would pay the difference. She refused that as well. I explained that I live 200 miles from Orange and that I couldn't come in for some time to get my carwash. This whole time she kept shrugging her shoulders with a patronizing smile and repeated "No". I explained to her that if the car wash is broken, they should have signs posted on every pump to let customers know. She said that the carwash just recently broke and how was she to know. Fair enough, but I pointed out to her that the smog attendant, who was in the store at this point, said it had been down for over a day now--which he confirmed to her. (Obviously the owner, manager and employees knew that they were broke and they had time to change the pump settings and post something) Still, she said she wouldn't put signs out on the pumps. I said, I'm sure you have a pencil and paper back behind the counter and you could probably could do that right now. She shrugged her shoulders again and said, "No". So to sum it up, the owner and this young lady are completely ok with taking money and not providing the service that was paid for. They're completely ok with false advertising. Moreover, they're completely ok with not trying to fix the situation. I said, OK. I'm going to take pictures of this and post it. She said, "that's fine". read more

The staff here provides great customer service they are always really nice especially the lady who works here . The location is good right on a Main Street it usually isn't packed so you get in and out really quickly . The inside of the gas station is small but they still sell a good amount of stuff . So I stopped by for a car wash. Chose the deluxe, close to $9. I got halfway home, which is in Irvine, and noticed that the right side mirror was completely smudged. It was cleaner before the wash! So I called and he said with the receipt I could bring it back. Well, I threw the receipt away, it would cost too much in gas and time to go back AND my car didn't get clean the first time, only dirtier. This has never happened. Before the remodeling I did not gas or shop here, now since the remodeling I have found myself fueled my cars here all the time. As a matter of fact I dint fuel anywhere else, because if you buy gas you get discount on fuel and car wash. I get good discounts for fuel with rewards cards and car wash. Sold me a car wash that was closed without any explicit labeling and refused to refund me my money. I acknowledge there is a sign but they refuse to refund. Just a sign of bad character. Raymond, the attendant informed me that David, the owner is aware of these complaints and has been entirely negligent of responding to them. Either Raymond is a sucky employee or David is a sleazy business owner. Either way, the policies of this business are far subpar and reflective of what's wrong with these particular people and why you can't trust them. Stay away at all costs. They will lie to you to get what they need. Hell if you need to upcharge, then upcharge. Don't give me that no refund BS for a service not provided. read more

As a rideshare driver this Shell has great prices that discount the gas along with a clean car wash. I enjoy that the vacuums are available prior to or after the wash at no charge. Additionally, the staff for the car wash are friendly and provide excellent customer service. For example, one employee named Richard is always welcoming and provides fast service. Car owners beware! I utilized the new car wash that was recently installed at this location. 1. In the middle of the car wash, my car got turned at about 25 degrees to the right (towards the wall). My front tires was pushed out of the track by the automated system. 2. I was helped by the attendant to get my car back on the automated track. The attendant told me to swing back around for another car wash. 3. As I pulled out of the wash to go back around, I realized that my car was not driving normal. I parked near entrance of the car wash again. Upon looking at my rear tire - it was punctured through the sidewall of the tire. This is what I am mostly concerned about: I can be understanding that this operation is new to the owner. I understand sometimes things need to be refined to get the operation to work smoothly. I also am forgiving to employees new on the job. The bottom line is this: the person in charge, manager or owner of the station came out and tried to place blame on me for the end result. He stated he had video footage of me touching the wheel and pressing on the brake during the carwash. In addition, he told me that the car wash attendant clearly explained that I was not to brake, put the car in neutral and not to touch the steering wheel. I do remember the attendant telling me to be patient as she was new to this. I had demanded that he pay for my tire to be fixed. He did pay for the tire to be replaced with a mobile service company. He stated the tire that he would replace mine would be a different brand as the existing one. While I cannot specifically recall stepping on any brake, turning the wheel or anything of this matter - I can tell you that I have been through MANY automated car washes and I have never had a single problem. I would hope that I had enough common sense not to brake, turn the wheel and to leave the car in neutral. I advised them to put up some signs with clear directions to instruct drivers what to do. The thing that bothers me the most about this whole experience? The managers, person in charge or owners complete deniability of responsibility so quickly and right on the spot. Even worse? He stated to me - if I show you the video, I will NOT pay for the tire. I never did get to see it. I highly doubt this post will get many views, but I am guessing that at some point in the future, some other car owner is going to get a similar experience and look at YELP to see if this has happened before - here it is for the record. I hope that my experience does not become yours. I would estimate this car wash has been running for about a month or two from the date of my post. I will NEVER go back to this gas station. I have purchased gas, have completed smog checks here for about 12 years. read more

I've been coming here for awhile now for gas and one of the girls from car wash convinced me to try it and I loved it! The service was amazing. The only complaint i have is that i stopped by one night for gas and one of the employees who was a male had a strong odor coming from him and bad attitude.
