The pizza was okay overall, but not really my preference. I ordered the chicken and found it a bit dry and pizza was very thin. The flavor was decent, but I was expecting a little more. The service was fine, and the food was alright, just not something I'd personally go out of my way to order again.

Price is kind of high but this a a small family owned business and only 1 lady working hard in there. It's a good in between as in not fast food cheap quality but also not really high end. Pizza is 8/10 I would come back to try the other options. The dough is nice with a chew but also light since it wasn't too much breading with the NY style. Shrimp Alfredo 6/10 only 5-6 shrimp. Not too much flavor (could be a good thing), but for $15 the portion over all is good. Carbonara 7/10 bacon adds more flavor to the pasta also for $15 minutes s a good value for what you pay. Parking is difficult in this area

Cute little take out only pizza place. Staff is polite though ordering on the phone was a bit rough. I hope their online ordering options are broadened to include their whole menu since a lot of it wasn't available online so I had to call in my order. The pizzas were good. Definitely some effort was put into the dough being light and airy while still having a good chew. Paying a slight premium to support small business but I think it's worth it. Will be back to test their broad options of pastas and sides.

Food - 5/5 - I live nearby here and this place is a true pasta and pizza gem. Honestly, everything is good on the menu with -New York style pizza -pizza pies -Italian pastas -chicken wings -garlic shrimp scampi Alfredo I usually freeze this freshly baked pizza and reheat my leftovers. It's definitely worth the price with high quality Italian ingredients--I love the marinara and white sauce they use. Love coming here! I'm a frequent customer! Service - 5/5 - The lady was really nice and make sure you call ahead of time because this it provides a to-go only. I love coming here--because I love New York style pizza. For every dollar you spend--you get a medium pizza reward punch card. Ambiance - 5/5 - I'm a Daly City head, let's keep it real because I'm a real Bay Arean. It's Daly City lol, but we do have a lot of hidden gems around here. I support local businesses :-) this place has been here for more than a decade, it used to be Ray's pizza but they changed it to Pizza and Pasta house. YAY for the Pizza & Pasta House it's hella good!

I ordered a half pepperoni, half combination pizza and it was delicious--10/10. The crust was soft but still had a nice crunch, and the toppings and flavor were on point. I also ordered a pasta with vodka sauce. It wasn't bad, but it was a little bland and not my favorite compared to the pizza. Overall, I'd definitely order the pizza again and would recommend it.

I saw pizza and pasta on house on yelp and it is just as good as the reviews say! Not only were we able to order and pay online but the food was delivered so quick and it was all hot and delicious !!! The delivery man was very nice as well. My extremely picky 10 year old loved the pepperoni pizza we got and the carbonara pasta was so delicious and creamy I would highly recommend!

Ordered a spinach, ricotta cheese, feta cheese calzone was very good. the bread had a light taste to it very good very light tomato sauce she gave me with it, but overall my humble opinion was a very good calzone but also the owner the Asian lady was very friendly great Customer service had a good vibe from her little hole in the wall pizza that is nice inside. We will try her pizza next time.

Saw this place after running an errand in DC the other day. I used to live down the block and occasionally still frequent some spots in the neighborhood. We live in SF but I will drive to pickup takeout if the food is good. We were very pleasantly surprised- this pizza tasted like Tony's Slice House but at a slight discount. We also ordered buffalo wings, spaghetti & meatballs plus a slice of chocolate cake! All of it was very good and we will be back soon. The best part was it was quick, food was ready in 25 minutes and this is purely a takeout spot.

There was only one person working there when I ordered but the service was great and you can taste quality of the pizza. They also gave me a rewards card which is really nice so I'll be coming back again

It does get a bit crowded in the front with all of the people but if you have a reservation you usually won't wait long. We had one and waited a little less than ten minutes. Not bad. Joe's is always pretty lively. Everyone's having a good time. The wait staff will be often chatting up different tables of people which does make the service take a bit long. It was at least 10-15 minutes until our server finally approached. We ordered the calamari and cheesy garlic bread as appetizers. The calamari was a generous portion and was perfectly crispy and seasoned. The cheesy bread was good too though maybe unnecessary since joe's gives you sourdough for the table which is delicious itself. I'd probably try the spinach and artichoke dip instead next time I got their famous hamburger for dinner and added cheese to this. When I tell you this burger is incredible I am putting it lightly. The meat is so juicy and succulent. The seasoning and flavor of the beef is the real star. The cheese adds even more richness. The sturdy sourdough bread has a such a satisfying chew while holding everything together and not getting soggy. No notes. The banana peppers on the side give you the break you need from the richness to go back in for more. The sandwich is so big I always end up taking the second half home. Fries are great too they're very reminiscent to a fresh McDonald's French fry. We finished by sharing a butter cake. It came with assorted berries, vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. I couldn't think of a better dessert to end this meal because every dish we had shined in its simplicity and execution. And the dessert was no different. The caramelized edges of the cake added so much texture and flavor. The berries gave that much needed tartness and the ice cream brought everything together. Overall the food is consistent, classic and shows a deep understanding of what people want to eat. I'd only take a star away because of how slow the service is. Being able to order drinks was a long process and wait. It was hard to find our waiter at points or anyone to get our check for us. But I get they're busy so I won't hold it against them. The food more than makes up for it and if they manage to get quicker service and ticket times this place would definitely be a 5/5

Of their menu of 10 entrees, they only had lamb -- no beef, no chicken. So I got the lamb haneeth $19.99 and I had a choice of hummus or babaghanoush. Haneeth is a traditional Yemeni dish consisting of slow-roasted, spice-marinated lamb or chicken served over fragrant basmati rice. The meat is often seasoned with a blend of spices like cumin, cardamom, and turmeric, and slow-cooked in a sealed pot or an underground oven (tannour) to keep it moist. This tender, fall-off-the-bone meat, which is cooked for several hours, is a festive dish reserved for special occasions and feasts. The lamb was definitely tender but was kinda bland and lacked flavor. Same with the basmati rice -- it almost tasted a little old. Service was fine. I waited about 15 minutes for my takeout. There is a tiny counter along the side if you want to eat in. I also got a spanakopita (spinach) and tiropita (feta), each for $3. With so many Mediterranean places around, this market just doesn't stand up to the competition.

I placed two separate sandwich orders online through Clover for pickup under my name. I ordered them about 45 minutes before arriving. When I arrived, I showed Maria my receipts and gave her my name. She briefly checked and told me she did not have the orders. The line was long, so I understand things can get hectic, but it did not feel like she was making much of an effort to actually verify the orders. She even misheard my name and was about to hand a sandwich to someone else under a completely different name. At that point, I became concerned that one of my sandwiches might have already been given to another customer. After I continued asking her to check, she somehow found one of my orders in the same area she had already looked. However, only one of the two sandwiches was there. I showed her my Clover receipt again, including the date, timestamp, transaction information, and order details. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, she told me she did not know how to use the Clover system and could only search by name. She then told me I needed to contact Clover myself. I was honestly shocked because she was the manager but said she did not know how to use the restaurant's ordering system. When I explained I could not find a customer support number for Clover and asked what she could do to resolve the missing order, her response was essentially, "I don't know what you want me to do about it." I asked how the restaurant communicates with Clover when there is a problem with the system or how they diagnose issues with the device. Again, she said she didn't know and that the owner was responsible for the Clover system. I asked if I could speak with the owner and requested a contact number. She refused to provide one and told me I could come in early on a weekday if I wanted to speak with them. I'm not from the area, so expecting me to make another trip simply to speak with the owner was not a reasonable solution. What made the situation even worse was that I did not receive a refund for the missing sandwich. I paid for two sandwiches but only received one. Despite showing proof of payment and the order details, there was no attempt to refund the missing item or offer a replacement. Whether the missing sandwich was caused by Clover, a restaurant error, or someone accidentally receiving the wrong order, I would have expected the manager to make a reasonable effort to fix the problem. Instead, I was essentially told it wasn't her problem. Mistakes happen. Technology fails. Orders get misplaced. I understand all of that. What matters is how a business handles the problem afterward. In this case, the customer service was extremely poor, and Maria's attitude made the situation considerably worse. I've also noticed other Yelp reviews mentioning similar customer-service issues, which makes me concerned this isn't an isolated experience. I hope the owner sees this review and takes the time to address what happened. Little Lucca might have good food, but good food doesn't excuse poor customer service or charging a customer for an item they never received. I paid for two sandwiches, received one, was not refunded for the missing sandwich, and was given no reasonable solution. Extremely disappointing experience.

I love mushroom and garlic as it brought out an umami/savory flavor to the dish. The corn meal crust melts in your mouth and was not heavy at all. For each slice, felt like you just ate 2 slice because of how much stuffing they put into this pizza. It was soooo filling!!! Small is perfect for 3 people.
