    Car wash instructions
    Amy T.

This review is for the gas station and car wash. General overview: 2 fueling stations were down at the time I was there around 3pm on a Monday. 5-6 cars waiting for a car wash. Once I jumped in line for the car wash, it took about 20 minutes before it was my turn, by that point, 6 more cars lined up behind me. The instructions are posted to the right of the entrance of the wash. I had pre-picked the $8 option (2nd to the last of the simplest option), the machine lets you punch in the authorization code on your receipt ahead of time even when the car ahead of you is still mid-wash. Follow the lights once you're inside and turn off your engine on red, but I see some cars choose to keep their engine running. Overall a so-so experience.

Review for air and car wash. I went to pump air into my tires and was quite disappointed. By law, you're supposed to provide free air and water for fuel but not only did you have to pay ($1.5 for 3 minutes) but the card machine for it didn't even work! Just so you know, Chevron has a free one, so go there. Car wash at Shell is actually cheaper than Chevron and has more options. I always opt for the $7 one because it's all I need. The best thing is you can pay at the front of the car wash, in case you were t planning to buy gas. The wait can be long so go during off peak... I believe you should account 7-15 minutes per car ahead of you.

Pay inside before going in line. Machine doesnt take payments. Be prepared to be in line for 25-30 mins

scratches and paint peeling after car wash.

This is a formal complaint about the store management Rocio. This lady has absolutely no skills to be a store management. On the evening of November 24th, I took my car to the car wash at this location which is located at 398 Gellert Blvd. When I finished washing the car and went back to the garage, something terrible happened. I found a lot of scratches and paint peeling on the front right side of the car, my car even went from a shiny finish to a matte finish. I immediately went back to gas station and tried to report the issue to their staff, But I was told that their manager wasn't there, none of these people knows how to handling my situation, they asked me to come back and talk to their manager on Friday. On Friday afternoon I returned to the same place and was told that their manager was not there. After some tossing and turning, I was told that their manager worked at another store which is located at 390 Hickey Blvd. I reached out to the management Rocio by phone and tried to explain my situation to her, but instead of trying to understand the cause of the matter, she was very indifferent to me and told me that they're not responsible for any damage caused by the car wash. I had to go to her place of work and show her how my car was doing. She threw the car wash incident report form right in my face instead of saying Hello. I took her to my car and tried to show her where it had been scratched, but was met with a cynical look on her face, she even tried to pass the buck by saying that the scratches on my car weren't from their car wash. Really? Rocio, do you really think you will knows my car better than myself? She even tried to tell me that they posted a disclaimer outside the car wash and told me that I can go to take a photo if I like. But hey! However, the disclaimer does not mean that you do not need to maintain your equipment to cause all this damage to my car even though I have followed the rules. All right, I completed the car wash incident report form and asked her when I would hear back, but I was told " I DON'T KNOW" on every single question I had asked after I had the incident form get completed. "Nothing else I can do it for you, your situation are took over from our corporate office now" she said. Mrs Rocio, as a store manager, do you feel your attitude, your ability to work, and your customer service are really what a manager should be? Based on your attitude and ability to deal with problems, I will definitely follow up my situation, if you don't want to deal with it, I'll deal with your corporate office, if your corporate office doesn't want to deal with it, I'll go over to the Best Business Bureau. Because I believe customers should be treated as they should be treated.

Covered in soap suds after two attempts.

Car came out the other side of the car wash covered in soap suds. Went inside to complain and was told that a few suds was inevitable, as this wasn't a professional hand wash. If you take a look at my photo, this was not a few soap suds. This was going to drown my black car and look worse than it did starting. They begrudgingly let me run it through again. Still came out with soap suds. I drove away. Going to take it to a different car wash tomorrow.

I always come here because it's Shell and one of the cheaper locations to get gas :) It's connected to loop, which has a car wash that was packed when I went. And I'm on the quest to find a good car wash location, this place isn't too bad! When you pay for your gas, you have an option to get a car wash, you click yes, choose from 4 types of washes (descriptions of them are at the top of the machine) and you get a receipt that has a code which you punch in right before you enter the car wash. I really liked that I received a discount of .10/ gal on my gas with the purchase of a car wash! This place is pretty cool, considering it's Shell and has more spots for cars than the usual gas station.

Lady there who acts as manager is very rude to the customers. And changing their register to ring up is so ridiculous.

They have a Loop attached to the gas station so you can also go inside and fuel up on snacks and drinks.

It was my first time washing my car by myself and I wasted 1/2 minutes trying to figure out how to turn it on, but that was on me. I realized I had to press the circle dial buttons to choose which function I wanted to start with, then the hose would start spraying out water. $3 for 4.5 minutes. Fair price especially in the city. I had a handful of microfiber towels in my car which really came in handy to dry my car, but I'll definitely bring more to hand-dry it properly. I'll have to wash my car more regularly to be more efficient in the future.

There was no contact information so I could get my money back. Just wanted to warn others that the vacuums aren't working. I used to love this place until I didn't get a refund. It seems like a lot of uber drivers and people were here and that this place makes a lucrative surmounts of money--so they should be able to afford to put working vacuums. Quality--3/5: Exterior wash is excellent, it comes with rainbow wash, rinse and apple pay. Value--2/5: This very expensive. For 6 minutes, its $6.00. I don't know who the owner is but its unfair and uneven pricing for non-working vacuums, I was really upset at the end of the day. I would of given this place 5 stars if I got my money back and the vacuums were working.

Phablo spent nearly 4 hours rehabilitating the interior of my 20yo Honda Element, and I am quite pleased with the results. The Element is now gleaming! It was a big job that needed doing before my cross-country trip, and I did not relish the prospect of spending hours at a service facility or taking Uber back and forth. With mobile service, I was able to put in a full day's work, and that was well worth the cost.

The end result was - well, like a brand new car! After the deep clean, we pulled the car into my garage, and then the magic happened. Phablo waxed and polished and worked his magic until my car really did look like the day I bought it. I had unfortunate tree sap and overspray with nature debris - he clay-bared this to a near-new finish. I'm so impressed with his attention to detail and timely text updates - he gives me the "I'm done@, and voila...car is presto - liked new! Great guy and great work. He sent me a text hours later with a short note and such a nice touch: "Thank you for letting me detail your car". Class!

Overall, the quality of their service and what they guarantee is spot on, but the attention to detail is lacking, heavily. For $400 I should be getting top-notch service. I should be the VIP of your establishment for the day! And I wasn't. Honestly, it's just simple things that shouldn't be overlooked that truly matter. What does a $400 "Complete Auto Detailing" get you? PROS: Exterior - Wash, Dry, Clay Bar, Wax, Protective Sealant, Wheel cleaning, and Tire shine. Your vehicle will glisten almost to perfection in a way that is showroom quality. Interior - As they claim, "a complete shampoo of the interior including the carpets, seats and floormats." And this is where it stops. CONS: Honor the time agreement! I booked my appointment on Tuesday 3/17 for Friday 3/20 and was told to drop my vehicle off between 8 and 8:30am. So I arrived at 815a on the day of my appointment, only to find that the front office door was locked, dark and unoccupied on the inside. It's not a good business practice to tell clients to arrive or be somewhere at a certain time and you, yourself, are not there. Exterior - No attention to detail for the small things. It's easy to spray on car washing foam and then pressure wash it off. But when you overlook the wheel wells that's an issue. The area that a spray wash just doesn't get it. Don't call yourself a "detailing shop" if you're not going to take the time to look at and address the minor details. My vehicle is White, and just like a Black car, it shows the dirt along with everything else. Had you been paying attention, you would have and should have caught this. Don't be afraid to get down on your hands and knees and put some "elbow grease" scrubbing effort into thoroughly cleaning ALL the parts that needed to be cleaned. If there's paint and clearcoat, it shouldn't be overlooked. Interior - While they also clean and wipe the door panels, dashboard or door jambs, this is where they fell short with the quality of service by my standards. My interior gas cap door was not cleaned/wiped. The engine hood was not opened nor was it wiped and cleaned either. (See pictures) It's not like I was asking for a steam cleaning of the engine bay, but nonetheless, it's a door with a crease and hinges. If your claim is "we wipe the door panels and door jambs," under the hood shouldn't have been overlooked. Again, details matter. Honestly, you didn't even try and make an attempt and it shows. The sad thing about this whole process compared to other detail shops is they don't "Deliver" your car to you. They don't walk you out to your vehicle and go over the details of everything that they did and inquire about your level of satisfaction. Because if it's not right they'll fix it. Unfortunately at Precision Auto Body & Detail you just walk in, pay, get your keys back, and then off you go. On to the next one. I've been to other auto detail shops that treat you like royalty from start to finish that are equally comparable in price. Maybe I'll spend the extra $200 somewhere else going forward, that I know for certain won't overlook the simple and minor details.
